In this report we describe an adaptive simulated annealing method for sizing the devices in analog circuits. The motivation for use an adaptive simulated annealing method for analog circuit design are to increase the efficiency of the design circuit. To demonstrate the functionality and the performance of the approach, an operational transconductance amplifier is simulated. En studie av en mindre kraftstation har gjorts i samarbete med Exencotech som forskar inom energi-återvinning. Deras kraftstation behandlar återvinning av värme från uppvärmt vatten som annars inte hade använts utan ansetts som ren förlust.Den studie som genomförts har gjorts på ett 100kW system med en så stor möjlighet till modularitet som är möjligt för anpassning och flexibel installation. Studien har även innefattat en 5kW prototyp och en modulär version av 100kW systemet upp till 0,5MW. Applikationen har som krav att framför allt minska volymen och storleken på systemet. Studien innefattar även en ergonomisk och användarvänlig inriktning vilket har påverkat designen och konstruktionen hos systemet.För att finna lämpliga lösningar och koncept till projektet har flera konceptgenereringar gjorts, liksom utvärderingar av lösningar.

Babies born prematurely are deprived of normal sensorimotor stimulation when placed in an artificial environment, the incubator. The aim of this project was to design a series of products that could promote the baby?s emotional and neurological development, and to facilitate parental bonding. The products designed in this project has a theoretical basis on the research available today on cognitive and emotional development in children born prematurely. They were developed in close cooperation with a group of parents and nurses in a neonatal intensive care unit.Presence is a product collection for developmental care, consisting of a mattress, a figure and a necklace. The mattress has vibration sensors that transfer the mother?s heart beat and speakers with recorded heartbeat and her voice.

In relation to the development of IT-products it is very important that the software supplier is aware not only of the target group but also the field of application. Usability should characterize the whole IT-design process as, in relation to this context, design includes more than merely those aspects which are visible to and thus can be interpreted by the naked eye. The study examines the specific qualities and properties that substantiate the usability and the demands that a customer rightfully expects from an IT-product. The user and the customer are highlighted in the same context in order to demonstrate that it is through the customer that an IT-product is defined as being useful. Thus, from this perspective, the user and customer can be considered as being the same person.

Detta utvecklingsarbete är utfört på Komvux i Kalix med syfte att utveckla och fördjupa ett gruppcentrerat lärande genom att använda PBL. Arbetet genomfördes under sex veckor och bestod av en inledande planeringsvecka följt av fyra veckor för genomförande och avslutades med en utvärderingsvecka. Undersökningen visade att eleverna utvecklat sig på följande områden: informationssökning, strukturering, muntlig redovisning, kritisk granskning samt arbete i grupp. I utvärderingen fann vi att eleverna särskilt uppskattade den ökade gruppkänsla som momentet medförde. De ansåg att PBL-momentet skapat en grupp av vad som tidigare var en samling individer.

I detta arbete kommer jag att jobba inom denna traditionoch samtidigt undersöka hur man kan skildra naturen med ett mer kritisktperspektiv.  I detta examensarbete har metoder för design av en FPGA-baserad PCM-till-PWM-modulator för klass D-audioförstärkare testats och utvärderats. Rapporten diskuterar med stöd av matematisk analys och simuleringar interpoleringsmetoder, pulsbreddsmodulering, samplingsprocesser och sigma-delta-modulatorer. This report is a bachelor thesis work in the field of product development and design. The assignment has been to develop a solution for roof racks, normally used for cars, to fit on the open trailer models FS1425 and Alugance. The project was implemented by Johan Andersson and Victor Karlsson, students at the Mechanical Engineering program with a focus on product development and design at Jo?nko?ping?s school of Engineering, in spring 2012.The client wants to use transport solutions in the same way as roof racks on cars.
