Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka på vilket sätt Jesus beskrivs på film. Mer specifikt är syftet att beskriva hur Jesus gudomliga och mänskliga egenskaper gestaltas i fyra olika filmer. Film är ett växande medium och det är också ett medium för att behandla livsåskådning, både explicit och implicit. Det kristologiska grundproblemet kring Jesus natur aktualiseras på film ibland utifrån en teologisk medvetenhet, men ibland också omedvetet. Syftet med denna studie är alltså att undersöka hur Jesus gudomliga och mänskliga natur gestaltas på film.

This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

I denna uppsats studeras placeringen av svenska filmproduktionsbolag. Eftersom majoriteten av de svenska filmproduktionsbolagen förlagt sig i Stockholm, trots att hälften av all svensk långfilm produceras i Västra Götalandsregionen, studeras de olika spatiala förutsättningarna för filmproduktionsbolag förlagda på dessa båda platser. Den övergripande frågeställningen rör varför majoriteten av svenska filmproduktionsbolag är placerade i Stockholm. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom intervjuer med filmproduktionsbolag, filmföretag och samproducenten Film Väst. Baserat på klusterteorier kring lokalt surr, globala pipelines och temporära kluster, har materialet analyserats.

Gestaltningen av Nord Amerikas indianer på film under tre epoker Syftet med denna uppsats var att skapa en djupare förståelse för gestaltningen av Nord Amerikas indianer ur ett etniskt perspektiv. Uppsatsen speglar tre olika epoker, nämligen västern eran, 1970-talet och 1990-talet, men med en tonvikt på hur klassiska stereotyper gestaltas och om det finns några befintliga undantag. Med hjälp av en analysmall har jag analyserat sex olika filmer, två från varje epok för att finna likheter och skillnader i gestaltningen av Nord Amerikas indianer i så kallad Hollywood film. På så sätt har jag funnit hur tiden luckrat upp dessa stereotyper till stor del men att de fortfarande finns kvar men med mer genomtänkta och komplexa relationer sedan västern erans storhets tid. Men även att det finns ytterst få undantag från de stereotypa idealen och att faktorer som brist på översättning av indianspråk fortfarande distanserar åskådaren från att känna engagemang och empati får indianer som individer..

Syftet med studien var att beskriva vad forskningsresultat visar angående avledande strategier samt avledningens effekt på barns upplevelse av smärta, rädsla och ångest/oro vid venpunktion. Metoden var en beskrivande litteraturstudie baserad på 12 vetenskapligt granskade artiklar som utmynnade i två kategorier med underkategorier. Resultatet visade att avledning vid venpunktion är en viktig del i omvårdnaden av barn och att den avledande strategin bör anpassas efter barnets önskemål så långt det är möjligt för venpunktionens tekniska utförande. Avledande strategier som minskade barnens smärta, rädsla och ångest/oro vid venpunktion var; en sittande ställning för barnet, avledande samtal från föräldern, att få barnet att koncentrera sig på olika bilder, titta på animerad film eller titta i kalejdoskop. Slutsats Det är viktigt att sjuksköterskan har kunskap om vilka avledande strategier som enligt forskning är användbara vid venpunktion på barn och som i sin tur inbringar förmåga att minska barnets upplevelse av smärta, rädsla och ångest/oro i samband med proceduren.

Filmbolaget Pixar har under de senaste femton åren legat först med att producera datoranimerad film. Bakom utvecklingen av den animerade filmen finns en tro på att kunna förändra. Jag vill i min uppsats se om idéer som dessa framträder i filmerna. Som utgångspunkt har jag använt Karin Johannissons bok Nostalgia, där begrepp såsom nostalgi och modernitet diskuteras. Dessa begrepp har jag sedan använt i min undersökning.

This study is a qualitative content analysis which sets out to examine the representation of stereotypic masculine traits amongst the main characters in two films from The Swedish Institute of Film's (Svenska Filminstitutets) selection for ?School Cinema? (Skolbio). The study is operationalised through the use of a scheme, constructed by Lorraine Evans and Kimberly Davies for their study No sissy boys here, which maps stereotypical masculine and feminine traits and originates from Sandra Lipsitz Bems ?Sex Role Inventory?. The masculine traits in the scheme are: aggressive, competitive, argumentative, decisive, assertive, risk-taking, self-reliant and adventurous, and the feminine are: affectionate, emotionally expressive, impetuous, nurturing, panicky, passive, tender, and understanding.

A film can attract all kinds of emotions and moods of the audience through its audiovisual communications and cinematic expression, in which music plays a significant role in both understanding and interpretation of film content.It is interesting to explore the musical significance and the emotional aspect of the film out of a media and communications perspective and visual communications perspective because it?s a subject that belongs to the communications of scientific discipline as film is a media text which is working both as communicative and as audio-visual medium with its expressive aspects.The purpose of this bachelor?s paper is to increase and deepen the understanding of music's function and significant role in context with its reinforcing sense of visual expression in film. More specifically, it aims to explore the musical value of the expressive aspect of the media text in form of film musical Les Misérables (2012), which has been transmedialised from the novel of the same name, referring to the sound, music and song in relation to the film's visual expression.The research questions are at the core of the essay study: "how is music used to reinforce the cinematic visual expression?" and "how can music signify the narrative and highlight the emotional aspect of the film?" The theoretical framework is based on some of the key scholars assumptions such as Michel Chion (1994) and Claudia Gorbman (1987), who share the same theoretical views that the soundtrack seems powerful when it expresses its participation in a scene?s emotional moods as the music follows the scene?s rhythm, the image?s flow and contributes emotional and musical codes of emotions and expressions. According to Chion sound and image interact together to tell a story where sound enrich the image with expressive and informative values.

Detta examensarbete handlar ?Verklighetstrogen Effektskomposition?. Målet med arbetet är att undersöka och utnyttja alla de olika aspekterna som gör att en film med specialeffekter känns så verklighetstrogen som möjligt. Arbetet handlar om de olika delarna i en filmproduktionsfas så som pre-production,production och post-production. Filmen som skapas är en specialeffektsbaserad hemmavideo som har som syfte att vara så chockande som möjligt i förhållande till vad man förväntar sig när man börjar kolla.

I kursplanen för ämnet svenska finns det relativt nya vidgade textbegreppet, vilket innebär att text inte längre innefattas av tryckt text utan även kan vara bild, film, teater etcetera. Denna studie tar sin utgångspunkt i film som text. Syftet med undersökningen är att studera huruvida film som text kan likställas med den litterära texten i svenskundervisningen eller om filmmediet fortfarande, som forskningen benämner det, anses vara av låg status. I forskningsbakgrunden problematiseras filmens roll i svenskundervisningen och förslag på ytterligare bearbetningsmöjligheter angående film som text ges. Undersökningen grundar sig på intervjuer med tre gymnasielärare samt enkätundersökningar med respektive lärares elever, vilka läser kursen Svenska B.

Abstract: In this study, I have searched for answers to whether teachers use pictures in their teaching with the purpose of making education easier. Can we use the pictures with a pedagogic purpose? In this study, I have interviewed middle-school teachers concerning this subject.My results show that teachers actually use pictures in order to make the education easier for pupils but they do not do it very often. They think that they do not have the time to look for the good pictures that go with their subject and that they can show in the classroom. They also think that the pictures in the textbooks are good enough and they do not discuss the pictures very much.
