There are various investments to suit different investors, what affects the investor is the risk he/she takes with the investment and also the awareness  the investor has. According to different theories a higher risk gives even a higher yield to compensate for the extra risk the investor takes.In this paper, we discuss and compare two different forms of savings, Swedish closed-end funds and Swedish mutual funds to examine what alternative that generates highest returns in relation to the risk.To help, we use different evaluation measures that adjusts the different investments risk so that you can compare how well the investments have performed regardless of the risk they have. This will give us an answer about what investment form that have performed the best between 2002.01.01-20010.12.31. Five Sweden mutual funds and five closed-end funds have been selected to participate in the survey.To evaluate this, it is primarily quantitative data, analyzed in the evaluation measures. The results obtained in the survey show that Swedish closed-end funds have performed far better during the selected time period.

Context: Lip-to-Lift (L-t-L) is a bedside-method for measuring oral transit time at swallow. It was designed for a swallowing examination of persons on nursing homes where weight loss was noted in people with average L-t-L-time >5 seconds (Sandin, 2005). The measurement was validated and evaluated by Eriksson, Bremer Zerpe (2008).Objectives: The study objective was to examine L-t-L on a group of young adults without swallowing disorders and as to examine the inter- and intra-judgereliability of the measure.Questions:What is the L-t-L-time for young adults without swallowing disorders?Are there any gender differences regarding L-t-L-time?How high is the inter/intra-judge reliability of L-t-L?Method: Examination of L-t-L-time was carried out on 20 young adults, aged 19-27 years, without swallowing disorders after Sandin?s (2005) instructions. Measurements of 20 swallows per person were made.Results: The average L-t-L-time of young adults without deglutition-difficulties was 1.13 seconds (sd =.14).

AbstractThis report intends through a case study to investigate if lightweight concrete isappropriate as main material in the outer wall of a seven storey residential building.A technical design is carried out in accordance with the definitions and requirementsfor passive houses, given by FEBY?s1 ?Demand specification for passive houses?.A literature review is also carried out for a comparison between regular bolt wall andlight weight concrete wall, with a focus on the safety of moisture.The lightweight concrete block used in the report is as a celblock produced by thecompany H+H Sweden AB.The methods used have resulted in compliance with requirements andrecommendations from authorities. Calculations of energy, noise and moisture riskassessment has been carried out.The work has resulted in the conclusion that the lightweight concrete itself is notable to isolate in the extent necessary to obtain chosen U-value of 0,1 W/m2 ° C,without getting to thick. Therefore additional insulation is needed. There are fewrelevant reference objects built with only light weight concrete.

Tissue factor (TF), a 47 kDa glycoprotein, is the initiator of the extrinsic pathway of blood coagulation and consequently of the upmost importance when damage to blood vessel occurs. The source of TF in circulation has been investigated. However, the source of TF is still not clear. One theory is that platelets express and increases the expression of TF after stimulation and the aim of our report was to investigate whether platelets really are a source for TF in circulation.Using specific primers for TF mRNA, platelets in plasma from healthy volunteers and from patients suffering from cardiac infarction were analyzed by using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Gel electrophoresis was performed after amplification of TF mRNA to verify the results.The samples were negative for TF when using real-time PCR and the few positive all had cycle threshold (Ct) values above 35.

The result is thereafter analysed through the developed analysis model from which conclusion is drawn. Studien behandlar studie- och yrkesvägledning till elever på Riksgymnasiet för döva och hörselskadade, där elevgruppen med hörselnedsättning studeras. Ungas övergångar från gymnasiet är extra komplex för denna grupp och de riskerar i större omfattning att hamna i arbetslöshet och utanförskap i samhället. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur studie- och yrkesvägledning kan arbeta med stöd i deras karriärutveckling och förklara hur vägledningsprocessen ser ut och på vilket sätt studie- och yrkesvägledning kan stärka eleverna individuellt. Detta gjordes genom kvalitativa intervjuer av studie- och yrkesvägledare som arbetade/har arbetat på Riksgymnasiet för döva och hörselskadade. Studiens resultat visade att elevernas hörselnedsättning har betydelse inför kommande studie- och arbetsliv.

Internet and media have led to companies' operations becoming more visible and transparent to the public during the 21st century. Several notable corporate scandals have led to society placing greater demands on businesses to assume more accountability for their actions. This study aims to examine and develop existing research regarding accountability, by adding dimensions of time and space. More specifically, the study examines the extent to which stakeholders hold corporations accountable after the revelation of an ethical corporate scandal, through a qualitative case study on a pending lawsuit against the Swedish corporation Boliden. Our theory is based on John Roberts' (1991) research presented in the article "The Possibilities of Accountability" and Martin Messner's (2009) research presented in the article "The Limits of Accountability".

Thesis purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to determine how a technolo-gically enhanced shopping tool, synergizing eCRM tech-niques with personalized promotion at the point-of-sale, can increase customer loyalty by considering perceptions of current grocery retailer loyalty programs in Sweden. Methodology: An exploratory research was undertaken in the light of a qualitative method collecting primary data through focus group interviews. Theoretical perspective: The major considerations regarding theoretical aspects, for this thesis, can be addressed by Behavioral/Attitudinal loyalty and Relevance of Promotion. Empirical data: The empirical data, in regards to primary data, was ga-thered based on four focus group interviews. Conclusion: The conclusions of the thesis imply, that in order to make a loyalty program successful, it needs to firstly be conven-ient for the customer; easy to join, and provide an easy and time efficient display at the point-of-sale.

The systems we have developed are more effective and reduce energy up too 25 %. The process time is reduced too less than two hours, from the today two and half-hour. The solutions are too heat up the rinse water and the dishwater at the same time, with a new heating system and it make are solutions unique and effective. Its good for the dish and the environment.

The aim of the study was to find repetitive behavioral patterns pre calving that could be used as indications of calving in beef cattle. In the study sixteen Standing- and lying down sensors were attached to the leg of sixteen beef cows. Ten of the sixteen beef cows gave birth to calves during the trial period. From these ten cows, data from six cows were used to assess the sensors fitness for use as calving indicators. The analytical part of the experiment was divided into two parts, calculation of divergence of mean lying time within different time intervals, and the number of lying bouts.The first part consisted of optimization of an equation used to highlight divergence in mean lying time within eight different time intervals (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24 hours).

Studiens syfte är att se till vilka anpassningsmöjligheter samt svårigheter det enligt pedagoger finns vid idrott med rullstolsburna elever. Under arbetet med studien har jag inspirerats av hermeneutiken. Det jag kom fram till i min studie var att det enligt pedagogerna finns svårigheter som kan skapa hinder för den rullstolsburna eleven, så som den befintliga miljön, pedagogers kompetens samt vissa aktiviteter.

För att nå uppställda mål har organisationer valt att använda sig av belöningssy-stem som motivationsfaktor. Det kan innebära extra ersättningar utöver den fasta lönen som används som ett styrningsverktyg för att skapa ett incitament till den anställde. Bonus räknas som en extra ersättning utöver lönen och speciellt bonus har diskuterats flitigt i media den senaste tiden. Utifrån resonemanget har vi funnit det intressant att göra en uppsats om hur medarbetarna i Handelsbanken och Swedbank påverkas av belöningssystemet för att nå de uppställda målen.Syftet med vår uppsats är att beskriva hur belöningssystem påverkar medarbetarna att uppnå målkongruens inom Handelsbanken och Swedbank. För att kunna besvara vårt syfte har vi ansett att en induktiv ansats med kvalitativ fallstudie som vetenskaplig metod är mest lämplig. För att genomföra vår uppsats på ett utför-ligt sätt har mestadels av datainsamlingen utförts med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer. De slutsatser som framkommit i uppsatsen är att icke-monetära belöningar utgör en större motivationsfaktor än monetära belöningar i eftersträvandet av målkongruens.

Police can on suspicion of a crime arrest a person, in order that the suspected person won´t be able to eliminate evidence. Being convicted of a crime and go to prison is terrible, but what about the experiences of being detained on suspicion of a crime you did not commit? Our purpose with the study is exploring stories of people who have been detained. It´s about their time as detainees to the time they got free from suspicions of the crime.
