Bakgrund: Individualiseringen är något det talas om alltmer i dagens samhälle, men som samtidigt är vetenskapligt omtvistad, vilket visar på någon typ av paradox. Denna studie tar utgångspunkt i individualiseringen som diskurs, och vill undersöka om och hur den påverkat framställningar i samhällskunskapsböcker. Därmed prövas också teorin om läroboken som ett snabbföränderligt medium när det gäller politiskt laddade frågor.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning läroboksframställningar påverkas av samhälleliga diskurser, och att se huruvida individualiseringsdiskursen är en sådan typ av fråga som kan påverka framställningarna.Metod: Med en kvalitativ textanalys undersöks framställningar av arbetsliv och näringsliv i läroböcker i samhällskunskap för gymnasiet. Som analysinstrument används dimensionerna individfokus/kollektivfokus samt uttryck för individualism/uttryck för kollektivism. Sammanlagt sex böcker analyseras, två utgivna ca 1990, två utgivna ca 2000 och två utgivna ca 2010.Resultat: Individualiseringsdiskursen har påverkat framställningar i läroböcker.

In this thesis I am going to study how women experience working in a male-dominated occupation and how men experience working in a female-dominated occupation. I have chosen a qualitative method, interviewing four women and four men. By using this method I have gained a deeper understanding of what it is like having a non-traditional occupation. In the background I have looked into the unequal distribution of power between the sexes as well as the entrance of women on the labour-market, where the law of equality has had a major impact on the strive towards a more equal distribution according to sex. The theoretical part includes different theories where gender is focused, both when it comes to the biological differences as well as the segregation of sexes that prevails in society and here socialization heavily influences the choice of a vocation.

Background: Every day patient´s get isolated in hospitals as a consequense of infection control purposes. Physical isolation can result in lack of human contact and a new unknown environment for the patient. Those two factors can easily cause stress within the patient and create anxiety for the future. Aim: The aim of the study was to describe patient´s experience of being nursed in an isolation room. Method: The method that was used was a literature research, where earlier research findings were read and put together.

A study of the experience of collaboration of social welfare secretaries and school staff.The purpose of this study is to illustrate the importance of the work with children and youth through the joint efforts between different authorities. The study deals with the collaboration between the social services and schools in the Ludvika municipality. The objective of the study is to investigate how teaching personnel and headmasters in compulsory schools and the social welfare secretaries in Ludvika, experience the collaboration, and how this works. On the basis of the objective, we have formulated some relevant questions; To what degree are schools aware of the model of collaboration, which is the basis for collaboration within the municipality, and are there any differences in awareness between different categories of employees? Other questions deal with differences in how the social services and schools experience the collaboration, discrepancies between different schools in this regard and if the respondents? experience any obstacles and/or opportunities by the collaboration.Collaboration is, and has been, a pressing issue for a long time in the public debate.
