The aim with this essay is to investigate the attitude that employers have towards conflicts at the workplace and how this affects their way to prevent and deal with conflicts among employees. Another part of the essay is to discuss pedagogical issues related to learning through conflicts. With this aim and these questions of issues, we have found out which attitude employers have towards conflicts at the workplace as well as how they prevent and deal with them. We have also investigated which opportunities for further development employers sees in situations of conflict. This study is based on qualitative interviews with six women who are head of units within the communal area.

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate how working librariansmanage controversial media. It builds on three debates in the media about libraries and booksthat have taken place during the years of 2012 and 2013. The questiones asked were: How dolibrarians manage racist media? How do librarians manage media that instructs on how tocommit crimes? How do librarians manage sexually explicit media? And lastly, how dolibrarians manage pressure from outside of the library? The theoretical framework consists ofRobert Hauptmans division of the two kinds of ethical strands of librarianship, in this thesiscalled ?Free information? and ?Information responsibly?. The method used to collectempirical material was qualitative interviews.

Abstract of How to dress a cloud in trousers? ? A comparative analysis of Swedish translations of Vladimir Majakovskij?s poetryIn this essay I present a comparative analysis of Swedish translations of Vladimir Majakovskij?s poems ??????? ? ??????? and ??? ???? ??????.[1]My ambition is to analyze and understand methods of translation and reasons of devices in transforming Majakovskij?s poetry into a Swedish language and context. On the basis of my theoretic perspectives (which contain fundamental problems of translation, the development of the subject ?translation? and English translations of Russian texts) I methodically execute a parallel reading of the original poems, literature concerning Majakovskij as a poet and selected, biographic literature with a concentration on the works of the Swedish translator and scientist Bengt Jangfeldt.[2]The chapters of my analysis was formed during my methodic reading of theoretic and biographic literature and creates a frame for my results: the analyze of three different kinds of transforming the Russian rhymes into Swedish, the way of translators actualizing and making poems more understandable by placing it in a different context by changing names/national clichés, the effect of using hard or vulgarized language and the inevitable transformation from Russian to Swedish when translators are showing underlying meanings in the strophes by using more poetic language, a discussion of errors in translation, implicit difficulties in Russian use of certain words and the ideology of Majakovskij?s poetry and the Swedish publication/relationship to the authorship.[1]?A cloud in trousers? and ?At the top of my voice?[2]An interview with a Russian-speaking reader is also executed for another perspective of the Russian language.

Denna studie belyser hur kön samt hur heteronormativitet kommer till uttryck i tvÄ lÀroböcker, SamsprÄk 1 och SamsprÄk 2. BÄda böckerna Àr avsedda för att anvÀndas i undervisning pÄ sfi. Syftet med studien Àr att undersöka hur kvinnor och mÀn gestaltas i de ovan nÀmnda lÀroböckerna, samt att analysera förekomsten av heteronormativitet och hur den i sÄ fall kommer till uttryck. Undersökningen genomfördes genom nÀrlÀsning av de valda texterna i böckerna, vilka sedan var i fokus för analysen. Förutom i tvÄ av de texter som analyserades kontrasterades kvinnor och mÀn mot varandra, genom att de i olika beskrivningar eller pÄstÄenden fick stÄ som varandras motsatser.

Det övergripande syftet med studien Àr att undersöka hur ett fÄtal lÀrare tÀnker kring sambandet mellan sprÄk och ÀmnesinnehÄll i ett genreperspektiv. Min ambition var att ta reda pÄ hur lÀrare skapar en sprÄklig miljö som gynnar alla elevers lÀrande men med ett sÀrskilt fokus pÄ flersprÄkiga elever. I litteraturgenomgÄngen belyser jag internationell/nationell forskning i ett genrepedagogiskt perspektiv, frÀmst utifrÄn den australiska genreskolan, Àven kallad Sydneyskolan. Studien har en kvalitativ inriktning och insamling av data har skett genom intervjuer och videoinspelning i klassrummen. Det resultat som framkommer i studien visar huvudsakligen att deltagarna ser en positiv utveckling hos eleverna utifrÄn det genrepedagogiska arbetet.

Sedan en europeisk identitet först nÀmndes i 1973 Ärs ?Declaration on European identity? har mÄnga symboler och begrepp myntats för att försöka definiera och tillkÀnnage nÄgot unikt europeiskt, EU-medborgarskapet som det mest konkreta exemplet pÄ europeisk enhetlighet. Den hÀr uppsatsen analyserar sÀrskilt hur denna utveckling har sett ut i tre dokument publicerade inom EU och med liknande syften: att driva pÄ integration och sammanhÄllning. Genom att analysera dem utifrÄn en pluralistisk mÄngfalds- respektive partikularistisk enhetsdiskurs tydliggörs EU:s identitetsdiskurs. Vilka vÀrden har kopplats till det europeiska över tid? Samtliga dokument hÀnvisar, med olika mycket betoning, pÄ pluralistiska sÄvÀl som partikularistiska vÀrden som grund för en europeisk identitet.

The purpose of this essay was to examine female and male nursing students expectations and goals referring to the nursing profession from a gender perspective and examining the students reasons to apply for nursing school. A descriptive study with qualitative design was implemented. Data acquisition was made through interviewing ten nurse students, five male and five female. The interview material were analysed in accordance with Kvale?s method of analyzing.

This paper develops a theory for understanding negotiation situations involving states and indigenous peoples. Using relevant constructivist theory as a starting point, the paper develops a theory about understanding the relationship between power and culture implicit in the concept of the state. This relationship is examined in negotiations situations involving states and indigenous peoples. States are constituted by social structure and are representatives of the national culture. At the same time states are actors within the international system and a part of the culture of Westphalia.

This thesis examines the established theories on the phenomena of merger of equals. In contrast to an acquisition, a merger of equals is complex since the very nature of it entails that none of the involved parties are in control. Merger of equals are therefore viewed as one of the most difficult types of partnership and data show that over fourty percent of all mergers fail to achieve their targets. Still, research on the phenomena is limited. The main purpose of this thesis is to analyse the implicit factors to why a merger of equals fail.

The purpose of this study is, based on theories of gender and hegemonic masculinity, to studyhow masculinity and femininity is constructed and reproduced in one of the most popularSwedish podcast: Filip & Fredriks podcast. The main theory in this study is that gender issocially created and sustained by humans through language and interaction with others.The study's research questions is: How are gender roles/gender portrayed in Filip & Fredrik'spodcast? What characteristics are attributed to men and women in Filip & Fredrik's podcast?How does Filip & Fredrik's podcast represents conditions and power relations between menand women?Through an linguistic textual analysis, which is an application of discourse analysis, I seek toget beneath the surface meanings of texts and examine more implicit social meanings andideologies regarding gender. It includes an analysis of metaphors, word choices and syntax.The analysis shows underlying values and ideologies that indicates gender structures in abroader societal context. Choice of words and metaphores in Filip & Fredriks's podcastexpresses symbolism where men and male-typical attributes are highly valued, whilst womanand female-typical attributes is being devalued and representative of the opposite.Masculinities and femininities are also constructed and represented in various ways throughsentence constructions that guides the listeners in certain directions.

The purpose of this study was to examine social worker?s own experiences of dealing with gender perspectives in child welfare cases. With a constructionist perspective, this study is based on a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews. Six social workers were asked to reflect on their work and their methodology, and how it relates to gender perspectives when assessing children and adolescents in child welfare services.The result shows that there is a lack of control and review that children are given a gender neutral treatment. It also shows that there was no explicit protocol for how to take a gender perspective into account when assessing children and adolescents needs of welfare services.

Data byggdes upp av att anvÀndarna efter varje slutförd nivÄ, explicit fick lÀmna sitt betyg pÄ nivÄn i en skala mellan 1 och 5.Genom att introducera collaborative filtering och dÀr lÄta anvÀndarens tidigare betyg jÀmföras med övriga anvÀndare kan en predicering av kommande betyg ges. Vid jÀmförelser av olika collaborative filtering-algoritmer kunde den mest lÀmpliga upptÀckas och senare Àven anvÀndas.Resultaten visar att mer precisa uppskattningar av kommande betyg kan göras av collaborative filteringen Àn genom att anvÀnda nivÄns medelbetyg och resultaten leder dÀrför till slutsatsen att collaborative filtering kan ge skrÀddarsydda spelupplevelser för en unik anvÀndare och sÄledes förhöja dennes spelupplevelse..

This thesis examines the reasons behind the Swedish migration policy reform which led to a replacement of the Aliens Appeal Board by the Migration Court. This introduced a two-party procedure, oral hearings and enhanced transparency. It was designed to guarantee the rule of law and to thwart political arbitrariness.The transfer of power from representative institutions to judiciaries is referred to as judicialization, and the Migration Courts may be considered a typical example of this phenomenon. However, this can be questioned. The straggling nature of the term implies everything and anything unless cautiously defined.

SammandragUndersökningen behandlar hur inlÀrare i svenska som andrasprÄk, svas, uppfattar preteritum som omfattar nu-situationer. LÄngt ifrÄn att vara marginella, felaktiga uttryck, Àr bruket av detta idiomatiskt och har specifika syften och funktioner, fastÀn dessa kan vara diffusa och svÄrinringade.En enkÀt genomfördes bland gymnasieelever med svas-undervisning respektive modersmÄlssvenska, sv1, dÀr eleverna fick bedöma tio meningar dÀr verben i preteritum omfattar nu-situationer. Konstruktionen ansÄgs av informanterna som anvÀndbar, vardaglig och talsprÄklig, sÀrskilt av svas-eleverna. Huvudsakligen ansÄgs studiens meningar som dÄlig svenska, men frekvensen av elever som ansÄg dem felaktiga var högre bland svas-eleverna, vilka ÀndÄ anvÀnder liknande meningar.Svas-inlÀrarna uppvisade en större osÀkerhet kring bruket jÀmfört med svenska1-gruppen, men bara delvis genom underanvÀndning. OsÀkerheten rör snarare kÀnslan för huruvida uttryckssÀttet Àr korrekt eller inte..
