?Tollarsjuka? is a disease with a suspected immunopathological background seen in Nova Scotia duck tolling retrievers. Pyrexia, lameness, stiffness and joint- or musclepain are typical clinical signs. The purpose of this study is to describe case histories from dogs with a possible evidence of ?tollarsjuka?. 18 private dogs were included in this report. Generalised stiffness, lameness and fatigue were the most frequent manifestations of the disease.

SAMMANFATTNINGSyfte: Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskors och undersköterskors dokumentation och uppfattning om dokumentation av vätskebalans vid postoperativ vård på en ortopedisk vårdavdelning före och efter ett undervisningstillfälle.Metod: Studien som genomfördes var en kvantitativ interventionsstudie med en enkätundersökning och journalgranskning. Interventionen bestod av undervisning i ämnet vätskebalans. Enkätundersökningen genomfördes före och efter utbildningen med 11 respektive 8 deltagare. Före och efter utbildningen granskades 60 patientjournaler (n=120).Resultat: Enkätundersökningen visade att sjusköterskorna och undersköterskorna ansåg att arbetet med vätskebalans var viktigt för patienten, men en förändring i avdelningens rutiner var önskvärd. Ingen förändring i uppfattningen om arbetet med vätskebalans kunde ses hos sjuksköterskorna och undersköterskorna efter utbildningen.

Earlier work has been aimed at finding analytical methods to predict the speed of the airflow in a room and in practice heating appliances are often placed beneath the windows to reduce the draught along the floor. In a study from 2012 Mohammad Parchami developed a method for estimating the required heating power to counteract the downdraught with such heating appliances. In this study, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was used to evaluate the usefulness of Parchami?s method and also to examine the potential of adapting the depth of the inward window sill as a means of decreasing the down draught.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate if there was a difference in the tear film?s osmolarity before and after drinking coffee. 'Method: All subjects in this study were asked to fill in a questionnaire to diagnose factors in their subjective symptoms, the questionnaire TERTC-DEQ. The authors proposed the milk?s content of D-galactose as the possible mechanism, since D-galactose is used indicated ageing in animal models. Therefore, this study aims to develop a method to determine the amount of galactose, glucose and lactose in milk and fermented milk and apply it on to dairy products on the Swedish market.
