Syftet med den här studien är att synliggöra hur BTI-metoden används i förskolans och förskoleklassens pedagogiska verksamhet och sätta det i relation till förskolans och förskoleklassens läroplan och gällande skollag. Syftet är också att få en förståelse för hur en pedagogisk interventionsteknisk metod riktad mot en individ, kan påverka förskolans och förskoleklassens pedagogiska verksamhet. Vi har tittat på tidigare studier som gjorts kring användandet av BTI men det finns väldigt lite forskning på det här området. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna består av Skinners teori operant betingning som kommer från behaviorismen och den sätter vi i relation till ett sociokulturellt perspektiv och ett hälsoperspektiv. I analysen problematiserar vi kring de konsekvenser en pedagogisk interventionsteknisk metod kan få för förskolans och förskoleklassens verksamhet med hjälp av dessa teorier och vår empiri.

Regarding death in youth movies,analysis of Hunger Games and I Miss You  Today, death is not as present in our everyday life as it was before when everyone knew how death both looked and smelled. This means that media today has a different role and that media can help their viewers to mourn and become aware of death in a completely different way. In this study, death is analyzed as an representation; how it affects and is experienced in two selected youth films, The Hunger Games, (Gary Ross, 2012) and Jag saknar dig/I Miss You (Anders Grönros, 2011).Previous studies mostly analysis death as a figure, and in accordance with these studies have concentrated on different physical descriptions of death; often about diseases or how death is portrayed in the news. In my opinion, these studies lack the perspective of how death is presented, but also how young people respond to these deceptions of death. This essay highlight different perspectives and show more of how death occurs, how the cinematic look is described and how young people react to what is happening on the screen.

The maintenance phase within software projects is typically very expensive in terms of resources. The activities of this phase are largely focused around some form of modification of program code. This leads one to consider if there are alternative methods of code production that results in code that allows for less costly modifications. This thesis has its basis in a subset of those concepts which research has shown to provide more flexible code. Once this subset is established, connections are made between the concepts within the subset and claims of benefits provided by the use of Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology.

Article search occurred in the databases PsycINFO and PubMed. Nine articles were selected based on the study?s inclusion criteria.

It is also to examine if, and to what extent, these means are of female nature, and to see what kind of persona Skugge uses in order to be trustworthy.Method: Rhetorical analysis of ten columns written by Linda SkuggeMain results: The study has shown that Skugge´s rhetorical strategies differ from the ones recommended in theories about female speech. Skugge writes with a lot of character and emotionally based arguments, which, according to the theories, is more of a male way of speaking. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur lärare på gymnasienivå ställer sig till att använda populärkultur och medier i sin undervisning. Undersökningen behandlar vilka attityder som finns, vilken roll populärkulturen och medieanvändandet spelar i undervisningen och hur de tror att eleverna tänker kring användandet i undervisningen. Studien behandlar fyra olika områden av populärkultur och medier: TV, film, tidningar och Internet.Denna undersökning har underbyggts av sex stycken intervjuer med olika lärare på gymnasienivå. Intervjuerna har givit en frihet för resonemang och utläggningar, men samtidigt innehållit specifika och kompletterande frågor. Studien är kvalitativt inriktad, och tonvikten lades på analyser utifrån vad som sades på intervjuerna.Populärkultur och medier påverkar de flesta människors sätt att leva idag, och diskussionerna kring detta är många.

This is an empirical study mapping out different citation practices to games in the fieldof game studies. From an analysis of 7 journals, 3 conferences and 22 canonical bookswithin game studies, 5 different strategies for game referencing have been identified.Games scholars can either totally refrain from referring to the games they discuss, onlyreference some specific games, cite them as something special and deviant from othersources, refer to them in accordance with other sources or refer to games with regard totheir unique properties as a reference. For the reference librarian working with issuesrelating to game studies the diverse reference practices among game scholars pose aspecific challenge. A challenge that partly can be overcome by knowing how gamescholars frame games and how these frameworks are in conflict with the ways librariansframe and classify sources due their physical properties..

Syftet med vår fallstudie var att undersöka om läraren arbetar med multimodala uttryckssätt, såsom bild, musik, drama, teater, IKT, spel, film och CD i sin undervisning och till omfattning. Vilka utryckssätt som genomsyrar undervisningen samt vilka som utelämnas.Metodvalet som användes för vår undersökning var observationer vilket gjordes under två hela dagar respektive en heldag och två halvdagar. De som observerades var två grundskollärare i årskurs 3 respektive årskurs 4, läraren för årskurs 3 kallar vi för Lärare 1, hon arbetar på en mindre skola ute på landsbygden några mil utanför en storstad i mellersta Sverige. Den andra läraren som observerats kallar vi för Lärare 2, hon arbetar i årskurs 4 på en medelstor skola belägen i utkanten av den centrala delen i en storstad i mellersta Sverige.Observationerna gjordes utefter ett framtaget observationsprotokoll (bilaga 3) där de olika mutlimodala uttrycksformerna bearbetades och sedan analyserades. Slutsatsen var att de båda lärarna tillämpade olika multimodala uttrycksformer i sin undervisning under vår tid som observatörer.

Sweden has a long tradition as a mapmaking nation. Tens of thousands of historical maps,dating from the sixteenth century and onwards are still preserved in archives today, providinga rich resource for studies of city growth and changes in the landscape through time. For morethan ten years an effort has been made by public authorities to transfer this material frompaper onto digital media. Due to modern technology, as for example GeographicalInformation Systems (GIS), researchers have been given improved possibilities to study andanalyze this material. This study uses a qualitative approach, based on both literature studiesas well as map studies.

My problem comes out of the bigger question ?why the Catholic church is featured in horror films whenever a religious organization is in one?? I have detected in the horror films that I've seen that when a religious organization is in a horror movie it's the Catholic church that gets to act as church and religion. I have chosen the following problem: How is the Catholic church presented in the horror movies The Exorcist and The Rite, and how can one understand these presentations from a role theoretic perspective?Since role theory has it's background in the world of the theater with it's actors and roles, it came naturally to use role theory, and specifically Goffmans dramatic model. I've used this model in a film analysis of the movies.
