According to the Swedish Bankruptcy Act (SFS 1987:672) legal transactions can be reopened in cases of bankruptcy, if the transactions have been the cause of or were performed while the debtor was no longer solvent and thus harming the creditors. The legislations of the Bankruptcy Act chapter 4 §5 aim to protect creditors so that the debtor cannot withdraw their property in case of a forthcoming bankruptcy, as well as prevent creditors from taking measures against the debtor when the debtor is in financial difficulties. However, according to the Swedish jurisprudence there is a hierarchy as of according to which legal rules a legal transactions shall be enquired in case of bankruptcy. Firstly, a legal act must be valid, the transaction must thus be valid accordingly to either the law of contract, the law of property or according to the rules of corporate law. Each of these three legal areas have their own rules of annulment and any legal act has to be valid in accordance to any of the rules above before an action of reopening the transaction according to the Bankruptcy Act may be brought before a court.

Arvidsjaurhem är ett helägt kommunalt bostadsföretag som hyr ut lägenheter, småhus och lokaler inom Arvidsjaur kommun. Det pågår kontinuerligt ett arbete för lägre energiförbrukning i fastighetsbranschen, detta för att energin blir dyrare och att svensk miljöpolitik mycket går ut på att minska koldioxidutsläppen och därför finns det olika styrmedel för att minska energiförbrukningen. Det låg i Arvidsjaurhems intresse att en undersökning utfördes över företagets nuvarande energiförbrukning samt förslag över hur de ska kunna sänka kostnader som är obefogat höga. Syftet med rapporten var att kartlägga samt analysera Arvidsjaurhems energiförbrukning för att kunna ge förslag på hur företaget kan sänka sin framtida energiförbrukning. I rapporten har vi samanställt alla hyresfastigheter i Arvidsjaurs tätort och dess uppvärmning, fastighetsel och vattenförbrukning och gjort en analys av varje område där vi har konstaterat vilka som är dåliga eller bra ur förbrukningssynpunkt.

 Ur ekonomisk synvinkel är kontinuerligt arbete för förbättrad kvalité viktigt, men kostnader måste sättas i proportion till de förbättringar som kan uppnås så att varje investerad krona omsätts på mest kostnadseffektiva sätt. I det genomförda examensarbetet har parametern slagseghet hos verktygsstål varit i fokus. Det är en liten del i en lång rad av kvalitetskrav som måste uppfyllas innan verktygsstålet kan levereras till kund.Examensarbetet har utförts i samarbete med Uddeholms AB på avdelningen för forskning och utveckling i Hagfors. Initiering till arbetet och dess syfte är att undersöka brottorsaken hos fyra olika verktygsstål som underkänts i slagseghet. Kan brottorsaken fastställas kan man kanske hitta orsaken till att felet uppkommit, ändra i processen och på så sätt få ett bättre utbyte, en högre kvalité och lägre kvalitetsbristkostnader.Uddeholms AB har en medveten strategi i sitt kvalitetsarbete.

Background: Low Price-Earnings ratio, low Book-to market ratio and low stock prices can give the impression that a stock is ?cheap?. Is it through systematic use of these portfolio strategies possible to beat the market index ? in other words does financial illusions exist? Purpose: To examine if the Stockholm Stock Exchange is an efficient market. Limitations: The efficiency is tested solely through the chosen portfolio strategies: low Price-Earnings ratio, low Book-to-market ratio and low stock prices.

 Problem: Uppsatsens problemformulering bygger på internrevisionens position idag, internrevisionens betydelse för företagen i Sverige samt internrevisionens betydelse för företag i Sverige i framtidenSyftet: Syftet med uppsatsen är att med hjälp av information från respondenter, forskare samt litterära verk hitta intressanta aspekter som likheter samt olikheter gällande dagens och den framtida internrevisionen. Metod: Vi väljer kvalitativa metoder i våra undersökningar. Den kvalitativa metoden omfattar intervjuer med fyra svenska företag. Vi i denna uppsats försöker klarlägga om internrevisionens framtida utveckling och betydelse hos Svenska företag. Denna belysning sker med hjälp av faktorer som internrevisionens utveckling, tidigare forskningar om internrevision, organisering av internrevision, olika incitament som påverkar internrevisionen samt kommunikationskanalerna mellan internrevisorer, externrevisorer och styrelsen.  Teori: Svenska Koden för bolagsstyrning är en reglering som liknar den amerikanska modellen Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) som uppstod efter de omfattande skandaler och företagskonkurser i USA. Denna reglering tillämpades år 2005 för svenska börsnoterade företag i Sverige vars syfte är att skapa mervärde för företagen.

Managing credit risk might be the single most important business area for any commercial bank. The assessment of "good" and "bad" corporate clients is a important task for a creditor. A bad debtor is a corporate client with hardships in meeting the continous claims (interest payments) that a creditor requires. One way of evaluating or separating a "bad" client from a "good" client is to assess the propensity for the client to file for bankruptcy. This thesis examines 226 firms in the Swedsh market in the quest of predicting corporate bankruptcy.

But then small changes in themodel could have major economic consequences.The thesis has generated results that show common weaknesses among the variousprojects and their project managers' general opinions about the project model. It alsopresents some possible solutions based on own thoughts and those interviewedobjects suggestions and comments..

The purpose of the study is to investigate and elucidate how and why municipalities cooperate across municipal boundaries with destination development. To answer the purpose the authors chose two research questions:What are the incentives of cooperation between the municipalities in Roslagen? What are the possibilities and difficulties of cooperation? In order to answer the research questions interviews with local business managers, administrative director, the acting Head of destination and tourist office staff were made. Municipalities have signed a cooperation agreement in October/November 2008, where they will work more formal together to strengthen the destination Roslagen. The result of the study shows that the main motive for municipal cooperation is the sharing of financial resources to promote and develop the destination Roslagen together.

Fetman i Sverige har under de senaste två decennierna ökat kraftigt. Till följd av detta är hälsokostnaderna relaterat till fetma ansenliga och förväntas öka ytterligare om ingenting görs åt problemet. I denna studie studeras prevention och gastric bypass som alternativa behandlingsmetoder mot fetma sett ur ett samhällsekonomiskt perspektiv. Tre hypotetiska kohorter utvecklas; status quo, effektiv prevention i ungdomsåren samt individer som utvecklar svår fetma opereras med gastric bypass. Dessa kohorter följs under åldern 20-64 år där kostnader och effekter observeras med hjälp av en beslutsträdsmodell.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att jämföra de två byggproduktionsmetoderna, industriellt/prefabricerat byggande och platsbygge. Vi undersöka om någon av metoderna är fördelaktigare än det andra, samt varför man allt mer använder sig av prefabricerat. Jämförelsen behandlar främst aspekterna byggtid, ekonomi och kvalitet. Genom en litteraturstudie och intervjuer med aktiva personer inom byggbranschen har vi införskaffat oss det material vi behöver.Att bygga och montera så mycket som möjligt inne i fabrik gör att kvaliteten ökar då materialet inte utsätts för fukt och kyla före montering. Huset byggs upp mycket fortare då byggarbetsplatsen endast blir en montageplats av olika färdiga delar.

Background: Daily news reports of school violence, bullying and harassment are common. The school has developed into an arena which has been exposed into a growing unhealthyness. Paradoxically, financial resources decreases while demands on school staff increases. How does school staff and personal cope with these demands? Aim: We sought to study sense of coherence among school employees in two schools; a comparison between one health promotional school and one school in the process of working with health promotion.

Solcellsteknik med nätanslutning är relativt nytt i Sverige och lagarna är oklara vad gäller anläggningar på bostadshus villor och offentliga hus. I analysen redovisas den ekonomiska aspekten av producerad solcellsel och konsumtionen av denna. Solcellsanläggningen på kommunhuset i Mönsterås har studerats, varvid följande resultat har framkommit: från de installerade solcellerna (210 kvm), får man 10 % av den totala energiförbrukningen i byggnaden. Kostnaden för solcellerna och installationen av dem är subventionerade av staten med 70 %. För den resterande kostnaden skulle solcellerna vara i bruk i 24 år för att täcka kostnaden.

There are many views in the concept of corporate reputation and the massive research in the area tends to result in many new definitions. Research has shown that a good corporate reputation has a positive relation to Sustainable Competitive Advantage, financial performance and attraction to competent employees. The many views in the concept make it especially interesting to examine the view on corporate reputation in a perspective of big Swedish corporations. Another interesting area to examine is whether the companies manage their reputation or not. The empirical findings of this essay are based on qualitative interviews to get a deeper understanding in the area of reputation.

Authorities, municipalities and county councils have great opportunities to pave the way to a sustainable society. In the public sector, the tax revenue is used and therefore it is important that both employees and societal stakeholders feel that they participate in the sector?s decisions and fields of application. Municipalities and county councils are primarily service organisations. The employees? commitment is necessary to be able to reach set goals, to develop procedures and policies that support the overall political goals, in other words, to be successful in the environmental work.

The purpose of this report is to give a better picture of the needs for additional services of property purchasers of Areal. Add-on services are the type of counseling you may need to achieve good economy on an agricultural property. Through a survey of property buyers of Areal information has been collected and compiled. A very good response rate was obtained and the material seemed reliable as it reflected the population in general.
