Bakgrund: Hypertoni eller högt blodtryck är vår tids vanligaste folksjukdom då runt 1,8 miljoner svenskar har diagnos förhöjt blodtryck. Att många människor har liten kunskap om hur ett förhöjt blodtryck påverkas av kost, fysisk aktivitet, stress mm och hur detta ökar risken för att insjukna i hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar är genomgående i den forskning som finns idag. Samtidigt finns det lite forskning generellt och i synnerhet rörande kvinnor som belyser hur det är att lära sig leva och få ett bra liv trots sin sjukdom hypertoni.Syfte: Att belysa kvinnors upplevelse av att få diagnosen högt blodtryck.Metod: Intervjustudie med kvalitativ ansats baserad på semistrukturerade intervjuer med intervjuguide. Texterna analyserades enligt manifest innehållsanalys.Resultat: Av resultatet framkom att beskedet mottogs av kvinnorna med känslor som lättnad, rädsla och oro. Oron och rädslan handlade om vad som kunde ha drabbat kvinnorna innan och efter upptäckten av hypertonin i form av insjuknande i hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar.

Young people?s political influence has been surveyed, studied and discussed several times in Sweden during the last decade. There is a fear among the politicians that the young people are not interested in politics, especially not in party politics. On the other hand there is, among the youngsters a feeling of invisibility, not being seen or heard or for that sake respected. There are a lot of formal possibilities for young people?s political influence, but there are not as many real possibilities or situations to actually practice these possibilities.

Genom den rådande utvecklingen inom svensk rundvirkeförsörjning, som går mot större och färre produktionsanläggningar, blir medeltransportavståndet allt längre. Detta ökar behovet av järnvägstransporter av virke och förändrar därmed de andelar som bil- och järnvägstransporter utgör av den totala virkesförsörjningen. Ytterligare påverkan på transportval åstadkoms av varierande järnvägsnät och industriplacering i förhållande till detta. Syftet med denna studie var att utveckla en simuleringsmodell för att kartlägga effekterna av systemkonfiguration och omvärldsfaktorer på leveransprecision, lagernivåer och ledtider i massavedsförsörjning. Metoden som användes var objektorienterad händelsestyrd simulering i kombination med linjärprogrammering. Styrningslogiken som användes baserades på systemstatus och tog beslut om allokering av transportresurser genom justerad schemaläggning av tåg, anpassningar i biltransporternas totala kapacitet samt omstyrning av flöden mellan industrier. Två system användes, baserade på järnvägens struktur för norra respektive södra Sverige.

This thesis has two purposes: (1) to analyze the emptiness in Blodbok by Christine Falkenland, and (2) to analyze my own reading of the same book. I have chosen to focus on how emptiness is expressed through the body, the language and the place in Blodbok, because of the deep impact these seem to have on the emptiness. The thesis discusses what kind of emptiness that is described, what it does to me as a reader, and how it is connected to other works by Falkenland. Cultural politics of emotions by Sara Ahmed, Uses of literature by Rita Felski and Pouvoirs de l?horreur by Julia Kristeva together form the theoretical framework.Blodbok is a poetry collection, about the loss of a mother.

This master's thesis in Library and Information Science examines how the genre division of the horror fictionis constructed at the children and youth department of a library by studying subject headings of the titles.The aim is to examine what is included in the genre, in the two labelings called vampire and nail-biter/spine-chiller, what separates them, and what difference there is between children and youth thrillers/horror fiction. Also the cover designs and how readers portray these books are studied. The study is made in order to develop the knowledge of the genre to help librarians and borrowers. The great popularity of the genre among borrowers and people in general, and the importance of having knowledge of things that borrowers are interested in, are the motivation of performing the study. The method is a case study and conducted with and based on genre theory which shows how a genre is defined, how it can be divided and what conventions there are for the horror fiction in particular.

Background: Nespresso is a part of the Nestlé group and was founded in 1986, in the liaison of the revolutionary new method of brewing coffee. The idea was that everyone should be able to brew themselves a cup of espresso that would taste as if a professional barista had done it. Nespresso has now turned in to a new coffee culture. From the beginning Nespresso only sold their products via their club, Nespresso Club, but in year 2000 they opened their first store in Paris. The first store in Sweden opened year 2006 in Stockholm, followed by one in Malmö year 2012.

Bakgrund: Nästan vart fjärde barn i Sverige har idag en allergisjukdom med symtom. Att som barn få diagnosen födoämnesallergi har en påverkan på både barnets och hela familjens livskvalitet. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa hur en familjs livskvalitet kan påverkas då ett barn har födoämnesallergi. Metod: Studien baserades på sju vetenskapliga studier, både kvalitativa och kvantitativa. Resultat: Efter att ha granskat studierna framkom tre genomgående teman; upplevelser av oro och rädsla, upplevelser av bristande stöd och information och begränsningar och strategier i det dagliga livet.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att undersöka förekomst, hantering och upplevda orsaker till mentala blockeringar inom kvinnlig truppgymnastik på nationell ungdoms- och juniornivå.? Vilken typ av övning är den vanligaste mentala blockeringen inom kvinnlig truppgymnastik?? Hur visar sig blockeringarna enligt gymnasterna och tränarna?? Vilka orsaker till uppkomsten av mentala blockeringar kan utläsas utifrån gymnasterna och tränarnas berättelser?? På vilka sätt har gymnaster och tränare försökt hantera mentala blockeringar?MetodStudien inleddes med en litteratursökning för att finna tidigare forskning. Därefter utformades en enkät i två versioner (för tränare och gymnaster) och dessa delades ut till gymnaster och tränare på nationell ungdoms- och juniornivå i sex olika föreningar. Gymnasterna valdes efter tränings- och tävlingsnivå och har en medelålder på 14 år.ResultatResultatet visade att mentala blockeringar är ett mycket vanligt fenomen inom truppgymnastiken och något som majoriteten av gymnasterna någon gång drabbats av. Blockeringarna visar sig ofta genom att gymnasten vägrar eller helt utesluter övningen ur sin träning och blockeringarna är vanligast i grenen tumbling.

Syftet med denna studie var att belysa en gymnasieskolas stöd i ämnet svenska för talrädda elever, och detta gjordes genom intervjuer med fyra stycken lärare på gymnasienivå. Intresset grundade sig först och främst i det faktum att social fobi är ett vanligt problem bland ungdomar i Sverige och att det är i ungdomen som fobi för sociala sammanhang utvecklas. En del av social fobi är talrädsla, och gentemot vad läroplanen i svenska för gymnasieskolan säger om det muntliga språkets betydelse för människan och dennes utveckling, problematiserades den talrädda elevens förutsättningar för lärande och utveckling. Perspektiven som studien har utgått ifrån handlar inte om problematiken kring social fobi, utan om det demokratiska perspektivet och det faktum att gymnasieskolan vilar på en demokratisk grund, där alla elever bör få möjlighet att utveckla sin talförmåga och förmågan att våga göra sin röst hörd. Det sociokulturella perspektivet ligger också till grund för studien, där det muntliga språket, kommunikation, spelar en betydande roll för människans lärande och kunskapsutveckling, och i förståelse för sig själv och sin omvärld.

Intramuscular injections to cats can generate strong reactions in some individuals while reactions of the same extent, according to the author, not always are recognized when using the subcutaneous route. The reactions are probably caused by fear, stress and/or pain. When the injection can generate pain one has to take that into account, which can be a limitation in treatment. It is well known that injections generate pain, but knowledge about the cause and processes of the injection-associated pain is limited. This is mainly due to the difficulty in finding objects to study pain on, high cost of use of laboratory animals and difficulty to obtain objective measurements. Although there is evidence that there may be a local muscle injury by intramuscular injection, it is not always that the extent of damage is related to the pain experienced. Facts about the causes of injection-associated pain have been studied in a literature review.

Government regulations and customs duties restrict the import of trucks to some of the markets to which Scania tries to sell their trucks. The distribution problem due to these regulations is solved by the foreign assembly department, KD, at Scania. This means that competence is needed and costs are added not related to Scania's core operations.The aim of this master thesis has been to analyse and to evaluate alternative ways of managing the packing operations considering cost, quality and work organisation. To study and examine the work methods and operations of today and also to present methods measuring the operations effectiveness and productivity.We have used the system approach to maintain totality and to understand the component's relation to this totality. Field studies combined with studies of relevant literature and studies of other companies operations have given us the knowledge and the understanding of the packing operations needed.

The aim of the present thesis is to find deeper knowledge about women?s experiences of sexuality, desire and pleasure during childbirth. In this thesis there are statements of women?s different kinds of pleasurable and sexual feelings and experiences during birth. Furthermore, factors that may influence some women?s feelings and experiences of a sexual kind are discussed in relation to the common notion that women above all feel fear and pain when giving birth.
