Kantzoner mot vattendrag är av stor betydelse för att upprätthålla eller förbättra vattenkvaliteten i våra vattendrag. De strandnära zonerna fungerar som reservat i skogen med stor biologisk mångfald. De utgör barriärer för näringsämnen, löst organiskt kol, sediment, kvicksilver och andra miljögifter. Trädens rötter armerar jorden närmast vattendraget och minskar erosion och sedimentation. Syftet med detta arbete har varit att beskriva varför kantzoner bör användas och hur bredden på kantzonen, med hjälp av en modell i ArcMap, kan anpassas efter förhållandena runt vattendraget.

I denna studie har vi har valt att undersöka och analysera ett enskilt fast fashion-företag kring ämnet miljö och hållbarhet, nämligen Gina Tricot. Valet av företag grundar sig i intresset av att undersöka hur ett förhållandevis ungt fast fashion-företag engagerar sig inom miljö och hållbarhet. Denna uppsats skrivs med mål om att ge alla intresserade en inblick i hur ett växande modeföretag tänker kring mode kopplat till miljö och hållbarhet, och om deras målgrupp verkligen lägger vikt vid dessa aspekter när de handlar kläder. Syftet med studien är att granska hur och varför ett fast fashion-företag arbetar med och kommunicerar miljö och hållbarhet, samt undersöka hur kunderna uppfattar och påverkas av företagets arbete och kommunikation. Hur viktigt är hållbarhet för företaget och hur viktigt är det för deras målgrupp och kunder? Begreppen som behandlas, för att kunna besvara syftet i uppsatsen, är CSR och hållbarhet.

This study aims at norming a new objective method to track and measure jaw movements in 3D (three dimensional) during chewing in the young adult population (n=41, age 22-30). Norm values of the range of movements and the duration were calculated. Intra and inter rater reliability was high. Masticatory efficiency among participants was evaluated with a two-colored wax, analyzed with picture analysis software. Regression analysis was used to calculate the relationship between movement and duration variables and masticatory efficiency.

This paper is partially a literature study of human error and interruptions and partially an investigation of pilots and Air Traffic Control. The aim of the investigation was to find out where interruptions occur and how to reduce or eliminate them. The objective of this paper was to investigate what type of interruptions pilots and ATC deals with and during which phases they occur. The paper has revealed that private pilots causes more interruptions for ATC personnel than commercial pilots. The cause for this is probably the less experienced private pilot and the fact that Swedish is used before English by private pilots in communication with ATC.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningarStudiens syfte var att undersöka muskelaktiveringen i tre muskler (övre trapezius (ÖT), serratur anterior (SA) och nedre trapezius (NT)) under sex olika skulderstabiliserande övningar samt undersöka eventuella sidoskillnader. Syftet var även att undersöka om specifika skulderstabiliserande övningar i slyngor kunde öka aktiveringen i främst SA samtidigt som aktiveringen i ÖT minskar, hos friska individer, jämfört med nuvarande rekommenderade övningar på stabilit underlag. Aktiveras SA och NT mer vid slyngbaserade övningar än vid övningar på stabilt underlag? Visar studiens slyngövningar mindre aktivering i ÖT än övningar på fast underlag? Ses någon sidoskillnad mellan höger och vänster kroppshalva under utförandet av samtliga skulderstabiliserande övningar?MetodTio friska kvinnor (medelålder 36år) deltog i studien. An ethnographic study loosely informed by the theoretical framework of distributed cognition was carried out in order to describe how mariners have adopted the Automatic Identification System (AIS) in their work practice, or"made the technology their own". AIS is a transponder-based identification and communication system that allows ships to automatically identify and track each other. In addition to facilitating the identification and tracking of ships, objectives behind the introduction of AIS are to"simplify informational exchange", and"provide additional information to assist situation awareness". Participant observation and interviews were made at four different ships, as well as at two shore stations. A focus group was also held at a maritime conference.

IKEA HaparandaTornio employ some two-hundred people in its furniture retail store.Keeping track of staff statistics and employee information has previously been achievedthrough the use of a basic Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet. The store?s human resourcesdepartment requested an upgrade to this system with the hope of speeding up andsimplifying the administrative process, as well as to make it easier to monitor HR-relatedtarget statistics. The following report documents the development process of that upgrade ascarried out by the author. The project draws on research in usability design and cognitivepsychology to develop a user-friendly interface.

This thesis is an addition to pictures and animation that has been developed using CATIA V5. The animation and the images are a market basis to test whether the product is of interest in the Nordic market. The thesis is structured with elements of the Fredy Olsson method. Syftet med detta arbete är att titta på polisens trafikövervakning, för att se om olyckorna (dödsolyckor och svårt skadade olyckor) minskar, samt hur effektivt de olika metoderna fungerar. De mätmetoder som vi tittat på, visar tydligt i den statistik som finns, hur effektiv den är och om de kort- respektive långsiktiga effekterna kvarstår. Det är olika typer av försök som har gjorts av Polisen och Vägverket som t ex pendeltrafikprojektet där vi ser hur kontinuerlig övervakning av poliser fungerar på olika av dessa sträckor efter pendlarprojektet med fysiska poliser var klara. Hur är acceptansen hos de olika trafikanterna? ATK som fotograferar eller fysiska poliser som är ute och sköter övervakningen? Finns det nya effektivare metoder för att förbättra trafiksäkerheten och minska genomsnittshastigheten? och leder dessa metoder i sin tur till att minska trafikolycksrisken? Medelhastigheten har sjunkit mer vid fast övervakning gentemot personell övervakning och effekten är att fasta kameror gör att den lägre medelhastigheten fortsätter att bestå.

The thesis analyzes two different approaches towards responsive web design, Mobile-first and Desktop-first. Responsive web design is a concept for websites whose design is customised based on the screen size. The analysis is performed by collecting views on the methods and also analyzing the usage of mobile and desktop internet to create a prototype of a responsive website where both methods are beeing used.The main difference between the methods is the foundation, where one is designed for mobile and the other for desktop. The thesis indicates that Mobilef-irst gives a better result for the mobile, which unlike the computer has poor performance, smaller screen and poor internet connection, therefore an advantage for the device that needs more focus to maintain a fast response. Desktop-first does not take this opportunity, but focus instead on the computer where the performance is better, which leads to a unnoticeable difference in response time.

Utan hänsyn till dessa variabler finns en risk att företag tillämpar ett belöningssystem som inte ger maximal nytta. Syfte:                   Ambitionen med denna studie är att beskriva butikssäljares inställning till fast- respektive provisionsbaserat belöningssystem samt om personliga variabler påverkar butikssäljares preferens av ett visst belöningssystem. Metod:                I studien har författarna tillämpat en kvantitativ ansats. För insamling av data utformades en enkät med bundna svarsalternativ vilken grundat det empiriska material som krävts för att genomföra studien.

CML Data AB is a small IT-company that offers complete IT-solutions adjusted to the needs of the customers. It is hard for the employees to bring all necessary papers, files and software when visiting a customer. They also have difficulties planning their daily work and to keep track of each other, because of the lack of a shared calendar.The purpose of this report is to answer the following questions:- How do you develop a centralized information system for CML Data AB where it is possible for the employees to gain access to files, plan their days and where the customers can get access to relevant information?- How do you develop an information system that is easy to manage?- How do you make it easier for the employees at CML Data AB to update their homepage?We discussed the problems and the future information system with the employees and were able to establish a set of needs and requirements which we then used as a foundation during the software development. We used user centered system design during the whole process and focused a lot on usability and interaction design.The project resulted in a stylistically pure and user friendly portal.

Det finns flera olika metoder att väga ett tåg samt att detektera hjulskador såsom hjulplattor då ett tåg är i drift. I dagsläget används töjningsgivare som monteras på rälen och som kalibreras efter en statisk last. Kalibreringen går till så att ett tåg med känd last sakta passerar över givaren. Detta arbete avser att studera hur eventuella dynamiska effekter påverkar sådana mätningar. Dessa mätmetoder ska undersökas för att få reda på hur tillförlitliga de är.
