Purpose: The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how a bank?s features and internal factors have affected its choice of method in calculating the capital requirement.Theoretical and Empirical Method: The research strategy of this study has been of a qualitative nature with a deductive approach. The choice of method was depth interviews with respondents from a targeted sample of Swedish banks. These respondents were chosen based on the knowledge they possess as key employees in the capital requirement process and their involvement in choosing their banks? method for calculating the capital requirement.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate how employers? rights to give employees notice because of illness are regulated in Swedish working life. This essay consists of two parts. The first part is jurisprudential and based on traditional juristic method. The second part entails the discipline Sociology of Law and is based on a qualitative survey consisting of two interviews.

In order to optimize calf welfare and health it is important to know the behavior of cattle in free ranging conditions. To save space and minimize building cost it?s common that the farmers build calving pens for four of five cows especially at larger farms.

The artic fox is under threat of extermination in Europe. The population decreased strongly at the beginning of the twentieth century because of intensive hunting. The artic fox was placed under protection by law 1928 in Sweden but despite this the population has had difficultly to recover. This can depend on several reasons, but the main threats are shortage of food and competition from the red fox. Inledning: Trauma påverkar drömmar och dess bearbetningsförmåga av innehåll. En viktig punkt är att etiologin av PTSD anses vara en traumatisk upplevelse som kan leda till återkommande mardrömmar. Idag finns det många personer i samhället som lider av trauma och traumarelaterade problem vilket gör att utveckling av traumateorin får en central betydelse för att erbjuda bra behandlingsmetoder.Syftet med studien är att bidra med kunskap om hur traumatiska upplevelser bearbetas i drömmarna med fokus på affekter och interaktioner med andra människor som kan leda till vidareutveckling av psykodynamisk traumateori.Frågeställningar:? Vad finns det för skillnader i drömmarna mellan grupperna i avseende på affekter?? Vilka centrala teman förekommer i båda gruppernas drömmar och hur ser det ut i jämförelse mellan grupperna?Metod: Den metod som använts är en kombinerad kvantitativ och kvalitativ ansats där 60 drömmar från tidigare krigsveteraner studeras och jämförs i två grupper.Resultat: Studiens resultat visar traumats negativa effekter på affektregleringsförmåga och relationer. Det lyfter också fram drömmens betydelse som en ingång till det psykiska livet för att få inblick i hur traumatiska händelser och affekter hanteras, samt drömmandets funktion i affektreglering som är en viktig bearbetande faktor för trauma.Diskussion: Studiens resultat är i många avseenden i linje med tidigare forskning och teoribildning, men särskilt två aspekter av resultatet förtjänar att lyftas fram: Drömmen som en scen för det psykiska livet: 1.

Time studies in dairy production are an essential tool when deciding about level of mechanisation and automatisation both in investment situation and improving efficiency in existing operations. In previous investigations such studies have been carried out during normal barn conditions during winter. Since there is a compulsory to have dairy cows grazing 3 to 5 months during summer time in Sweden time studies during this season is important to have a full picture of needed working time. During grazing season time studies was carried out at 14 dairy farms representing herd sizes from 66 to 450 dairy cows of which 6 farms with AMS. 8 farms were the same as studied during winter season.

SammanfattningMiFID, direktiv om marknader för finansiella instrument är ett nytt europeiskt regelverk för den finansiella sektorn som träder i kraft den 1: a november 2007. Direktivet syftar till att förstärka konkurrenskraften för den finansiella sektorn, förbättra konsumentskyddet samt inkludera hela utbudet av finansiella tjänster och produkter. Då MiFID: s införlivande i svenska lag försenades fick de svenska värdepappersföretagen under 2007 en relativt kort tidsperiod på sig att anpassa sina verksamheter till de nya bestämmelserna. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka vilka svårigheter tre svenska värdepappersföretag erfarit vid arbetet med att anpassa deras verksamheter till de nya bestämmelserna i MiFID. Vi har studerat direktivet och jämfört med nuvarande regleringar samt genomfört fyra intervjuer, varav tre med svenska värdepappersföretag av varierande storlek.

Den nuvarande bostadshyresmarknaden i Stockholm är allt annat än välfungerande. Det låga utbudet av hyresrätter har bland annat resulterat i långa bostadsköer, en omfattande svart hyresmarknad och inlåsningseffekter. I skenet av denna illa fungerande hyresmarknad reser sig frågan om det inte är på tiden att reformera alternativt frångå det nuvarande bruksvärdesystemet, till förmån för en ny alternativ hyressättningsmodell. En modell som förhoppningsvis reducerar de negativa effekterna vi idag ser på hyresmarknaden.Rapporten har som utgångspunkt att beskriva dagens hyressystem samt redogöra för potentiella hyresmodeller. This dissertation aims to explore how an investment appraisal differs depending on if it is conducted by a municipal or a private real estate company. Municipal and private real estate companies are not performing on totally equal terms in the property market. A municipal company in Sweden has a public service mission. The construction sector is the area who employs mostposted workers among the 7400 employees who monthly enters the market. It?s alsothe sector where a big part of the work-related deaths occurs. The purpose of this studyis therefore to contribute to a greater understanding of the regulation regarding postedworkers, their work environment and the consequences of it.

The voltage level in the power grid varies due to variations in load and production. Normally these variations are manageable, but they may be excessively large during a disturbance. If the voltage is too high it may damage the equipment in the grid and too low voltages may cause problems like voltage instability. The magnitude of the voltage variation depends on the short circuit power capacity of the point of interest.This problem may become lore prominent due to automatic voltage regulation that acts on shunt reactors and shunt capacitors. When the shunt reactor is connected or disconnected to the grid it may cause such large changes in the voltage that the shunt reactor starts hunting.

Recent accounting scandals, often led by managers trying to improve results and thereby their own bonuses, have severely damaged the publics view of management. The Swedish code for Corporate Governance came into effect on July 1, 2005. The code requires all Swedish companies listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange (OMX A- and O-list), with a turnover exceeding 3 billion SEK, to disclose a report regarding Corporate Governance, attached to the annual report.The purpose of this paper is to examine whether the new disclosure required by the Swedish Corporate Governance code will have a measurable effect on stock prices. The authors have applied event study methodology examining daily returns around the announcement of the Corporate Governance reports.

The problem area was identified due to the fact that research within internal audit is fragmented and insufficient, simultaneously to internal audit becoming more common in the public debate. Crises and scandals in companies such as Enron in the US and Skandia in Sweden have resulted in new regulations regarding how companies should be governed. These regulations have been established in Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) in the US, and in Sweden the Swedish code for corporate governance will be implemented in 2005. The regulations imply that companies must provide sound internal control and to accomplish that, companies should have an auditing and consulting internal audit function. The Swedish code for corporate governance denotes that companies can decide to comply or explain why the code is not complied.
