Den reviderade revisionen: en studie av avskaffandet av revisionspliktens påverkan på tjänsten revision
Sweden has had statutory audit, which also includes a management audit, for all companies since 1988. A legislative proposal now suggests that the statutory audit shall be abolished for all small and medium sized companies starting on July 1, 2010. The aim for this master?s thesis is therefore to study how the service of auditing will be affected by the legislative proposal. To answer the research question the authors have taken on a qualitative approach and fifteen interviews with representatives for different Swedish auditing firms have been completed.

The purpose of this study was to illuminate dentists? work with guarantees. A case study was performed by personal interviews with dentists from both private and public sector. The result showed how dentists work with guarantees and how they motivate their guarantee obligations. We found that service guarantees? shaping and application should be simple and obvious.

The aim of our study is to explore the thoughts and beliefs held by the professionals who work with the sentence youth service for young offenders, and how they feel about the same.How is the sentence youth service perceived from a professional perspective? How does the concurrence look like between the police, the social services and the prosecutor, when it comes to young offenders? What kind of difficulties/challenges do the professionals see in the possibility to effect the sentence youth service?The study is based on a qualitative method. The data consists of seven semi-structured interviews with two police officers, four social workers and one prosecutor.The results of our study indicate that youth service is a good sentence for young first-time offenders; the study also indicates that concurrence between the different professions is a success factor; furthermore the study revealed that it was very difficult finding adequate working places..
Ett managementkoncepts livscykel -En studie om leans livscykel i olika kontexter
Managementmoden är svängningar i popularitet av managementkonceptoch sprids med hjälp av utbudsaktörer. Managementmodenslivscykel kan liknas vid en klockformad kurva och visar hurpopulariteten för ett managementkoncept ser ut under dess livslängd.Ett managementkoncept som blivit mycket uppmärksammatär lean som fick sitt genombrott inom bilindustrin i mitten av1990-talet. Expertis, service och autonomi : Analys av professionalisering och professionalism i bibliotekarieyrket
The purpose of this study is to examine and compare librarian profession with different professional theories. The intention is to describe how the librarian profession meets the different professional criteria and to what extent the librarian profession can be said to be professional in expertise, service and autonomy. Nolin?s modern theory provides an opportunity to analyze occupational groups based on professionalized basic concepts. The analysis of relevant material showed that the librarian is a service profession with high skills, but does not hold a high degree of autonomy.

The Swedish TV broadcasting market is constantly changing together with the players in it. The questionto be answered by this paper is how the players in the market handle these changes and to what extentthe players are changing the market. Also, are there any differences between the public service andcommercial players in this aspect? The purpose of this paper is to create a better understanding of theSwedish broadcasting market and its player's market orientation. Marketing tools in grocery retailing, do they affect store loyalty?
The purpose of this study is to provide a longitudinal examination, within grocery retailing, of four marketing tools and their impact on enhancing customer loyalty. The study examines whether the relationship between the four marketing tools and customer satisfaction has a positive effect on attitude and behavior loyalty. The findings from this study show that the marketing tools have not helped enhancing loyalty between 2004 and 2007. Between these years, service quality has the most affect on loyalty. Self-scanning as an effective marketing tool could be questioned, the relation in this study is not supported.
Produktionseffektivisering inom HMLV-miljöer
Flertal små företag med stor produktflora i små volymer har uttryckt en vilja för att implementera Lean-verktyg i deras företag och ofta har det inte genererat de goda resultat de förväntat sig. För att dessa företag ska bli framgångsrika i sitt implementerande av Lean gäller det att de utvärderar vilka verktyg som gynnar företaget och vilka som inte medför förbättring.Problematiken som uppstår i detta är kulturella förändringar där det är vanligt att arbetare inte visar motivation eller intresse för att förändra sin tidigare arbetsrutin och här har ledningen stort ansvar att motivera arbetarna till att vara delaktiga och välkomna förbättringar. För att kunna undersöka detta utförligt har en fallstudie och litteraturstudie utförts för att studera: 1) Hur HMLV-företag bör gå tillväga för att arbeta med Lean, 2) vilka Lean-principer som går att implementera i HMLV-miljön och slutligen 3) hur man övertygar medarbetarna att ändra sitt befintliga arbetssätt till en mer standardiserad arbetsform.Resultat från litteraturstudien visar hur viktigt det är att studera vilka verktyg som passar in i ett specifikt företag och att man ska samla information om hur man ska gå tillväga innan man beslutar sig för något. Litteraturstudien visar även att ledningen har en stor roll i att övertyga medarbetarna till att engagera sig i förändringsarbetet. Resultat från fallstudien styrker litteraturstudiens påståenden om hur viktigt det är att studera vilka verktyg som passar in i ett specifikt företag och hur dessa företag bör gå tillväga.

The purpose of this Master Thesis is to investigate whether the technical service available in the "Reading and Writing Corner" has an influence on the total quality of service in a public library. This service is intended to give sensory/print-handicapped persons access to information. The title KOM LOSS is a Swedish expression for "come on" and LOSS is short for reading and writing support. I have chosen to study three libraries in the region of Västra Götaland, Sweden. The thesis examines total quality from the aspects of goal steering, accessibility, education and marketing.

The Church of Sweden sent during the spring 2010 two documents, Teologiskagrundprinciper för arbetet I 2006 års handboksgrupp and Mässans grundordning forconsideration. The documents are parts in the work with writing a new service-book for theChurch of Sweden. After the documents had been sent for consideration by the dioceses therehas been a discussion about the proposal to make the preparation in the service of HolyCommunion facultative. My main question has been to se if there will be any change of theconfession, faith and doctrine in the Church of Sweden if the preparation becomes facultative.I have seen that the service-book is an expression for the confession of the Church of Sweden,therefore there will be no change of the confession of the Church of Sweden, but a change ofits expression.I have seen that there is no consensus in how the dioceses react over what is written in thetwo documents about the forgiveness and the atonement. My conclusion is that it may bydifficult for the Church of Sweden to fix a new service-book without first fix what the Churchof Sweden means with forgiveness and atonement..

This report is focusing on problems with introducing standard enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) in businesses. A study has been carried out on a service and support department at a Swedish heat metering company, SVM North Node. The study aims to help the company become a better customer in choice and customization of a new ERP system. We make a description of the department studied and the work carried out there, on the basis of learning, knowledge and cooperation. METHODOLOGY: Our paper is based on secondary data, focused on historical spot prices on Brent oil and stock indices from Sweden and UK. We construct dummy variables to register positive and negative disturbances in the oil price. Furthermore we try to find a relation between the price disturbances and the different stock indices. THEORY: We take off from earlier studies, which prove that there is a relation between oil prices and stock markets.
The Effects of Technology-Based Self-Service on Grocery Retail : A Swedish Case
Technology based self-service (TBSS) used in supermarket self-scanning checkouts is a relatively new phenomenon in Sweden. Studies on TBSS as a self- checkout device have been formerly carried out but with focus on the customer perspective. The authors therefore saw a challenge in covering the self-scan checkout concept, from a company perspective. The purpose of this research paper is to investigate, through a management perspective, the changes brought about by implementing an innovative TBSS system in Swedish supermarkets, and its effect on the competitiveness of the company. This is done by presenting and linking the theoretical framework and empirical study in the research.
