The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to develop knowledge about how librarians Experience their professional identity, argue for their competence and describe their profession based on their professional skills, tasks, and status. The method that is used to answer the questions of the study is semi-structured interviews with five public librarians. The theory used in this essay is Ørom?s six librarian identities plus Schreiber?s Experience intermediate identity.

Abstract Project as a method was defined in the American defense industry in the 1950´s and has since then developed to encompass many different areas such as industrial management, administration, research and development and IT etc. In the cultural sector project is a common way of organizing work and within theatre, which is the focus of this study, one can claim that project as a form of work has been used for hundreds of years, if not by definition.Theatre is generally assumed to be an form of art representing creativity and innovation, highly demanding from an individual perspective relative to the project result, i.e. the final performance. Time pressure, fierce competition, limited resources and responsibility to deliver on time with high quality are natural conditions given.The aim of the study is to find out what circumstances and conditions affect and have a clear impact on motivation and creativity in those working professionally within theatre.This study is based upon qualitative interviews with a limited number of employees with different occupations, within a major publicly-funded Swedish theatre institution.Contemporary research indicates both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation as essential for how we Experience and commit ourselves to our work, either as two separate forces but also as they interact.Extensive studies further state our individual Experience from work, the conditions provided by the organization and social environment as crucial to our work performance. A positive Experience from these factors enhance our motivation and creativity.The results of this study show theatre to be an activity supported by strong visions and clear goals where challenge and creativity are essential and where it´s members show strong commitment to the task whether they are beside or on the stage..

The purpose of this essay is to explore the significance for former drug addicts who, during their treatment against drug abuse, have had a therapist with a drug addiction in his or her past. A qualitative case study has been used as method in which four former drug users have been interviewed. We have compiled the results based on five key themes in order to get a comprehensive picture of the relevance of common Experiences regarding drug abuse, based on former addicts? Experiences. This has been done in connection with a review of different theoretical perspectives that we have found relevant to the investigation. Our findings have then been compared with previous research in the field.

The aim of this thesis is to examine user Experience and engagements in interactive cinema.A great deal of the research that is conducted today involves creating interactive films, toexplore and examine film structures. In this study, we build on this research by comparingthree different interactive film structures. To carry out our study, we have categorized threedifferent interactive films after three different models to define their narrative structureand interface. To examine the Experiences of those structures we have performed anexperiment where we have collected data from the three different sources; interviews,observations and surveys.It is difficult to draw conclusions about how an interactive film should be constructed asdifferent structures apply to different narratives. Based on our research the conclusion canbe made that the combination between the narrative structure, the narrative content, theaesthetics, the implementation of interactivity and how the film?s interface is constructed ismore important than building a specific structure for an interactive film.

Our lives in urban areas are becoming more and more inactive with negative effects on our mental and physical health. Natural environments and physical activity have the power to both prevent and reduce mental fatigue. Meanwhile we engage ourselves with physical activity, the nature fascinates us with its complexity. In April 2006, some of the visitors to the recreational area of Skrylle were asked to fill in a questionnaire which included questions about their habits within physical activity and the Experience of nature. We made qualitative interviews with six social welfare administrators who had been through this situation at work. The questions had been concentrated at how they were affected by the previous relationship, what expectations they had, and their view of how the business had been handled by their leader. Our purposes with this essay was from the perspective of young people that has completed a stay at HVB-home, their parents and the social welfare secretaries get an apprehension on their way of looking at the purpose of placement in a HVB-home agrees with the comprehensive view of the placement. We also wish to get a picture of what is of important to change in this matter. How do they Experience the reasons for the placement, goals and purpose? What positive and negative Experience do they have from their placement? What is relevant to change when you look at the different parties' ways of looking at change/progress in this matter? Our qualitative study is built upon interviews with the persons mentioned, upon educational visits to HVB-homes and upon interviews of staff at HVB-homes. The staffs opinion has also been compared with the other perspectives.

The aim of this study is to examine which factors in a traffic wardens? situation at work that promote and which that inhibit satisfaction at work. The aim of this study is also to examine if there are any differences in the work Experiences for traffic wardens that work alone versus those who work in a team of two. The following questions are examined in the study:?Which factors promote and which factors inhibit the work situation for traffic wardens??Are there any differences between traffic wardens that work alone and those who work with another colleague?The selection consisted of eight traffic wardens, of which four of them work with another colleague while the other four work by themselves.
