Gerbera jamesonii is a plant with a large amount of pollen and various flower colours and a favourite host plant for Frankliniella occidentalis. The best growing temperature for gerbera is approximately 20°C. Frankliniella occidentalis or the Western Flower Thrips is a small insect that has become an important pest in greenhouse cultivation all over the world. The high temperatures in the greenhouse are favourable for F. occidentalis.

Bakgrund: Redovisning av tjänsteuppdrag är ett område som i Sverige karaktäriserats av försiktighet. Kostnader och intäkter har normalt sett redovisats först i den period när resultatet av uppdraget med full säkerhet kunnat fastställas. En successiv avräkning av vinsten, i takt med arbetets framåtskridande, har sällan gjorts. Redovisningsrådet har dock nu kommit med rekommendation nr 11 (RR 11) om redovisning av intäkter (med grund i IAS 18) som träder ikraft 2001. Rekommendationen ska tillämpas av de publika företagen och kräver att längre tjänsteuppdrag vinstavräknas successivt på koncernnivå.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en bild av hur jämställdhets- och genusperspektivet ter sig hos historielärare i de senare skolåren på Centralskolan i Svedala, samt om och hur man i historieundervisningen arbetar för att uppnå kraven i läroplanen angående jämställdhet mellan kön. Min utgångspunkt är att undersöka om historielärare tycker att de arbetar jämställt. Undersökningen har gjorts med hjälp av intervjuer och slutsatsen visar på att kunskapen är låg men att man ändå tycker att man arbetar jämställt..

Det här arbetet har utförts hos Atlas Copco AB i Örebro. Arbetet innebar att komma med nya idéer till hur så kallade segment kan utformas. Segment är en kropp av gummi som har urtag där borrstänger kan lagras. Resultatet av arbetet blev att ett alternativt material i armerad PTFE kunde presenteras. Projektet startade med att upprätta en kravspecifikation för ett alternativt material för att därefter göra ett materialval utifrån kravspecifikationen.

Fire has historically been of great ecological importance in the boreal forests of Sweden. The forest fire regime has, however, varied between different parts of the country. The objective of this thesis is therefore to investigate the fire history in Fulufjället National Park and, on this basis, give suggestions for future fire management. The reconstruction of fire history was done by cross-dating fire scars in samples taken from living and dead Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Local fire chronologies were established at 17 points in the forests in and around Fulufjället National Park by cross-dating fire scars on 54 samples. The oldest year-ring dated from year 968.

New Economy Firms (NEFs) are considered being important drivers of economic development and growth in Sweden. Also, entrepreneurship is a widely discussed topic that is considered being essential for firms that are making business in a fast moving landscape. Usually, the growth of companies is put in context of the life cycle. The life cycle further implies that as a company moves from the startup-stage along the curve, the organizational structure increases. Further, increased structure is claimed to impede the entrepreneurial culture within the firm.

In this essay I plan to mainly write about the Christian church. However, I will shortly mention other parishes.In the first part I will in the first chapter write how the church saw earlier on HBLT (Homo-, Bisexual, Lesbians and Transgender) people. In the second chapter how the situation is today and finally in the third chapter I will try to see how the situation is in the future in both in a positive and negative aspect.In the second part I will write about Troy Perry, the founder of M.C.C. Metropolitan Community Churches). In the first chapter I will write shortly about when he was growing up, in the second about his vocation to become a minister and in the third chapter about his founding of M.C.C.In the third and last part I will in the first chapter write about the first years, in the second chapter about how it is today and in the third and last chapter what the elders in the church sees how the future will look like.My main question is to see if M.C.C.

Bakgrund/Motiv: Historiskt sett tillämpades vanligen fast prissättning vid börsintroduktioner vilket innebar att aktierna ofta blev underprissatta och det var lätt för investerare att generera hög avkastning första handelsdagen. Numera används i större utsträckning anbudsförfarande och intervallprissättning där investerare lämnar anbud om pris och antal vilket har minskat underprissättningen. Studien utgår från att en del av marknadens förväntningar inkluderas i priset vid intervallprissättning vilket i sin tur skulle minska aktiens volatilitet efter introduktion.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om aktiens volatilitet skiljer sig efter att den introducerats beroende på vilken av de två metoderna som använts för att prissätta aktien samt hur val av prissättningsmetod påverkar en aktiens underprissättning och avkastning efter introduktionen.Genomförande: Studien består av kvantitativa historiska data i form av aktiekurser och övrig information från de prospekt som upprättats i samband med bolagens introduktion på börsen. Utöver bearbetning av data och analyser i Excel har ett flertal ekonometriska tester genomförts med hjälp av ickelinjära regressionsanalyser där prissättningsmetod, betavärde, underprissättning och varians testats som beroende variabel mot ett flertal kombinationer av förklarande variabler.Slutsats: Studien visar att bolag som tillämpat fast prissättning uppvisar högre volatilitet efter börsintroduktion och att valet av prissättningsmetod därmed har en viss påverkan på volatiliteten. Vidare kan det konstateras att dessa bolag generellt varit mer underprissatta och genererat högre avkastning det första handelsåret..

There are several thousands shallow bays along the Swedish east coast. Most of them are disturbed by different human activities, and undisturbed bays can be considered as quite unique. In the sheltered shallow bays water warms up more rapidly than adjacent water favoring the growth of vegetation, which in turns is beneficial to spring spawning fish species like perch and pike. It is nowadays more common that coastal habitats are inventoried to facilitate future preservation and planning. The aim of this study was to investigate the shallow bay Utanåfladen (59° 53`31.38 N 19°00`44.90 E) in the north Stockholm archipelago and evaluate its habitat value.

Idag är det i Sverige tillåtet att bygga höga trähus. Detta arbete behandlar framförallt trähus som byggs som volymelement i fabrik och endast monteras på själva byggplatsen. Trähus är lätta i förhållande till byggnader byggda av andra material, och när trähusen byggs högre blir vindlasten större och problem uppstår med stabiliseringen. På vissa ställen i byggnaden ger vindlasten upphov till koncentrerade lyftkrafter som är större än egenvikten, och dessa delar av byggnaden vill då lyfta. Idag beräknas dessa krafter med en förenklad tvådimensionell metod som tar liten hänsyn till omkringliggande väggar och bjälklag.

During the 19th centaury Liverpool was an industrial city of great magnitude owing to the well-established communication and infrastructure in the area. During the 1950?s the industry decrease swiftly - and although Liverpool as a city gain interest as a result of the sensation of the Merseybeat and The Beatles - the reduction continued through the 70?s and during the 80?s the people of Liverpool suffered from great unemployment. Today Liverpool is a post-industrial city with a growing experience economy that mainly benefits from The Beatles tourism and the Merseybeat-era. The focus of these studies is the experience economy in Liverpool as a result of globalization and production in the late modernity.
