"Natten är dagens mor": Lars Noréns pjäs tolkad utifrån ett vetenskapligt och systemteoretiskt perspektiv
Our purpose with this essay was to analyse the play "Night Is the Mother of Day" written by Lars Norén, and to investigate how the family members/characters in the play interacted.By analysing the family with help from the system theory and by comparing the family with scientifically proven facts regarding drug abuse complexities, this essay explains the family's behaviour pattern and main dysfunctional problems. This essay explains the similarities and non similarities between the science and the specific theatrical play being used. It also rise the question whether there are advantages with analysing plays in terms of increasing the ability to relate to difficult problems and create a greater empathy and understanding for people involved with social problems..

Familjehemmens biologiska barn : Berättelser om att växa upp med fostersyskon
Children, who grow up in families, where their parents have decided to take care of a foster child on a commission of the social welfare services, are not often given the possibility to tell about their experience of having foster siblings, in research and other studies. The aim of this study was to give biological children, in these families, a chance to tell their narratives of growing up with foster siblings, creating opportunities for families, who might have plans to take care of foster children in the future. They can get a picture of how it could be for the family´s own children. The biological children got the opportunity to tell their narrative stories including the relationships in their families and how they were looking forward into their own future and family life. The used theory takes part in systemic thinking, looking at the family as an organization and how identities are created in relationships and in communication.

Must I move to be with my family? The right to family reunification in EU law and the problem of reverse discrimination
The Court of Justice of the European Union has progressively revised the rule of purely internal situations to ensure a wider scope of application of the economic freedoms as well as the EU citizenship right to move and reside freely within the Union. This development, combined with the increasing importance of fundamental rights, has strengthened the family life protection of those EU citizens who come within the scope of EU law. The limit between the individuals who may benefit from a EU right to family reunification and fundamental rights protection and those who find themselves in purely internal situations has, however, become more legally uncertain. The disadvantage suffered by those who fall outside the scope of EU law is known as reverse discrimination. The 2011 case Zambrano confirmed the trend towards an increasingly generous EU law protection of family life in cases where the exercise of freedom of movement and enjoyment of EU citizenship rights is potentially restricted by a Member State measure. By contrast, in the subsequent McCarthy- case, it became clear that families in purely internal situations may only rely on national immigration and procedural law to obtain family reunification and protection of their fundamental rights.
Införande av evidensbaserade metoder: ett kommunperspektiv
This thesis is composed within the framework of the supplementary course in psychotherapy concentrating on family therapy (60 credits) arranged by Lund University's affiliate in Västerås, Sweden. The purpose of this thesis has been to explore how the idea to initiate evidence based methods in the workings of the Individual and Family Care Department of the City of Västerås was born. Furthermore the thesis will explore if consideration for methods of theoretical implementation are implied. The study assumes a qualitative attempt and is based on semi-structured interviews from three levels within the organization, including both management and operation.Theories on organization, implementation and the theory on change strategies have been used as a theoretical starting point. The study result shows that introduction of evidence based methods in the City of Västerås is based on the experiences of the organization regarding the need to develop and increase social services contributions to non-institutional care. Experiences from expensive transferrals to institutions which only occasionally produced satisfactory results were a contributing factor. New published research and a strong interest and desire inside the department to improve and change social services contributions have naturally been a positive influence for the development.
Framgångsfaktorer inom Wallenbergsfären
AbstractThe purpose for this study has been to discover and reveal what exactly it is that have made the Wallenberg family so successful in the Swedish business world for more than 150 years. We have narrowed our research by limit it to only find and concern the specific features of the Wallenberg family and not their entire corporate group. There is no research made before regarding this matter, as far as we could see, which is one of the reasons to why we find this study relevant. In order to answer our question we have chosen to use a qualitative approach in which we have interviewed three people. These three people all have deep and thorough insight in the Wallenberg family.

Maskrosbarn : Att växa upp med minst en förälder som missbrukar alkohol
Our study aims to investigate whether resilient children share common factors that could explain them not following the expected course of development for said group. The study also sets out to explore which strategies resilient children implement in order to cope with their situation. The study is based on the following questions:How do resilient children describe their experiences from growing up with parents with substance abuse problems? What risk and protective factors do they mention in their biographies? We use the system theory and Goffman's dramaturgic perspective as analytical tools. The system theory could help us see the family as a system, while Goffman's theory might help us understand how resilient children find different strategies, and why they implement these strategies, to hide their family problems. The results show that the most important factors with a positive effect on resilient children were: to have somebody else important in their lives, to have goals in life, to have a safe haven, to think independently and to develop a high level of independence early in life..

Kombinationen arbete-familj : I en kvalitativ studie ger Luftfartsverkets anställda sin syn
The purpose of this study was to obtain an understanding of how the employees at LFV Group Swedish Airports and Air Navigation Services (Luftfartsverket) manage to combine work and family, and put this in relation to the concepts of employer of choice and socially sustainable development. Qualitative interviews were carried out with 23 randomly selected participants at the three largest places of work within the organisation. The results showed that the combination of work and family mostly could be managed but that factors like high workload and feelings of stress affected the participants in a negative way. The main measures facilitating the combination of work and family were shorter working hours and support with domestic chores. LFV can partly be considered an employer of choice when it comes to family friendly benefits but changes could be made for further improvement.

In order to fulfill the purpose and answer the research questions, a quantitative research method has been selected. There was 118 participants in the survey.
