I have chosen the following problem: How is the Catholic church presented in the horror movies The Exorcist and The Rite, and how can one understand these presentations from a role theoretic perspective?Since role theory has it's background in the world of the theater with it's actors and roles, it came naturally to use role theory, and specifically Goffmans dramatic model. I've used this model in a film analysis of the movies.

This means that licensed health- and medical staff, as district nurses are able to write prescriptions on physical activity to patients.Purpose: Was to highlight the district nurse?s experience in the role of the FAR-prescribers.Method: The study was conducted using qualitative method.

During the 1960s and 1970s an increased interest in Native Americans can be seen in Sweden, e.g. through the establishment of organizations such as the Indian Club of Sweden. The aim of this thesis is to study the portrayal of Native Americans and its role through Albin Widén, a Swedish author, ethnologist and member of the Indian Club, and his non-fictional works on the Swedish migration to America, Swedish-America and Swedish contacts with Native Americans. The study is divided into four parts. The first part looks at the portrayal of the Native Americans in Widén?s writings, in comparison with Euro-Americans? and Europeans? traditional stereotypic images of a good and a bad Indian.

The Changing Role of the Vocational Studies Teacher.

The aim of this study is to examine how work at music departments in public libraries has changed with time. To analyze this, the role of music libraries as well as music library users, selection, holdings, acquisition and technological development have been examined. The examined data consists of qualitative interviews with music librarians and library assistants at public libraries in Sweden. To get a time perspective, handbooks and articles about music departments in libraries have also been analyzed.This study emanates from Sanna Talja?s discourse analysis of music libraries in Finland.

Today, digital technologies (DT) can be said to play an important role in the Swedish school system. The goal of this essay was to describe DT use by school leaders, in relation to their views on schools? goals and visions, and teachers? and students? use of DTs. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with five school leaders of secondary schools in Umeå municipality, Sweden. The results show that school leaders? use of DTs center on three key tasks: communication, information and administration.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine what role the new city library in Halmstad has for its users. The questions posed in this study are: What do the users actually do at the library? What roles are the most significant according to the users? Have the politicians succeeded in their intention of realizing a modern library according to the users? The theoretical starting point is Andersson?s and Skot-Hansen?s theory of four different roles of public libraries. Background: First Line Managers are expected to create a health promoting work environment. Research has shown that the prerequisites for accomplishing a health promoting leadership are not always the best. Aim: The aim was to elucidate the prerequisites for a health promoting leadership as First Line Manager at a University hospital in Sweden based on competence, role, support structures and own durability. Results: First Line Managers at the chosen hospital seems to have rather good conditions for conducting a health promoting leadership. All respondents did have a university degree and most thought that their competence corresponded well with the role.

According to statistics, requirements management is identified as a major source of error to failed IT-projects. Moreover communication is identified as a factor affecting the require-ments management and can lead to deficiencies in the requirements. The requirements analyst is responsible for managing the requirements from the different stakeholders, act as a com-munication accommodator and to translate abstract requirements expressed by users to more specific requirements that developers can implement. The purpose of this thesis is to study the role of the requirements analyst to investigate the problems that may arise in working with requirements management.  To achieve the purpose we have performed a requirements management process in which we ourselves took the role as the requirements analysts. The requirements management process consisted of three phases: gather requirements, document requirements and validate require-ments.

De senaste åren har statistiken för barn som får diagnosen ADHD skjutit i höjden. (Danielsson 2011). I takt med att diagnoserna hos barn ökat har kraven för att få extra resurs i förskolan också ökat (Lindgren 2012). Det blir därför en utmaning för pedagoger och lärare när dessa extra resurser för barn i behov av särskilt stöd blir svårare att få i verksamheten. Utifrån denna bakgrund är huvudsyftet med studien att undersöka vad som händer i förskoleverksamheten efter att ett barn fått en ADHD-diagnos.

Bakgrund Överlevnaden ökar bland för tidigt födda barn, vilket främst beror på stora förbättringar inom den perinatala och neonatala intensivvården. Postnatal tillväxthämning, allvarliga sjukdomar och långsiktigt hälsoutfall utgör dock fortfarande ett bekymmer.Syfte Målsättningen med studien var att undersöka intaget av energi och makronutrienter samt tillväxt hos extremt för tidigt födda barn med en födelsevikt under 1000 gram, och att analysera eventuella samband mellan respiratorisk funktion, näringsintag och tillväxt.Metod En retrospektiv kohortstudie av 77 extremt för tidigt födda barn födda mellan 1 april 2009 och 31 mars 2012. Spädbarnen vårdades på den neonatala intensivvårdsavdelningen på Norrlands universitets sjukhus i Sverige. Efter exklusion, på grund av morbiditet eller mortalitet, återstod 47 spädbarn. Dagligt näringsintag och tillväxt noterades i databasen Nutrium.
