Fotografers och föräldrars attityder kring skönhetsretuschering i skolfotografier : En semistrukturerad intervjustudie
Through semi-structured interviews with 8 school photographers and 10 parents,this study attempted to clarify what photographers and parents of children(aged 1?5) in preschool think of photography business in the current situationprovides retouching children?s school photographs and what they considers tobe acceptable. The result shows that companies do not offer photo retouchingfrequent, but performs this service at the direct request of the customer. Themajority of parents agreed that dirt and food was accepted to be removed fromthe photograph, and that this does not affect the child's self image. Kompetenta ledare är en förutsättning för framgångsrikt företagande och ledarutveckling i organisationer bidrar på så sätt till utveckling av individer för organisationers bästa. Därmed kan ledarutveckling betraktas som ett viktigt strategiskt verktyg för att organisationer ska kunna utnyttja sina ledare på bästa möjliga sätt. Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att bidra till vidare forskning kring hur kompetensutveckling och socialisering sker i traineeprogram. Vi har valt att samla in vårt empiriska material genom kvalitativa intervjuer och undersökningen har utförts i form av en fallstudie av Lantmännens traineeprogram. Vårt resultat har visat att det finns en tydlig koppling mellan socialisering och effektiv kompetensutveckling i traineeprogram.

To complete an overweight treatment program is associated with better weight loss. Previous studies have in principle focused on drop-out from the entire program, not individual parts of a program. Factors previously shown to influence the patients´ weight loss results are: frequency of individual meetings with a professional, the lack of social support from family or friends, the lack of motivation and in a few studies vacations. In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.

The freshwater pearl mussel (Margaritifera margaritifera) is threatened throughout its range. There has been a substantial decline of the species and one major reason is habitat degradation. We investigated how the substrate composition of the bottom floor affects the regeneration of the mussel by analyzing data from the Västerbotten County Board?s inventory of the freshwater pearl mussel. The results implied that fine material such as fine sediment and sand might be detrimental to regeneration whereas gravel and boulders and in particular stone seem to be beneficial.

Var äter semestrande svenskar och varför? ? En studie om svenska turisters mat- och dryckeskonsumtion på ön Koh Lanta
Studien har genom en metodtriangulering kartlagt svenska turisters mat- och dryckeskonsumtion på Koh Lanta och undersökt hur dessa kan påverka den lokala ekonomin med koppling till hållbar turism. Vidare har turisternas motivering till varför de konsumerar mat och dryck på olika platser samt deras medvetenhet om hållbar turism studerats.Syftet är att skapa en ökad förståelse för svenska turisters mat- och dryckeskonsumtion och undersöka hur medvetna de är om sin egen påverkan på destinationen Koh Lanta. Studien har i ett slutskede kommit fram till ett antal slutsatser. Bland annat har det konstaterats att svenska turister på Koh Lanta till större delen väljer att äta utanför hotellet de bor på, men att ju dyrare boendekostnad per person, desto oftare tenderar turisterna att äta på hotellrestaurangen. En annan slutsats är att medvetenheten om hållbar turism hos svenska turister är relativt hög, men att detta sällan präglar turisternas val och beteende.

This essay discusses the use of history, and primarily how the current Swedish society perceives and uses the Viking age. The analysis is based on a literature study as well as a case study of the planned theme park in Fullerö north of Uppsala, Sweden. The aim of the essay is to understand the regional debate which arose in media regarding the planning of Fullerö Park and how it reflects the contemporary use of history. Research about the use of history has become increasingly common in recent years and deals with how history is actively being used in society in order to meet its existing needs. These needs varies among different groups and individuals and results in a multitude of usages, where the interests of the different actors may be contradictory.

Transport is an important aspect to take account in efforts to achieve sustainable tourism development. If we do not change our behavior regarding travel, the consequences will be significant for the environment. This study examines the various transport operators on the two Swedish ski resorts if their websites and marketing are different from each other in the mode selection. The destinations are Åre and Hemavan Tärnaby. They studied modes are two Swedish airlines, two train companies, three bus companies and three taxi companies.These corporate websites are studied with a content analysis in which the results of the keywords that have been developed are scored according to different categories.
All-inclusive hotellens påverkan i Alanya : En fält- och intervjustudie om hållbarheten i destinationen
Denna studie behandlar Turkiets turistdestination Alanya utifrån ett hållbarhetsperspektiv. Vidare om all-inclusivehotellens påverkan på destinationen. Syftet med studien är att undersöka de sociala, ekonomiska och miljömässiga faktorerna. För att analysera detta använder vi oss av teorier som berör hållbar utveckling och hållbar turism samt positiva och negativa aspekter av all-inclusivekonceptet. Metoden för undersökningen är kvalitativ där en fält- och intervjustudie genomförs i Alanya.

Under de senaste 300 åren har jordbrukslandskapet i Sverige genomgått stora förändringar. I början av 1900-talet introducerades konstgödslet och efter andra världskriget ökade gödslingen dramatiskt i syfte att maximera produktionen. Detta har lett till att överskottet av kväve har spolats ut i vattendragen. Habitat preference and foraging behaviour in adult red-tailed monkeys (Cercopithecus ascanius)
The red-tailed monkey (Cercopithecus ascanius) is a small, alert and active animal inhabiting forests with dense vegetation and as such hard to observe in its natural habitat. The principal aim of this study was to scrutinize whether the methods, previously used in a behavioural study of the blue monkey (Cercopithecus mitis) can be applied in studies of the red-tailed monkey?s behaviour as well. Additionally, habitat preference and foraging behaviour of the red-tailed monkey were examined. The study was carried out between the 16th and the 22nd of March 2009 in the Sabaringo forest, located on the western border of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Relationer på den industriella marknaden - faktorer som inverkar på förtroende
The purpose with this study has been, based on different public and private procurement conditions, to measure if there are any significant differences in the business relations between public- and private institutional kitchens. Furthermore, to observe what important influencing factors there are to maintain and develop a relationship between a producer and customer. The result of the analysis shows that there are important factors that influences on the trust in the relationship between a producer and customer. These factors are product- and service exchange, communication, strategic purchase and social exchange. In this examination we have showed that there are differences in the relationship between public- and private customers.

Erosion in coastal areas is a common problem all around the world. The range of the problem depends on several factors, i.e. type of bed-rock and soil, wind and wave climate. Another factor is whether the area is of high interest, i.e. if the area is important for tourism and recreation, if there are houses and other buildings close to the shoreline or if it is a site of special scientific interest.
