Problem definition: By what marketing communications do consumers want companies in the jewelry industry to communicate its potential CSR activities?Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate in what kinds of marketing communications consumers want the jewelry industry to communicate its potential CSR work.Method: The study has used a quantitative approach to data collection, focused on a survey to answer the purpose of the study and the problem definitions.Conclusion: The study found that the respondents want a clearer communication of CSR work in the industry and that the most suitable communication channels according to respondents differ depending on gender. The female respondents think that the most appropriate channels are product promotions and direct marketing. Jämtkraft AB has recently modernized its hydropower station at Hissmofors by replacing four older worn out units with two new units. The generators uses a concept with sliding stator feet to deal with the thermal movements that occur in the stator during operation when the unit is operating intermittently. At other sites, this method revealed shortcomings in the reliability. This has made Jämtkraft AB feel uncertainty about its function and therefore want to investigate it during an early stage. The generators have a built-in monitoring system for the sliding stator feet and by using data from there the function of the sliding stator feet has been investigated. The study focused on how the different stator feet move relative to each other and how the eccentricity and deviation from roundness changed during operation. The results show that there are several indications that the function of the sliding stator feet is not satisfactory.

The aim of this study is to examine the services offered by the public libraries in the context of distance learning students. I wanted to examine if there has been any discussion among the public libraries on how the new needs and demands affect them. To get a premonition on the development in Sweden I have focused on the public libraries in the province of Blekinge, which in many ways can be looked upon as precursors. Interviews have taken place with the distance learning students contacts at the local public libraries, the responsible librarian and a distance learning organiser at the local university college, the county library consultant and one of the chief librarians. I have reached the conclusion that no thorough discussion on the far-reaching aspects has taken place.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease, which affects mostly women. RA is also a chronic disease and the treatment is focused on moderating the immunological process. RA-patients experience daily pain which affect their prosperity. The aim of this literature study is to illuminate some factors that influence the well-being of patients with RA. The factors that have been studied are pain, nutrition and need of knowledge about nutrition.

Denna studies syfte är att ta reda på hur pedagoger och tjänstemän på utbildningsförvaltningen tolkar begreppet pedagogisk dokumentation. Min frågeställning var:Hur tolkar pedagogerna och ansvariga på utbildningsförvaltningen pedagogisk dokumentation?Vad är meningsfullt att dokumentera?Vad är det som gör att man kan arbeta med pedagogisk dokumentation?För att få svar på mina frågor så byggde jag min studie på teori från olika pedagoger och forskare inom pedagogik och sedan intervjuer och enkäter med pedagoger och tjänstemän på utbildningsförvaltningen. Resultatet visar att begreppet pedagogisk dokumentation kan tolkas olika och det som ligger i grund hur man tolkar begreppet är vilken barnsyn du som pedagog har. Förskolans pedagoger använder sig av pedagogisk dokumentationen genom observationer med olika metoder det kan vara ex kamera, observationsmallar m.m.

Företaget Ida Infront, där examensarbetet utfördes, var intresserad av hur den grafiska pluginkonfigurering kan göras mer användarvänlig i deras egenproducerade mjukvaruprogram iipax. Programmet iipax används bland annat till att effektivisera ärendehanteringsprocesser och digitala arkiveringar. Det är till stor del uppbyggt av plugins vilka förtecknas i en konfigurationsfil men även i vissa fall det grafiska användargränssnittet. Pluginkonfigurering sker genom att användaren fyller i pluginnamn, parameternamn och parametervärden för ett plugin i ett formulär. Det finns ingen information i programmet vilka plugins som finns eller vad de har för parametrar, vilket gör det svårt att konfigurera plugins.

My essay is concerned with intercultural leadership and practical knowledge. The essay is about ethical dilemmas and the diversity of issues we face constantly at the preschool. In my story I examine the different views of knowledge and the opportunities to lead people in an intercultural way, and how they relate to each other. I start by looking at the ethical ideas that form the basis for our actions and our view of knowledge. Then, I examine how the practical wisdom guides the ethical dilemmas that arise at the preschool.

We would like to gain a more in depth knowledge of whether the modern orientations both within corporate governance and control philosophy lay the foundation for enterprises? more sustainable success. These both modern orientations are increasingly focusing on the importance of enterprises? setting of goals and visions on the basis of stake holders? interests and the employees? more active engagement in and motivation for the goal achievement. Despite these common inherent characteristics, it is not evident from current scientific debate how such integration actually emerges in the control philosophies of the enterprises.

The object of this study is the female user of amphetamines and the characteristica which she is often described by. Many of these descriptions regard the female amphetamine user's sexuality which also have come to form the assumption that these women make a living from having sexual relations with men in exchange of drugs.In order to be able to draw any kind of conclusions regarding this, we found it necessary to investigate how the stereotypical female user of amphetamines makes a living and also whether it is possible for a female drug user to decide for her self how to support her habit.The disposition is a qualitative study of literature and the perspectives that we focused on in this study are gender roles, relationships and sexuality, criminality and finally the drug using woman as a victim. Denna studie är en beskrivning av ett pedagogiskt utvecklingsarbete kring det samiska informationsprojekt vilket jag varit ansvarig för inom ramen för mitt arbete som museilärare på Skansens Visningsavdelning. Projektet omfattade tiden 2004-2006. Aktionsforskning handlar om att utveckla och förändra en verksamhet men också att skaffa sig kunskap om hur detta går till och vad som sker under arbetets gång. Det viktigast verktyget inom aktionsforskningen är reflektionen. Jag har reflekterat över vad som kännetecknar mitt museipedagogiska synsätt och utifrån detta studerat övriga synsätt i projektet och deras relation till varandra.

In this modern period, societal and religious groups are strongly divided regarding the acceptability of abortion. Despite so many attempts by various groups to find a middle ground, the debate on abortion still remains largely polarized, at its most dramatic point with the extreme conservatives claiming abortion to be the moral equivalent of murder and the extreme liberals see it as devoid of moral import. And this polarization is due to the legal battle that continues to shadow moral discussions. An acceptance of an ethical nuance will here play as a concession on the deeply contested question of whether abortion should be a legally protected option for a woman, and to an extent blame for the continued crudeness which can be laid at the doorstep of a moral theory itself. Apparently, the ethical literature on abortion has focused almost exclusively on the tiniest moral assessment on whether and when abortion is morally permissible.

The aim with this study is to achieve an increased understanding and knowledge about terrorist groups. The factors that the study come to be focused around is the groups' objectives, their organization, which enemies they have and with which means that they use for there terrorism. In order to respond to this aim the four different terrorist groups, Colombian revolutionary armed forces (FARC), Baskien - our native country and our freedom (ETA), red Army fraction (RAF) and al Qaida is studied.To achieve the aim of this study the methods qualitative text analysis and comparative method is being used. It is designed also within the framework of this study a categorization model that is used as method in order to do a division of the studied groups based on their objective, enemies, organization and means. This is an essay in Swedish on the subject of democracy and demonstrations of collective violence. The study is based on a conflict between the youth-house movement in Copenhagen and the state of Denmark - the city of Copenhagen. The focus is over the period December 2006 until January 2008 with reflection on the political movement around the youth-house from the 80's and onwards. This political movement roots back to the late 60's and especially the squatting movement, the BZ, of Europe which had a strong period in Denmark both in the 60's and the 80's. There is also a strong connection to other political movements of anti-fascism, anti-globalisation, queer activism and equal rights.
