This thesis examines the Swedish labour market with a focus on the immigrant part off the population. There are big differences between the immigrant and particular non-European immigrant part off the population and native Swedes. In the first part off this thesis I will show that immigrants in Sweden have a higher rate of unemployment, lower rate off employment, lower wage incomes, higher risk off unemployment and are overrepresented in low skilled, low status jobs. Even when controlling for different factors such as education level, knowledge in the Swedish language, age etc. a big gap remains.

A film can attract all kinds of emotions and moods of the audience through its audiovisual communications and cinematic expression, in which music plays a significant role in both understanding and interpretation of film content.It is interesting to explore the musical significance and the emotional aspect of the film out of a media and communications perspective and visual communications perspective because it?s a subject that belongs to the communications of scientific discipline as film is a media text which is working both as communicative and as audio-visual medium with its expressive aspects.The purpose of this bachelor?s paper is to increase and deepen the understanding of music's function and significant role in context with its reinforcing sense of visual expression in film. More specifically, it aims to explore the musical value of the expressive aspect of the media text in form of film musical Les Misérables (2012), which has been transmedialised from the novel of the same name, referring to the sound, music and song in relation to the film's visual expression.The research questions are at the core of the essay study: "how is music used to reinforce the cinematic visual expression?" and "how can music signify the narrative and highlight the emotional aspect of the film?" The theoretical framework is based on some of the key scholars assumptions such as Michel Chion (1994) and Claudia Gorbman (1987), who share the same theoretical views that the soundtrack seems powerful when it expresses its participation in a scene?s emotional moods as the music follows the scene?s rhythm, the image?s flow and contributes emotional and musical codes of emotions and expressions. According to Chion sound and image interact together to tell a story where sound enrich the image with expressive and informative values.

Jag har gjort en studie av fyra lektionsplaneringar som rör spelfilmfilm i historieundervisningen. Syftet har varit att ta reda på hur spelfilm används i historieundervisningen. Film är en stor källa till historieförmedling. Genom att se hur filmen används i skolan vill jag ta reda på hur man dessa båda historiekulturer samverkar. Jag utgår från historiemedvetande och historiebruk när jag gör min analys och bygger min teori.

Mitt projekt är en film i 3d med en skräckfylld underton som utspelas genom en fiktiv persons ögon där färden går genom en skog fram till vad som ser ut att vara en nedlagd fabrik. Men där tystheten från början råder visar sig både det ena och det andra utav märkligheter uppstå! Effekterna för den mörka upplevelsen är prioriterad framför en begriplig handling, och därför finns inga övertydliga budskap som underskattar betraktarens egna slutsatser av filmen. Filmen är ett experiment med 3d, postproduktion och ljud som visar en blandning av konkreta spänningsmoment och en morbid känsla av rå död!.

I både film och spel används ljudeffekter till att berätta för lyssnaren om vad som pågår, både för det som syns i bild och utanför. Karaktärer i film och spel brukar vara ljud-lagda med ljudeffekter som t.ex. ljudet från fotsteg. För att etablera miljön i film och spel används en ljudsort som kallas för miljöljud och dessa ljud används även för att skapa stämning. Detta arbete har undersökt om det är möjligt att tydligt framhäva en karaktärsarketyp med hjälp av ljudeffekter och miljöljud utan bild.

Every year, reports are published that shows how universities fail to meet the demand from companies who are looking to hire students with solid communication skills. At the same time, the importance of communication for effective leadership is constantly increasing. Today, many business schools around the world states that they strive to educate future business leaders and have therefore realized the importance of teaching the skills of communications to its students. The majority of Swedish business schools, however, have not yet made communications an essential part of their curricula. This indicates that most business students in Sweden today, do not receive the toolkit needed to take on leadership roles.

This essays aim is to investigate the possibilities of subjective interpretation of Lgr11, the Swedish curriculum for elementary school. The assignment that the Swedish authority Skolverket got in 2009, was to create a curriculum that would grant that the students achievements would not be influenced by any subjective opinions and that all elementary schools in Sweden will give an equivalent education. In the Government bill this is a theme throughout the text and the Minister of Education has also claimed that this document will leave very limited space for subjective reading and interpretation. He says that Lgr11, in contrast to the previous curriculim Lpo94, will clarify what the purpose of the different subjects is and on what grounds the assessment of the students should be based.The method used is the literary theories of reader ? response as they are expressed by Literarycriticist Stanley Fish.

Datorgrafiken har på senare år utvecklats till en dominerande produktionsmetod inom många områden som till exempel film, spel, simulationer och visualisering. Många söker sig till grafikutbildningar i hopp om att få anställning främst inom film- eller spelindustrin. Det är en växande industri, men konkurrensen är hård och anställningskraven höga och många har svårt att etablera sig i branschen. Detta examensarbete ger via enkätundersökningar och litteratur i ämnet bilden av en bransch där det råder överskott på arbetskraft och underskott på lediga arbeten. För att förbättra konkurrensförmågan föreslås interdisciplinära utbildningar som blandar konst och teknik samt ökad specialisering, hårdare studiekrav och ökat samarbete mellan skola och företag..

Abstract This research is about outdoor education as a pedagogical method, and its purpose is to find out six teachers thoughts about outdoor learning, and their experiences about this method.Many philosophers and advocates for the outdoor education claims that learning is best acquired when children uses all their senses and that school subjects that are thought in the classrooms also can be thought outdoors.  Studies have shown that children´s health and learning ability increase when they are thought outdoors.Interviews and observations have been done.My questions are: How do the teachers practice outdoor education in their classes and what is the result? Which subjects do they use in outdoor education? The aim of this Master thesis is to examine the institutionalization of Library- and Information Science in Sweden. I focus on the period 1978-1991, and pay special attention to the development of the discipline at the University College of Borås. My main method of investigation has been analysis of printed sources. After a brief description of the discipline and its history internationally, I describe how research and graduate education in Library- and Information Science developed in Sweden during the 20^th century. A major part of the thesis is an analysis of three reports from the chosen time period which are all, with slightly different prerequisites, trying to find a solution to the problem of how to establish Library- and Information Science as an academic discipline in Sweden.

This thesis deals with the question of how and to what degree Swedish history books for schools changed between the early 20th century and the 1960s. The theoretical foundation for this study is a perspective which treats historical accounts as narratives, bringing meaning and orientation to the present. According to this perspective, historical accounts may be divided into four different types of narratives, traditional, exemplary, critical and genetical. The basis for this division is how the narratives use the past to make the present understandable.The following conclusions are reached:That Swedish history books for schools have changed less, and in a moore gradual way than those dealing with general history. There is a growing use of genetical narratives at the expense of mainly exemplary ones.

I denna rapport redogör jag för det praktiska examensarbete jag genomförde under vårterminen 2015. Jag har studerat antidrog och -alkoholkampanjer under 70-80-tal, kampanjen ?Det finns många anledningar att inte testa knark? samt kampanjen ?Langarmytologi? som lanserades våren 2015. Mitt fokus har legat på att undersöka film som medium när det gäller antidrog och -alkoholkampanjer. Varför används just detta medium så ofta? Fungerar skräckpropaganda eller är humor det smartaste tillvägagångssättet? Jag har producerat tre korta filmer i programmen Adobe Premiere Pro samt After Effects där jag visualiserat det jag kommit fram till i mina studier. .

In the informational age of today, continuous learning is of greatest importance. The demand for this seems to be increasing, while at the same time people are under more pressure to carry out more tasks in shorter amounts of time. A way to solve the problem of finding time to learn could be to make use of the possibilities that Internet offers for learning at a distance. The purpose of this thesis is to, from a pedagogical perspective, contribute to the discussion concerning Internet based distance education for a target population consisting of professionals. We have found that some of the courses included in the two certification programs which we have investigated are suitable for Internet based distance education.

Syftet med den ha?r studien a?r att underso?ka huruvida ljud och musik pa?verkar det narrativa bera?ttandet i film. Som utga?ngspunkt har jag valt att go?ra en adaptionsanalys av Trainspotting (Welsh, 1993) samt (Boyle, 1996) fo?r att pa? sa? sa?tt kunna se skillnader och likheter i fo?rekomsten av ljud och musik i ba?de film och bok.Studien visade att ba?de ljud och musik har spelat en betydande roll fo?r upplevelsen av filmen. Genom att anva?nda sig av ljud och musik pa? ett sa?tt som skiljer sig fra?n boken har filmen lyckats att portra?ttera och skildra den historia som boken bera?ttar i ett helt annat medium. .

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka på vilket sätt Jesus beskrivs på film. Mer specifikt är syftet att beskriva hur Jesus gudomliga och mänskliga egenskaper gestaltas i fyra olika filmer. Film är ett växande medium och det är också ett medium för att behandla livsåskådning, både explicit och implicit. Det kristologiska grundproblemet kring Jesus natur aktualiseras på film ibland utifrån en teologisk medvetenhet, men ibland också omedvetet. Syftet med denna studie är alltså att undersöka hur Jesus gudomliga och mänskliga natur gestaltas på film.
