Purpose: The purpose of the essay is to result in recommendations for how non-profit organizations work with signing new and keeping existing donors can be improved.Methology: The thesis has a hermeneutic view. It does not have the intention to lead to generalizations, although the result could lead to new knowledge, increased  understanding and deepened insight based on well thought-out interpretations. Furthermore, the thesis has a deductive approach. The research method is qualitative and the objectivity has been sustained by not enter personal values and views until the discussion section. It is a case study and semi-structured interviews have been done with two non-profit organizations, two individual donors and three donating/sponsoring companies.Theoretical perspective: The essay proceed from theories in development, fundraising, communication and customer relations.

Syftet med den föreliggande litteraturstudien var att beskriva kvinnors respektive mäns livskvalitet efter insjuknande i hjärtinfarkt och de copingstrategier som användes i hanteringen av vardagen. En deskriptiv litteraturstudie genomfördes utifrån sex kvalitativa samt åtta kvantitativa studier med övervägande delen hög kvalitet. Publikationsåren för de inkluderade artiklarna var mellan 2000 och 2010. Artikelsökningen genomfördes i databaserna MedLine (PubMed) samt Cinahl med följande sökord: Hjärtinfarkt, anpassning, psykologisk, livskvalitet och coping. Sammanfattningsvis var vanligt förekommande problem under den första tiden efter insjuknande i hjärtinfarkt fysiska symtom och emotionell utmattning där tillfredsställande behandling och god sjukdomsinsikt kunde leda till välbefinnande.

This report is the written documentation of a project work carried out at the Division of Engineering Materials at Luleå University of Technology in cooperation with Seco Tools AB. The project deals with the analysis of residual stresses in Ti-Al-N thin film grown on WC/Co cutting inserts. The composition of Al varied from 0% up to 75%. Increasing the Al content in the Ti(1-x)Alx N compound improves the compressive residual stresses even after annealing of the material. The experiments have been performed in a high temperature x-ray diffractometer (HTXRD) where the interplanar atomic spacing was determined in-situ and subsequent converted into stresses.

Background: Today, It?s not uncommon that international companies and organizations have a higher turnover than the GDP of developing countries. Consequently, this may suggest that the choices companies make in the context of their business has a great potential to influence the world from an economic, but also from a social and environmental standpoint. From this the notion emerged that companies have a responsibility, referred to as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). A clear definition of the CSR concept is difficult to find, more than 37 different definitions has been identified.

A survey was undertaken to understand sheep management, breeding practices and selection criteria for Red Maasai sheep in Maasai pastoralist communities in Kajiado District, Kenya. Differences between North and South Kajiado District were investigated to gain knowledge about farmers having different prerequisites and how it can affect the sheep production. The reason for keeping sheep and the specific breeds show the multiple objectives of the Maasai farmers. Adaptive traits, such as resistance to diseases and droughts, and productive traits, such as increased growth and carcass weight, were both ranked highly. In addition to this, the sheep has a social and traditional value in Maasai culture.

Vi utsätts dagligen för en mängd bilder då vi lever i ett bildsamhälle med TV, film, reklam, tidningar och böcker. Att dagens samhälle präglas av bilder gör det viktigt för skolan och undervisningen att aktivt förhålla sig till bildmediet. Arbetets övergripande syfte är att öka förståelsen för hur barns tankar kan synliggöras genom deras egenproducerade bilder. Vi har valt bildanalys som metod för att utifrån vår problemprecisering undersöka: Hur kan bildanalys användas för att synliggöra barns tankar om ilska? Hur använder sig barn av kulturella verktyg för att förstärka budskapet i sina bilder? De sju eleverna i undersökningen fick frågan: Vad tänker du på när du är arg? Rita och berätta!Resultatet av undersökningen tyder på att det går att synliggöra barns tankar med bildanalys genom en kombination av samtal och att barnen ritar.

The essay is an effort to examine and define three examples of liminal dance performances through an aesthetic, hermeneutic and semiotic analysis. The examples are three dance or liminal performances, made by three different choreographers and performed at ?Moderna Dansteatern? and ?Dansens Hus? in Stockholm during September and October 2005. In the effort to determine the liminal and cross-over in the performances, the analysis focus on aspects such as: the character of the work, choreography, the use of scenery, stage light, requisites, conception of place and interior room, the use of costume and mask, the use of different media as text, pictures, film, and music or not using any these, and the interaction with the audience. The analysis depends on a historical background and the use of literature in the subject.

The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of how teachers and other people working with mathematics in a school context perceive inclusion in terms of education. In addition,the purpose is to describe their experiences of inclusive education in mathematics and to identify factors of importance for an inclusive approach to teaching mathematics. The starting point was the significance of inclusive education as regards the education system and research on the implementation of inclusive education internationally and in Sweden. The theoretical approach is founded in a special education perspective on teaching and the theory of optimal experience. The people interviewed for this study are directly or indirectly involved in the teaching of mathematicsat a school that explicitly works from an inclusive perspective.

Visualisering har länge använts för att presentera information, och med 3D-programvarors utvecklande har digitalt prototypskapande, både för byggnader och mindre objekt, växt fram. Syftet med denna studie var att finna den bästa metoden för att skapa en 3D-visualisering av stiftelsen Rapatacs nyöppnade aktivitetscenter för ungdomar, på Nordost i Gävle. Först genomfördes en litteraturstudie för att ta reda på vad som är god praxis inom designvisualisering i 3D, därefter samlades referensmaterial in för att utifrån detta producera en 3D-modell. Tre olika grafiska uttryck; fotorealistisk, skissartad och cartoon, skapades för att genomföra en enkätundersökning bland Gävles ungdomar om vilket grafiskt uttryck som de tyckte var mest tilldragande. 193 ungdomar tillfrågades och resultatet visade att det fotorealistiska uttrycket tilltalade ungdomarna mest.

Detta examensarbete är utfört vid Avdelningen för datorstödd maskinkonstruktion, Luleå tekniska univeritet, på uppdrag av SwedPower AB. SwedPower AB är ett konsultföretag inom energisektorn och företaget är helägt av Vattenfall. Företaget finns representerat i stora delar av världen, med över 500 anställda inom energi och kraftsektorn. I arbetet har ett visualiseringsverktyg för rotordynamiska beräkningar utvecklats i CAE-programmet I-DEAS. Ett makro har skrivits som läser in geometri och förskjutningar i en rotorsträng, ritar upp rotorsträngen och producerar bilder på förskjutningarna.

Denna uppsats syftar till att försöka reda ut om det från några pedagogers sida finns enavsikt med att visa spelfilm i skolan för sina elever och om deras elever uppfattar dennatänkta avsikt. Uppsatsen är i mångt och mycket teoriprövande. De teorier vi använder ossav är fenomenografin som ger oss en grund att stå på ifråga om erfarande, variationsteorinsmetodologiska tillvägagångsätt fungerar som en modell för genomförandet av undersökningen och verksamhetsteorin lär oss hur institutionella traditioner och koder kan påverka sättet individer erfar ett fenomen. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod och med hjälp av djupintervjuer har vi intervjuat lärare och elever. Resultaten i vår uppsats pekar påatt det fanns en avsikt med att visa spelfilm för eleverna.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka emotionella omvårdnadsbehov patienterna hade innan operation och hur sjuksköterskan på bästa sätt kunde lindra dem. Metoden var en litteraturstudie baserad på vetenskapliga artiklar med dels en kvalitativ ansats (n= 5) och dels en kvantitativ (n= 10). Artikelsökningarna gjordes via sökmotorn ELIN och databaserna CINAHL och PubMED. Artiklarna var etiskt godkända samt publicerade mellan 2000-2010 och skrivna på engelska. De granskades med hjälp av granskningsmallar.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka problematiseringen av välfärdssamhället och droger i dokumentärserien ?Modstrilogin? (1968- 79- 93) och tv-serien ?Upp till Kamp!? (2007). De teoretiska utgångspunkterna behandlar litteraturen kring mods, drogerna och den politiska tidsandan, av olika författare men främst Kim Salomon, Ted Goldberg, Urban Nilmander & Kenneth Ahlborn samt Stefan Koch. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna bidrar till att finna kritik mot välfärdssamhället i filmerna och därefter påvisas i analys, och då med hjälp av kritisk teori och en hermeneutisk metod. Det filmiska rummet ses som ett socialt rum.

Objective: The study will identify where conflicts between SMEs and the Annual ReportsAct exists to find out if there is a need for adaptation of Swedish accounting to achieveinternational comparability.Method: A descriptive method was used to make the regulations in IFRS for SMEs and ÅRLequivalent and to observe the differences between the regulations a comparative method wasused. After this the conflicts could be sorted out with the help of the former so called ?IASinvestigation?.The conflicts and differences then were categorized into the approach theyrelated to, withFrame of reference: The frame for the study is recognition and valuation for collecting andanalysing the data. The approaches are presented for the balance sheet and income statementapproaches as they form the basis for analysis. Annual Reports Act, the EG-directives and theK3-projects are described as they have a central role in the background to the study andfurther understanding of the data.

The purpose of this Bachelors thesis is to investigate teachers' work and attitude to life in relation to the curriculum. Furthermore, how teachers look at students' emotional/social development in their general development. The thesis also reviews the criticism from The Swedish School of Authority on various programs primarily SET (social and emotional training)Three qualitative interviews and four observations at three different schools with teachers have been conducted. Using theories of social constructivism, deliberative conversation and social and emotional skills, the intention is to interpret the gathered material.The results show that the teachers see knowledge of life in school as important in the foundation of students´ emotional/social development. One teacher follows the SET program and two teachers? took inspiration from various other programs and ideas.
