The objectives of this study was to (1) examine Swedish professional bowlers understanding of imagery (2) their experience in imagery (3) see if there was interest in improved use of imagery within bowling. Twelve professional bowling players (M = 30.42), all male, took part in the study. Six of the players were ranked among the best in the world. The instrument that was used was The Individual Profile of Imagery Experiences in Sport (IPIES, Weibull 2008). The result showed that eleven of twelve use imagery within bowling.

The aim of this study was to examine if it was possible to improve fitness and strength in young ice hockey players with help of a training programme based on functional training and aerobic training. The training programme was performed on Halmstad Hockey U-16 team where 17 boys participated in the study. We performed the training in a period of sex weeks with three training occasions each week. These consisted of two functional training sessions and one fitness session. In the beginning we emphasized the importance of a correct performance and technique.

Det är av mycket stor vikt att ägande och brukande av skogsfastigheter fungerar och att det finns förutsättningar för att lyckas med det. Dock kan samägandet i vissa situationer hindra utvecklingen av fastigheten. Skogsbruket är en viktig inkomstkälla för den private skogsägaren såväl som för Sverige, skogsbruket i vårt land stod 2010 för 7 % av världens totala export. Även om Sverige är ett litet land i världen, är det inte obetydligt inom skogsbranschen.

The aim of my examination work was to compare and research how russian respective swedish teachers make use of educational aesthetic methods such as drawing, drama, music and dance in the teaching of core school subjects ? mathematics and swedish respective russian languages. The aim of this work was to find out which of these methods are used by pedagogues in the process of education and on what level are they integrated into the theoretical pedagogic work. The point was to also analyse the regulation documents used as pedagogical base in schools i've been doing my survey in. This was done to partly find out what arts perspective is given in the curriculum and partly to see what pieces of it are reflected in the process of education.

Energy Director is a control and measuring system for energy consumption and is part of the product portfolio of E.ON AG for more efficient use of energy, offered to business customers. As of today, the system has only one parameter of control, namely power, and the objective of this essay has been to investigate whether other ones could be added. The emphasis is on the environmental perspective, which is why carbon dioxide has served as an example for this parameter in question.Parallel with the study of Energy Director electricity on the margin, calculations of carbon dioxide equivalents and also the Swedish trade of electricity have all been highlighted. Results indicate that when reductions in energy are made it is endorsed to omit from electricity on the margin rather than some mean distributed electricity, under certain conditions, and in addition the calculations of the reductions should be modified regarding the efficiency of the power stations fuelled by lignite and bituminous coal. Sweden practices trade with the Nordic countries as well as Poland and Germany.

Internal marketing has been proposed as a means of gaining competetive edge in a market where service quality is an important precursor to performance. Still, the practical application of internal marketing remains relatively limited, which is hypothesized to be partly attributable to a widespread lack of the required philosophy which facilitates the effective implementation of internal marketing. The concept of internal market orientation (IMO) has been proposed as an accurate representation of this philosophy. This thesis attemps to assess the relevance of an IMO in relation to the internal marketing activities of an organisation. The findings of the study imply that IMO related activities impacts the effectiveness of internal marketing and that it thus provides a valuable tool in the process of implementing internal marketing strategies..

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine if companies? incentive programs for employees is designed in such a way that it makes it possible for managers to reach their goals. Method: Qualitative with a semi standardised questionnaire Results: Our results is that the incentive programs for employees in their present form don?t give the companies a good possibility to effect the employees to perform towards the goals of the system. The performance measures in the incentive programs for employees is suitable in comparison with the goals of the program but the construction and the use of the systems doesn?t give a satisfied result in comprising with the goals.

Uppsatsen syftar till att ge en bild av hur den ryska Östersjömarinen har förändrats sen Kalla krigets slut. För att skapa en överskådlig och konkret bild för läsaren har tre parametrar belysts dessa är uppgifter, resurser och materiel. En avgränsning i tid har gjorts då jag avser rikta in min analys på tre årtal, 1992, 2000 och 2007 dock har en mindre historisk invisning gjorts. Uppsatsens frågeställningar är: Hur har Östersjömarinens uppgifter, resurser och uppgifter förändrats sen Kalla krigets slut?    Östersjömarinen var som störst i slutet på Kalla kriget.

Assessing the outcome of corporate responsibility is often argued to be complicated due to long-term effects and qualitative aspects. Epstein (2008, p.261) establishes that: ?Though many think that sustainability is too difficult to measure, companies have found that unless the impacts are measured, they are commonly ignored in the resource allocation process?. Corporate responsibility is often referred to as a business case, i.e., that social and environmental concern add value to the business (Heikkurinen, 2010; Porter & van der Linde, 1995). Hence, for corporate responsibility to be a business case a strategy, corporate structure and systems, programmes and actions linked to performance measures need to be in place to assess the outcome; environmental, social as well as financial.

 Today a major part of the energy produced steams from fossil fuels, finite resources, and a change towards an energy sector based on renewable energy is necessary. Sweden is one of the leading countries with regards to investments in renewable energy but most other countries have a long way to go. This makes it interesting in developing renewable energy projects in new markets in countries like Poland where still a lot of fossil fuel is used. Large infrastructure development projects are very costly and therefore external investors needs to be involved. The investors play an important role in changing the usage of fossil fuels towards renewable energy sources.

This report was written by Lisa Bengtson and Hanna Paradis and describes the degree thesis "Environmental impacts of solid waste treatment in the Metropolitan Region, Santiago, Chile ? a comparison between current system and incineration with energy recovery". The purpose of this thesis was to investigate if incineration with energy recovery could be motivated through an environmental perspective as an alternative to landfilling of solid waste in Santiago, Chile. The study was performed with Life Cycle Analysis as a theoretical base. In Santiago, situated in the thirteenth region of Chile, Región Metropolitana, lives 6,5 million inhabitants. The major part of the solid waste produced in the region is landfilled on three different sanitary controlled landfills situated outside the city center.

In recent years coaching has become an increasingly popular phenomenon outside of the sports world. More and more people have found coaching to be a helpful tool for achieving greater performance and fulfillment in their lives. This thesis is a comparative literature study of three books about coaching where the authors use different theoretical bases to explain and teach coaching. The aim of the thesis is to explain how coaching as a phenomenon is described and compare these descriptions as well as to look at the ideals and norms that are produced and reproduced in the use of coaching. The study compares the three books from six different themes and shows that, in the use of coaching, the ideal of a rational and action oriented individual is constructed and the aim for this individual is some form of success.

Syfte: Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att beskriva och analysera företags arbetsprocess för att dokumentera och prissätta interna transaktioner med hänsyn tagen till dokumentationsskyldigheten avseende internprissättning som införs i Sverige 1 januari, 2007. Vidare vill vi undersöka om dokumentationsskyldigheten kommer att underlätta uppfyllandet av armlängdsprincipen. Metod: Denna studie har utförts genom en kvalitativ flerfallstudie, med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Valet av våra intervjuobjekt baseras på geografiskt läge, exporthandel med närstående part och att företagen påbörjat en dokumentation av internpriser. Teoretiska perspektiv: Uppsatsens teoretiska bas redogörs i ett ramverk och ett teoretiskt kapitel, för att ge läsaren en tydligare bild om vad som är riktlinjer, lagkrav och generella teorier om internpriser.Empiri: Det empiriska materialet grundas på tre stora internationella företag med säte i omnejd och att företagen bedriver export med närstående part.Resultat: Fallstudien visar att de undersökta företagen är mer eller mindre klara med sin dokumentation.

This thesis analyzes and discusses the role of institutions concerning countries' abilities to create economic wealth. The countries that we are analyzing are the former members of the Warsaw pact and former Yugoslavia. These countries are referred to as transition countries. In order to analyze the transition countries institutional structure we are using Douglass C. North's theory regarding institutions and institutional building.
