The aim of the study is to examine a book used as level-based teaching material, Denmagiska kulan (Wänblad, 2011), to analyse the progression within and between thedifferent levels, A, B and C, intended for use in grade 1. The material is designed so thatpupils at different levels in their reading development can share the same literature.Another aim is to study the connection between illustrations and text. This literaturestudy is based on both a qualitative and a quantitative method of analysis. Thequalitative method applies a readability analysis with the focus on the graphic form andthe language of the text. The quantitative method measures the LIX (readability index)of the texts.

In the project Barn av vår tid (Children of our time), I have worked with Fryshuset in Malmo and created an interior concept which is designed to express Fryshusets identity, support and encourage its activities and to create a functional environment for young people as well as staff. The purpose of this concept is to help teenagers to feel involved, important and safe. Floor plan, materials and furniture is carefully adapted to support the activities of Fryshuset and to give young people a feeling of coming home. They are also of course chosen with care for the environment. I have studied interior branding, how the rooms can give a sense of security and homely atmosphere and how young people can actively participate in the design of the premises..

Med utgångspunkt i barnbokens bilder analyseras och diskuteras temat döden och dess gestaltning. Syftet är att genom moderna teorier och metoder visa hur ett svårt tema gestaltats i ett antal moderna bilderböcker. Tillvägagångssättet i uppsatsen är analys av text, berättande, narration och ikonotext, med en efterföljande diskussion. Uppsatsen prövar olika moderna teorier och metoder för att resonera och problematisera gestaltningen av döden i barnbokens bilder. I uppsatsen redovisas hur en illustration kan innehålla visuella luckor skapade av illustratören, såväl som en text innehåller verbala luckor.

Följandet arbete är en reflekterande text som handlar om hur jag skapade ett verktyg för att balansera det rundbaserade precautionstridsystemet av spelet Dreamlords ? The Reawakening.I början förklaras mitt syfte och mål med arbetet som följs av en frågeställning kopplat till det. Jag kommer även att beskriva olika teorier som jag tittade närmare på angående spelbalansering. För att inleda läsaren till spelet Dreamlords ska jag även förklara den generella spelprincipen av hela spelet. Därefter tar jag upp min arbetsprocess som handlar om hur jag strukturerade upp mitt arbete.

Denna uppsats bygger på exempel tagna från en egen autentisk översättning av en tyskspråkig webbplats till svenska samt teori som stöd för lösningarna. Målet med översättningen var att åstadkomma en läsbar text genom att ta hänsyn till det speciella mediet och den varierande målgrupp som webbpublicering för med sig samt till textsorten som i detta fall var en säljande turisttext. De översättnings-problem som uppsatsen fokuserar på omfattar egennamn och kulturspecifika före-teelser, informationsstruktur samt tilltal. Det visade sig att texten krävde en hel del förklaringar och tillägg, men även en del strykningar genomfördes. För att åstad-komma en text som är tillgänglig för en stor publik krävdes också en del explicit-göranden i form av satskonnektorer för att texten ska flyta på, dvs.

In Malin Kivelä?s novel Du eller aldrig (2006) the reader experiences the world through the body of Aija, the narrator; a middle aged woman living in Helsinki. Aija has no family or other social relations. Hers is a life of strict routine: she spends her time reading, cleaning and studying snowflakes. Critics of the novel have stressed that Aija?s way of narrating creates a strong sense of presence in the text, but also that Aija?s atypical social behavior evokes a sense of loneliness and alienation.

Undersökningen koncentrerar sig främst på analys av bilder och text i läroböckerna och den innefattar två läroböcker från varje läroplansreform där antal avbildade kvinnor och män, antal kvinno- respektive mansrelaterade ord samt kvinnliga och manliga sysslor räknats. Studien visar att flickor får lite utrymme i de tidiga läroböckerna men att det i de moderna snarare råder jämvikt i fördelningen av de båda könen. När det gäller utövande sysslor infinner sig en förskjutning från kvinnor i kvinnliga sysslor i de äldre läroböckerna mot kvinnor i manliga sysslor i de moderna böckerna.

According to some researchers, dyscalculia is at least as prevalent as dyslexia. Somewhere between 3.6-6 % of all pupils have specific mathematics difficulties named dyslexia. If this be true, it should present the most complex special education predicament by far in schools today. Despite the statistics, dyscalculia is still a rather unknown concept.The cause of dyscalculia is not yet fully analyzed. There are several theories and many researchers see similarities between dyscalculia and the special educational problem of reading and writing, dyslexia.
