Hus byggs idag allt tätare för att möta högre miljökrav, ställda av både konsumenter och politiker. När hus byggs täta minskar luftläckaget genom klimatskalet. Tack vare det sänks energiåtgången då nästan all luft styrs genom en värmeväxlare. Tätheten i de nya husen har lett till att utsugande köksfläktar inte fungerar som de ska, beroende på att de behöver mycket luft. I detta projekt utvecklades ett utsugande köksfläktsystem för passivhus, de allra tätaste husen på marknaden.

Stump wood is a hot alternative when the heating plants demands more and more forest fuel. The aim with the study has bean to calculate the costs in four different systems for transportations of stump wood, examine if there are any differences in fuel quality for the stump wood in the different systems, analyse if the fuel quality in stump wood is affected with the time it lays by the road side and how much space the stump wood demands on the road side. To calculate the costs for the different systems a system analysis was carried out, where some of the costs were collected through field studies on Holmen Skog stump experiment and other costs were collected from literature and contacts. Data for the fuel quality study was collected from Eons heat plant in Norrköping. Data for the study of how much space stump wood takes along a roadside was collected from field studies.

In this report a study has been done regarding different heating systems on which are the mostcomprehensive with solar heating systems. The report has also been focusing if solar power can beused as a primary heating source for supplying more than 50 % of the buildings total heatingproduction. The University of Dalarna constructed a demo-house for this purpose and according tocalculations the total solar usage is more than 50 %. This house has been made for referenceregarding the design of the heating system of property 5:37.Further studies have been made to compare different heating systems that are compatible with asolar system, where the compared systems purpose is to be independent of direct using electricity. Asystem of this design is regarded as sustainable according to environmental as economic issues.

A two-factor design of experiments done on GGAB for the identification of two selected factors influence on the length of the scattering of heat exchanger gaskets. The work consists of four parts: study, choice of survey method, the performance of investigation and analysis of the results. Chosen factors on the study are considered to be the most effecting of the length distribution of seals during the production of GGAB. The study is the first of its kind both in GGAB and in the rubber industry and has an experimental nature..

Under detta projekt har vi tittat på hur man kan återladda en bergvärmekonfiguration med lågtempererade solfångare. Projektet utfördes åt Newsec Energy i Stockholm vars kund samfälligheten Ängsbacken ville minska andelen tillskottsenergi som utgörs av olja till sin bergvärmeanläggning. En utredning av anläggningen gjordes av Newsec Energy som visade att berget kylts ned och att anläggningens borrhål varit underdimensionerade. Vi fick uppdraget att utveckla en systemlösning med lågtempererade solfångare..

The project was made in cooperation with Coffee Queen AB, Arvika. The task was to develop and design a new cooler for the milk to Jura Impressa X9, an espresso machine. The good assistance with staff at Coffee Queen and engineers in China and at KPA in Karlstad led to a solution to the problem. It was a long road to get there, many different concepts was developed. When the day came to decide which concept to work with, the choice stood between two different technical solutions.

A Biogas plant in SLU?s (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences) management sustains to behave in con-nection with the new animal stables at Lövsta. There will primarily manure from stables that rot to biogas. The biogas plant will also have the capacity that rot others substrates that can arise in the farm operation. The aim with the biogas plant is to produce non fossil electrical and gas heat for own customs, to reduce smell impact from stables and to make possible different types of research investments within the area.This study has implemented multiple cases study of different investment scenarios.

Uppdraget var att framföra olika pumpalternativ till den framtida pumpstationen och ge en LCC-analys för varje alternativ. Två helt skilda pumptyper har utretts, Arkimedespumpen och centrifugalpumpen. Två alternativ för Arkimedespumpen och ett alternativ för centrifugalpumpen har tagits i beaktande.

The authors of this report addressed the problem with moisture in attics when they started their cooperation with Peab.The methods included interviews with people, database research, and calculations of a project in Akersberga north of Stockholm. The conclusion is based on interviews and other information as they are analyzed in relation to the house of reference. The focus of this report is on problems with moisture in the attics known as cold attics.The background of the problem with moisture is that today?s slabs are usually insulated to save energy and that the attics nearly gives the climate as the outdoor climate.

This report is of technical character and treats how to plan a small building in Borlänge, Sweden.The technical components that have been treated in the report are the construction, foundation,installations and thermic abilities of the house. In addition to planning this house the report alsocontains a part that deepens in net zero energy buildings. The purpose of the report is toinvestigate if the house in Borlänge can be constructed to meet net zero energy buildingdemands.Energy efficient houses such as passive- and net zero energy houses are showing more frequenton the market in Sweden. Ongoing climate changes and growing consciousness about theenvironment in society have contributed to that the environment is a well discussed topic. Toconsume small amounts of energy and at the same time produce local energy is thereforesomething that lies in the future and future houses.

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att genomföra en nulägesanalys av Hall 7 på Sapa Heat Transfer AB i Finspång. Utifrån nulägesanalysen togs åtgärdsförslag fram som kan generera en effektivare uppvärmning, mindre yttre utsläpp och behagligare arbetsklimat. Problemet i Hall 7 är att processventilationen för varmvalsverk 2051 är ålderstigen och underdimensionerad, den saknar även värmeåtervinning och rening av processfrånluften. Detta leder till oplanerade driftstopp, höga underhållskostnader samt hög energianvändning.För att finna åtgärdsförslag för dessa problem genomfördes en nulägesanalys av Hall 7 genom att mäta luftflöden och temperaturer, analysera utsläppsmätningar och energianvändning samt intervjua personal.Utifrån dessa mätningar har fyra olika åtgärdsförslag tagits fram. De fyra åtgärdsförslagen är benämns: YIT, YIT (Enklare), Homehall och Ökad tilluft.Det åtgärdsförslag som anses vara bäst lämpat för att generera en effektivare uppvärmning, ge mindre yttre utsläpp samt ett behagligare arbetsklimat i Hall 7 är åtgärdsförslag Homehall.

Abstract Background: In 1997 the Kyoto Protocol was signed, it?s an international agreement which is aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Sweden's goal is to reduce energy using in buildings with 20 percent by 2020 and 50 percent by 2050. This is a comparison with levels from 1995 (Glad, 2006). For Sweden to be able to reach its goals, they need to construct more low-energy buildings (Åhman, Wahlström & Lundblad, 2010).
