Under första hälften av 2000-talet blev det aktuellt för svenska flygvapnet att öva för att utföraflygunderstöd till markförband, bl.a. genom skapande av ett s.k. ?accelerationsspår CAS?. Det harframkommit att utförande av CAS i den konflikt som för närvarande pågår i Afghanistan har tidvishaft svårt att förhålla sig till folkrätten på ett positivt sätt.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningar Det primära syftet med denna studie är att belysa hur piloter upplever att kommunikationen i cockpit påverkas av trötthet. Vårt sekundära syfte är att ge exempel på vad piloterna gör för att motverka trötthet under arbetet. Hur påverkas piloternas kommunikationsförmåga under trötthet? Hur påverkas kommunikationen mellan piloterna under trötthet?Vilka strategier använder piloterna för att minska tröttheten under flygningar; både förebyggande, livsstilsrelaterade strategier samt direkta åtgärder? Metod För att få en nyanserad bild av hur piloterna upplever att tröttheten påverkar kommunika-tionen dem emellan samt vilka strategier de använder sig av för att minska tröttheten under flygningen ansågs en kvalitativ ansats med semistrukturerade intervjuer vara den lämpligaste datainsamlingsmetoden. Sex intervjuer med manliga piloter mellan 31 och 37 år genom-fördes.Resultat Studiens resultat följer det nuvarande forskningsläget. Samtliga piloter upplevde att tröttheten hade en negativ inverkan på kommunikationsförmågan samt kommunikationen dem emellan.

Background: Media has for a long time been reporting about the audit industry, often focusing on so-called auditing scandals. Economic journalism has grown stronger, the corporations are given more and more power in society and the public interest is increasing. We intend to examine how mass media affects the expectations gap and how the auditing firms operate strengthening the society?s confidence in the industry after mass medial exploitation. We also want to investigate whether the relatively new phenomenon social media is affecting the auditing firms and industry?s external communication, as well as what consequences negative publicity may have for the individual auditor.Aim: The aim of the study is to create an understanding of the audit industry?s relation to the media as well as to describe and analyze how mass media?s coverage is affecting the audit industry, auditing firms as well as the individual auditor.

Detta examensarbete behandlar elektroniska transaktioner, i huvudsak betalningar över Internet med tonvikt på säkerhet. Vidare behandlas också frågor kring vilka kriterier en betalningstransaktion bör uppfylla för att anses juridiskt bindande. Examensarbetet riktar sig till en publik som redan tillgodosett sig baskunskaper i ekonomi och data.Resultatet av undersökningen vilar på en kombination av telefonintervjuer och litteraturstudier. Personer som intervjuats är: Christian Wettergren ?forskare på KTH, Hans Öjemark -verksjurist på Post och telestyrelsen, Lars Lindgren ?jurist på Handelsbanken och Mats Thunander ?projektledare för Handelsbankens SET-pilot.Kriterierna som bör uppfyllas för att en betalningstransaktion vid handel över Internet skall anses säker är enligt vad som framkom i min undersökning att transaktionen skall vara atomär, konsekvent, isolerad, bestående, skyddad mot insyn, inte kunna ändras utan upptäckt, klara autenticitetskontroll och inte vara reproducerbar.Kriterierna för att en betalningstransaktion vid handel över Internet skall anses juridiskt bindande är enligt vad som framkom i min undersökning att inblandade parter är väl identifierade t.ex.

Flere undersøkelser har vist en generellt forverret helse blant ungdommer. Mange ungdommer slutter med idrett i 15-17 års alderen og studier har vist at mindre enn halvparten av ungdommer i den svenske grunn- og videregående skole var fysisk aktiv innen idrett og 15 % hverken aktiv innen idrett eller på annen måte. Det blir da viktig å skaffe seg kunnskaper om hvordan vi kan få igang flere barn og unge, også utenfor skolen. I barndomsårene er foreldrenes påvirkningskraft stor på flere områder, det hører da også med å undersøke hvilken rolle foreldrene spiller i ungdomsårene/tenårene. Hensikten med studien var å kartlegge ungdommer i 15-16 års alderens opplevelse av hvilken betydning ulike personer i deres omgivelser hadde for deres utøvelse av fysisk aktivitet og da spesielt hvilken rolle foreldrene spilte.

During year 2004 Ålö AB made significant change in their production process. The production of front loaders is nowadays highly automated with short operation times. To be able to control their process in a better way Ålö recently decided that they needed a tool for simulation of their production and to shift patterns. This final thesis started with a pilot study in Ålö?s factory in Brännland.

Background and problem discussion: Sustainability reporting has recently risen in importance and a rising number of companies choose to issue voluntary stand-alone sustainability reports. Their non-regulated nature increases the opportunity for management to angle the information in these disclosures to their own advantage. Lately the focus has shifted from examining what kind of information is provided in environmental disclosures, to analyzing how the information is presented.Purpose: The purpose is to examine if managers in the energy sector use optimistic tone when issuing sustainability reports. The aim is to find out if the tone applied in environmental disclosures is in congruence with either the environmental or economic performance or if an excessively positive tone is being used to mislead readers.Limitations: This study is limited to information found in environmental disclosures from private companies in the energy sector, issued in 2012 or 2013. Environmental performance is defined as the amount of CO2e emissions and economic performance refers to annual company revenues.Methodology: The quantification of optimistic tone is conducted using a content analysis, relying on a pre-specified wordlist and a pilot study.

Populärkulturella fenomen når ut till ett stort antal människor och representationen av olikasaker blir således viktig eftersom det kan avspegla hur människor uppfattarolika ting. Syftet med min uppsats är att undersöka representationen av de trekvinnliga karaktärerna, Jules, Ellie och Laurie, i tv-serien Cougar Town. De teoretiska begreppsom står till grund för min analys är bland annat, representation somdefinieras i boken Genus, medier ochmasskultur skriven av Linda Fagerström och Maria Nilson och som AnjaHirdman också behandlar i sin avhandling Tilltalandebilder. Vidare har jag använt mig av begreppet postfeminism som både Karen Boyle (Massmedia and Society, 2005)och Karen Ross (Gendered Media, 2010) skriver om i sina böcker.För att undersökarepresentationen av de olika kvinnliga karaktärerna i tv-serien använder jagmig av Keith Selby och Ron Cowderys bok Howto study television. I deras bok finns olika steg att gå igenom för attkritiskt granska television, jag har vidare valt att fokusera på den narrativaoch konstruktionsanalysen med fokus på mise-enscène och den icke verbala kommunikationen samt klädkoderna.

The use of balanced scorecards have spread explosively throughout the world during the last decade. This management tool have become very common in a vide spread variety of organisations on all continents. Many balanced scorecard fails though and scorecard theorists often blame the identification- and implementation process as they claim that these lay the foundation for the use of the tool. As my literature study shows, academic research on the area is rare. Particularly the effect on the implementation process from organisational dynamics and organisational structures needs further research.

Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years in China. Written documents concerning veterinary acupuncture has been found dated around 650 B.C. Acupuncture has gained greater acceptance in the western world the last decades and many countries have established their own veterinary acupuncture organizations. Many studies report good results after acupuncture treatment and back pain in horses is considered a good indication for acupuncture treatment. In studies published, the results are subjectively evaluated. To get a qualitative, scientific evaluation of acupuncture treatment, objective measurements, control groups and statistical analysis are needed. This pilot study presents a case where acupuncture has been used for treatment in a horse that was diagnosed with back pain.

There is an irregularity in the interregional migration in Sweden. An increasing proportion ofthe population is drawn to the metropolitan areas, which creates problems for the smallermunicipalities and towns when their population declines. At the same time, our whole societyis faced with a great challenge: we need to redirect towards a sustainable development, wherethe environmental issues are discussed and dealt with to secure that all present and futuregenerations are given equal opportunities to live a good life.The aim of this study is to, focusing mainly on the environmental dimension of thesustainability concept, examine the attractivity of housing with sustainability claims. Toanswer this, three research questions were used:? Was the migration motive to reduce their environmental impact a part of the decision tomove, among migrants who had moved to housing with sustainability claims?? If the motive was a part of the decision, how much impact did it have compared to othermigration motives?? Which factors in housing aiming at sustainability are considered important by peopleliving in housing with sustainability claims?The research questions have been answered using quantitative data, gained in the form of selfadministeredquestionnaires which were distributed in four different residential areas withsustainability claims in the county of Västra Götaland, Sweden.

Today more and more companies are looking out to adopt a new generation intranet, a social intranet where all employees can engage to express themselves and share information. There are large expectations on these new services, which have the opportunity to create high business value if used actively and qualitatively. However, there is a large challenge in knowing how to best implement these services in an organization in order to achieve this. This paper has investigated how an implementation should be made by defining obstacles for the implementation and adoption, discussing how they could be overcome, investigating what incentives could be used to foster usage and finding common success factors for an implementation.By a qualitative research method, consisting of five case studies and two focus area interviews we found a number of steps that must be followed for an implementation to be successful. First the conditions of the organization must be investigated in order to see whether or not social tools are suitable.

To be able to provide the growing human population with food, the productivity of the animals as well as land use needs to be improved and intensified. Hence, understanding the behavior of animals is crucial both for animal welfare and productivity as well as the management of the cattle. There are many factors affecting the grazing behavior of cattle in tropical conditions, such as human-animal interactions, herd management, breed, season and temperature. The purpose of this study was to investigate the grazing behavior of two tropical cattle breeds, Ankole and Boran cattle. Kenyan Boran belongs to a zebu type of cattle and is preferred to many other breeds due to the higher productive and reproductive capacity and adaptability to tropical conditions.
