The French historian Marc Bloch is considered to be one of the masters of medieval history, particularly his creation Feudal Society has been an essential piece of work for everyone who desires a deeper understanding of the general feudal society. Bloch gives his readers a vivid and living picture of a society so far beyond our present that it is sometimes hard to keep in mind that this society is part of our legacy. At the same time Bloch endows his readers with the special historical outlook he and his successors has developed, the history of the mentalities. By reaching further back in time, to the Roman and Germanic cultures and the manorial system, he proves his point that the feudal society was build on the legacy of older structures and institutions.In the coming study I will disentangle the early feudal structure of power as Bloch has described it in his Feudal Society. The essence of this power structure is to find in the very characteristic tie between two men, the vassalage.

Större delen av 1800-talet framstår som en misslyckad beslutsprocess när det gäller skatte-politiken i Sverige. Eftersträvade förändringar av skattesystemet var en trögrörlig process med mycket motstånd mot att göra förändringar i vårt gamla Feodala skattesystem som hade anor från medeltiden. När 1800-talet börjar närma sig sitt slut stod plötsligt skattefrågorna högt upp på den politiska dagordningen. Arbetarna ville ha rösträtt och krävde att tullarna skulle avskaffas. Bönderna ville befrias från grundskatterna och de konservativa ville avskaffa in-delningsverket och ersätta den med en modern värnpliktsarmé.

This report discusses the IT archetypes "governance strategy" and how it could be linked to the IT benefits at the company. The study is based on IT investments that have taken place in ten banks operating in Sweden today, where the reality was modeled on the basis of a questionnaire survey and an additional interview. The aim was to examine whether it is possible to find any correlation between the governance in the banks and obtained benefits for an IT investments.While the competition is intensifying in most companies there is a greater demand for efficiency in IT. The need for IT solutions is greater than ever and the number of IT investments is increasing significantly in most workplaces today, especially on banks. But even if the investments are increasing in numbers it does not necessarily mean that all types of investments are effective and beneficial to the company.
