This essay is a contribution to the process of reconstructing the meaning of a concept that has been long forsaken and somewhat forgotten. It examines the way in which the Swedish nobility perceived the politically active peasantry during the 1740s as an expression of the prevailing political culture of the period. The aim of this study is thus to understand a bygone world of thought that once existed in a very turbulent political culture. I focus on the words formed and articulated in the halls and rooms of the Swedish estates by which the thoughts, opinions and power of the Swedish government came to the fore. In doing so it is possible to say something about how the nobility, in their relationship with the peasantry, constructed an object which represented their perception of the Swedish peasant and what this meant.

Young people of today have a much wider access to information on sex and relationships, and they receive this information from a variety of different sources. This information can sometimes paint a diverse and inconsistent picture. School constitutes one of these sources, and one of the few places were young people can discuss and reflect on these issues together with their peers as well as adults. The purpose of this essay is to gain insight on what adolescents between the age of 15 to 18 think about sex and relationships and their thoughts about sex education in school. It?s a qualitative study based on discussions with adolescents divided in four focus groups, two groups of girls and two groups of boys.

I have always been told that form follows function. But does it have to be that way? I decided to see it  from another angle.Kinesics is a term form non verbal komunication. In my thesis project I have been working with body language in furniture.  I believe that furniture, just like us, has an expression and a character. We often tend to desccribe furniture with the same words as we describe people, for example: "A relaxed chair" or "a cocky table".

Mellan yta och form är ett examensarbete i smyckekonst, påkandidatnivå som undersöker vad en monoton bearbetning av metall kan resultera i. Jag har använt mig av en puns för att göra avtryck i tunt utvalsad plåt. Det bildas små gropar i metallen, sakta växer en nystruktur fram och den tunna plåten blir hård av bearbetningen.Jag har undersökt relationen mellan den enskilda pricken och den yttre formen på plåten, vad händer med ytan när jag går upp i storlek och inom vilken form ska denna yta befinna sig i? Hur förhåller sig den nya ytan till den gamla? Och hur blir ytan bärbar? Bland annat dessa frågor har varit underlag för mitt arbete, men under processens gång harmycket annat kommit till. Tankar och reflektioner kring mitt arbete, framförallt vad bearbetning av metall innebär för mig, upprepningens effekt på arbetet och min fascination för förvandlingen av materialet har varit framträdande..

Nina Fredriksson: Nils Lindbergs körmusik. Analys av tre stycken ur O Mistress mine. Uppsala: Musikvetenskap, 60 p., 2002.Uppsatsens syfte är att studera Nils Lindbergs sätt att komponera för kör. En central fråga är hur de framträdande stildragen i musiken skapar och påverkar musikens expansion och avspänning. Som analysmaterial har använts tre stycken ur körsviten O Mistress mine.

Studien jämför tv-serierna Girls och Entourage utifrån homosocialitet och samkönad vänskap, det vill säga bromance och womance som det i studien refereras till. Syftet var att undersöka om framställningen av homosocialitet och homosociala band såg olika ut, samt om detta stämde överens med tidigare studier och generella uppfattningar av homosocialitet i såväl mellanmänskliga relationer som i populärkulturen. Homosocialitet beskrivs som prefererade och uppskattade vänskapsrelationer mellan personer av samma kön. Homosocialitet och homosociala normer ligger därför till grund för könssegregering och exkluderandet av kvinnor genom att män tenderar att intressera sig för, välja och bekräfta andra män. Ju starkare homosociala band mellan män desto starkare är deras traditionella genusordning, tvärtom är kvinnans traditionella genusordning starkare om hennes homosociala band är svaga.

The study seeks to from professionals perspectives describe and analyze the beliefs they have about women with intellectual disabilities and their pregnancy and motherhood. We will also discuss and reflect on the possible support that professionals find important for women to handle pregnancy and motherhood. The information has been gathered through interviews with five different professions that have come in contact with the audience in their work. In our material we found three distinctive perspectives: a child´s perspective, a parent´s perspective and a community perspective. From these perspectives, we could find many similarities in the informants´ perceptions, which resulted in different themes.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka möjligheten att betygsätta elevers arbeten i kursen Bild och form, 50 poäng, i åk 2 på gymnasiet. Frågeställningen är om de för kursen angivna betygskriterierna räcker till för att sätta betyg i ett ämne som förutsätter ett kreativt arbete. Forskningen består av kvalitativa intervjuer med fem lärare. Intervjufrågorna var öppna och sakliga. Styrdokumenten gällande betygsättning överhuvudtaget och betygsättning i praktiska ämnen för gymnasiet i synnerhet samt annan relevant litteratur har granskats och sedan kombinerats med intervjuresultaten.

Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka vad förskolebarn i åldern cirka 4-6 år från två olika förskolor i sydvästra Sverige hade för uppfattningar av nederbörd i form av snö. Frågeställningar som användes för att svara på syftet var: Vilka uppfattningar har förskolebarn av nederbörd i form av snö? samt Vilka uppfattningar har förskolebarn av hur snö relaterar till vattnets kretslopp? Ansatsen för undersökningen var fenomenografisk. Metod för datainsamling var intervjuer i grupper om fyra förskolebarn i varje, sammanlagt deltog 15 förskolebarn, både pojkar och flickor.  Intervjuerna var hade låg grad av standardisering och strukturering och inleddes med cirka en minuts film om snö. Resultatet blev nio beskrivningskategorier som visar förskolebarns varierande uppfattningar av nederbörd i form av snö och dess relation till vattnets kretslopp.Nyckelord: uppfattningar, förskolebarn, nederbörd, snö, vattnets kretslopp .

Creating and maintaining good relationships can be problematic, but can this problem be different for a young woman with a neuropsychiatric disability as Aspergers syndrome? A person with Aspergers syndrome often has difficulties with communication and interaction with other people. But the syndrome is also characterized with special interests, different language management and difficulties with sudden changes.

Organisationskultur är det arbetsklimat och de arbetssätt som företag skapar utifrån sina värderingar och visioner. En central aspekt av organisationskultur är att förmedla företagets värderingar och få medarbetare att göra värderingarna till sina egna, för att på så sätt förbättra företagets produktivitet och resultat. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur strategier för att förmedla organisationskultur på en arbetsplats kan skapa motivation och samtidigt styra de anställda. För att undersöka detta genomfördes en kvalitativ studie på ett rekryteringsföretag, där tio semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med anställda på olika positioner. Fokus låg på att få en helhetsbild av företagets kultur och arbetssätt för att se hur dessa kan motivera och styra de anställda.

The aim of this study is to find out what education in literature is like from a student perspective; what kind of literature the students read and how well they understand literature, and the methods and didactics used during the literature lessons. The questions at issue are:1) What kind of literature do the students read?2) How well do the students understand literary texts?3) What do the students think about their literature education?To be able to answer the questions, both quantitative and qualitative methods have been used in the study. The inquiry was accomplished on 29 students, 17 boys and 12 girls in the upper secondary school. The result showed, despite the limited amount of students, interesting facts.

The purpose of the current study is to present an interpretation of Eros and its demonical aspect as it is described in Plato?s dialogues Phaedrus and The Symposium as well as to attempt to throw some light over the question in which way the erotic as such influences Plato?s notion of how to pursue philosophy. In the first part of the essay an account is given of the Platonic Eros as a unifying element and as striving for being. I defend the position that in the context of the interpreted dialogues philosophy is thought of as an erotic enterprise which takes place as a coming closer to the object of love. This coming closer takes place as remembering in Phaedrus and as creating in beauty in The Symposium.

How the Eucharist?s motive of communion in combination with Lögstrup?s ethics could motivate a non-alcoholic sacramental wine in the Church of Sweden.The purpose of this essay is to illuminate the meeting between the person who gives out bread and wine in the Eucharist and the person who receives the wine, from tree perspectives: the communion in the Eucharist, the ethical demand of K.E. Lögstrup, and today?s knowledge of alcohol and it?s negative effects on the human being. I want to study how these three perspectives can affect the interpersonal meeting in the Eucharist when it comes to giving out alcoholic wine, and to investigate if Lögstrups ethical demand could be used by the Church of Sweden when to decide about a sacramental wine with or without alcohol.I have started to study K.E Lögstrup and his theory about the ethical demand, and then researched the Eucharist in the Church of Sweden and the results of recent sociological and medical research of alcohol?s effect on the individual and on society.

This essays purpose is to accentuate the meaning of the knowledge of the design elements color, formand texture in the hair design education. Both the Bauhaus school and Pivot Point educationcampaign close knowledge in color, form and texture. In my study of the literature I compared theBauhaus school with Pivot Point International Inc, study material for hair design education. From thesimilarities in this material I develop a project in color, form and texture. This was a teaching test forstudents in the hair design education at the upper secondary.
