Den obemannade  helikoptern Skeldar utvecklas av Saab Aeronautics. Saab är intresserade av hur väl sensorfusion kan användas för navigering av en obemannad helikopter. Med sensorfusion kan tillgängliga sensordata fusioneras. Det är mätningar från accelerometer, gyro, GPS och magnetometer som används av olika KalmanFilter. Olika sensorfusionsmetoder föreslås, däribland Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) och ett heuristiskt Filter för att visa på hur man intuitivt kan göra för att fusionera mätningar jämfört med det modellbaserade sättet som Kalmanfiltret erbjuder.

Frågorna är: hur viktig är elevernas exponering för de kommunikativa aktiviteterna (input) i en samtalsmodul med avseende på språkinlärning och hur viktiga är dessa aktiviteter för deras affektiva Filter? Jag har använt mig av en enkät för att få svar på mina frågeställningar.                      Undersökningen har varit kvalitativ och den visar att majoriteten av informanterna anser att exponeringen för kommunikativa aktiviteter (input) i samtalsmodulen spelar en viktig roll för deras språkinlärning och de flesta upplever detta som positivt för deras kommunikativa förmåga. Informanterna upplever också att de är motiverade att delta i modulens aktiviteter eftersom modulen skapar en positiv miljö som främjar en känsla av förtroende och språklig säkerhet.  Jag drar därför slutsatsen att aktiviteter i samtalsmodulen främjar deras affektiva Filter..

At Flight and Systems test Saab AB, a post-processing software is used to process GPS data. A new software by the name GrafNav has been purchased and the purpose of this master thesis therefore became, partly to make a judgment regarding GrafNav?s ability to estimate position, velocity and accuracy, partly to if needed improve the estimate and finally find one or several methods to estimate the position and velocity accuracy. The judgment of GrafNav was performed partly by a comparison to the former post-processing software (PNAV) and partly by a comparison to the airplane?s inertial navigation system (INS).

This master thesis is a study on how a rategyro triad, an accelerometer triad, and a magnetometer triad can be integrated into a navigation system, estimating a vehicle?s attitude, i.e. its roll, tipp, and heading angles. When only a rategyro triad is used to estimate a vehicle?s attitude, a drift in the attitude occurs due to sensor errors.

In this thesis is studied the electrical load of Paradisskolan with respect to power quality and energy consumption. The school's owner Trollhättans Tomt AB is also interested to know if they can reduce their costs by changing to smaller meter fuses. A recurring ground fault that?s been recorded from powerpanel A1A has been investigated. The school's equipped with an electrical bonding system, harmonic Filters for the third harmonic currents, TN-S system from feeding transformer and groundfault monitoring.

In order to facilitate testing of anesthesia machines a patient simulator has been required by Maquet Critical Care AB. A patient simulator has been developed to reduce expensive and time consuming animal experiments and temporary lab arrangements. The patient simulator has been developed and designed to simulate human lungs with regards to anesthetic uptake, production of carbon dioxide and heating and moisturizing exhaled air.The system comprises a container and a test lung to simulate the volume and the dynamic of the human lung. The simulation of uptake of anesthetics has been implemented by pumping a fraction of the gas from the container through a bypass circuit with an active charcoal Filter that adsorbs volatile anesthetics. The flow through the bypass circuit is generated by a pump and is controlled by a linear valve.The resulting performance of the patient simulator has fulfilled the requirements.

During the last few years the presence of high arsenic (As) concentrations in ground water has been of major concern both internationally and in Sweden. Much evidence has been reported about toxic effects caused by arsenic. The carcinogenic effects and the possibility to measure the toxic impacts at low concentrations made the World Health Organisation (WHO) to reduce the guideline value from 50 to 10 ?g l-1 in 1993. In Sweden the corresponding reduction was implemented in 2003. Several surveys in Sweden have shown that high arsenic concentrations may occur in ground water.

In this Master's thesis, a direct-conversion receiver front-end has been designed in a 0.18um CMOS technology. Direct-conversion receivers (DCR) have obvious advantages over the heterodyne counterpart. Since the intermediate frequency (IF) is zero, the problem of image is circumvented. As a result, no front-end image reject Filter is required and the channel selection requires only a low-pass Filter, which makes it easy to integrate directly on chip. However, the DCR also suffers from several drawbacks such as extreme sensitivity to DC offsets, 1/f noise, local oscillator (LO) leakage/radiation, front-end nonlinearity and I/Q mismatch.

In Stockholm region the 90 000 private sewage systems contribute with larger phosphorus flows to the Baltic Sea than the two biggest sewage plants in the area, Henriksdal and Käppala, contribute together, even though these two plants purify wastewater from more than one million inhabitants. When summer house areas turn into areas for permanent living ? transition areas ? the load on the existing systems increases, systems that already often are unsatisfying. In those areas it is not clear what the best system choice is; On-site systems for single households; Local collective systems or Connection to central systems.
