The purpose of this study is to improve the understanding of the dynamics behind Chinese-Western buyer-supplier relationships. The study takes on a partially inductive approach by commencing with exploratory in-depth interviews. The main body of the study consists of a cross-sectional survey. Data has been collected through an on-line questionnaire. The theoretical review consists of industrial relationships with specific accounts on the role of adaptation, trust and commitment; a stream of literature in cross-cultural relationships deriving from Hofstede?s culturalist legacy with specific reference to Chinese-Western relationships, including studies on relationship bonding, and the role of guanxi.

Belöningar till företagsledare har i massmedia varit ett debatterat ämne, de senaste 10 åren har det skett en ökning av tillämpningen av rörliga ersättningar. Belöningssystem används som en mekanism i företagsstyrning för att ägarna skall motivera de anställda att agera i enlighet med ägarnas intressen. Ett belöningssystem kan ha flera funktioner, en är att fungera som incitament med syftet att få en individ att agera framåt. Belöningssystem kan även användas i motivationssyfte för att uppnå att en individ skall förvärva ett av principalen önskvärt beteende. Vårt syfte med uppsatsen har varit att studera komposition av belöningssystem i aktiebolag i Sverige och se på hur specifika faktorer påverkar utformningen av belöningssystem.

This essay in historical archaeology deals with cultural-historical values of buildings and inthis case the old train- and ferrystation in Helsingborg. The building has from the day of itsopening in 1898 been exposed to threats of demolition since its original purpose was as atemporary building with intension of being replaced within a couple of years. After havingseen two World Wars, eventhough Sweden never participated, and the ferrytraffic with its upsand downs the station was an important part of Helsingborg. All the ferrytraffic over the straitto Denmark was handeled by the old train- and ferrystation untill 1955, when a competativeferrycompany was built close to the old station. After a hundred years of service the oldstation was closed down when a new station was built i Helsingborg in 1991 with theintension of gathering all travelers in one building.

AbstractIdag är det ca 30 % av befolkningen som upplever någon form av psykisk ohälsa, mångasöker vård via primärvården där de hänvisas till Hälsocentraler som erbjuder KBT behandlingför psykisk ohälsa. De flesta söker för diagnoser som depression och ångesttillstånd. Eftersomdet kan vara långa köer för individuell terapi erbjuds KBT behandling i grupp som ettalternativ till enskild terapi.Denna studie är en utvärdering av en KBT behandling i grupp inom Primärvården vid enHälsocentral i norra Sverige. Sex deltagare har intervjuats efter avslutad gruppbehandling.Materialet i studien har genomgått en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Teman som framkom istudien är psykologisk flexibilitet, perspektivtagande, smågruppsprocesser,beteendeförändringar och tilltro till den egna förmågan.Resultatet visar på att samtliga deltagare är positiva till den behandling i gruppform som deerbjudits.

The purpose of this thesis is to historically describe how Fédération Internationale deFootball Association (FIFA) interprets how the discourse of anti-racism has developed withintheir own organization throughout the years. In doing so, the thesis lands in a present timeperspective and then aims to identify the norms which FIFA, according to the organizationitself, stands for in regard to anti-racism within world football. That standard of behavior isthen put in contrast with the hidden ideological conceptions which, with the applying of apost-colonial perspective, can be found in the rhetoric used by FIFA in expressing themselvesabout their anti-racism stand.The methodology used in this thesis builds upon a qualitative text analysis approach inwhich solely primary sources available through the official website fifa.com are considered.The study finds that anti-racism is a relatively young concept within FIFA and that the communicatedideal standard of behavior circles around terms such as unity, diversity, solidarityand equality. Further on, FIFA clearly articulates how the universal power of football as suchcan unite people and that FIFA, as the administrator of this the world?s greatest sport, can setan example for the rest of the world to follow when it comes to notions of tolerance and solidarityin preventing racism in the future.In following the terminology provided by the post-colonial theorists Homi Bhabha andGyatri Spivak, and applying the concepts of fixity and essentialism on the rhetoric aroundanti-racism, the study discovers that FIFA, in sharp contrast to the articulated norms, in factexpress ideological conceptions of skin as a barrier of difference between people, and thatFIFA on good grounds can be accused of reproducing racist stereotypes rather than bridgingthem.The study concludes that its findings clearly demonstrates the increased need of consideringsports, and more specifically international sport organizations, as a basis for researchwithin the academic field of International Relations, and that a postcolonial perspective verymuch can provide alternative understandings of how these actors operate and what influencethey might have in the international system..

”Fan fiction writing”, or the writing of stories based upon a popular entertainment franchise, has become a topic of academic discussion. Fan fiction writers have waked the ire of movie producers, since they often write fiction that is in direct contradiction to the movie’s plot or spirit. While most academic studies on fan fiction have concentrated on his confrontational aspect of the writers’ psyches, we have found that the writers actually have a much more nuanced approach to their work, and are not necessarily hostile towards the directors and producers. Even more surprising is the fact that the internet, beyond giving the writers a forum to post their writings, has potentially had a transformative impact on how the writers interact with each other and with the outside world. .

Introduction Every tenth patient in Sweden is affected by nosocomial infections. Among these, urinary tract infection (UTI) is the most frequently occurring within the hospital environment. Nosocomial infections lead to increasing costs for care, more suffering among the patients, increasing use of antibiotics, and longer treatment spells. The Academic hospital have engaged all wards in the so called VRISS-project (?nosocomial infections must be stopped?) in order to reduce the number of nosocomial infections.Aim In connection to the VRISS-project new routines for removal of uretrahl catheters are introduced at ward 70E2 at the Academic hospital.

The purpose of this study has been to analyze the relationship between commercial brands and a subculture, with a focus on a number of elements of success. These elements could be in the nature of sale stats as well as that of influence within the subculture. All of this within the context of the snowboard culture. In accossiation to this we have formulated a question of study:What marks brands which gains influence within a subculture in addittion to becoming an important factor in the self-expression process of the cultural members?In this study, we have practised a qualitative method based on six (6) independant interviews with participants, active within the snowboard culture as well as one outside marketing executive and one ethnological reseracher.

När en människa utsatts för en traumatisk händelse, sätts en psykisk reaktion igång. När reaktionen inte mattats av kan det leda till att individen utvecklar Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Denna studie fokuserade på vilka faktorer som ökar risken för PTSD samt vilka faktorer som har betydelse för omhändertagandet. Metoden som användes i denna studie var en systematisk litteraturstudie. Författarna började med en databassökning i Pubmed och Chinal.

Syfte: Syftet är att skapa en ökad förståelse för hur offentliga verksamheter i mindre kommuner uppfattar och hanterar utmaningarna vid chefsrekrytering samt vad som ligger till grund för hur de hanterar det. Metodik: En tvärsnittsstudie på offentlig sektor i Kalmar Län har använts som forskningsstrategi med en induktiv ansats. Genom en kvalitativ metod med åtta semi-strukturerade intervjuer har vi producerat fram data. Slutsats: Studien har visat att offentliga verksamheter i mindre kommuner upplever ett problem i att finna lämpliga kandidater till chefstjänster, men ser inte det som krisartat. För att hantera rekryteringssvårigheterna utnyttjar offentliga verksamheter i mindre kommuner både operativa och strategiska åtgärderna.

Efficient Risk Management will secure the businesses survival, assets and creates market advantages. The interest of information security has consequently gained in Swedish corporations. Corporations have realized the importance of the information which is stored in the IT systems. IT is the tool for businesses future progress and growth and therefore a source of risks.

Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån kriminalvårdspersonalens bild söka förståelse för vad fängelsepåföljd för lagöverträdare med utvecklingsstörning kan innebära. Vår undran var om fängelseanstalter har resurser att rehabilitera och vårda personer med utvecklingsstörning som har särskilda behov. Vi ville även undersöka vilka effekter fängelsepåföljd kan få för personer med utvecklingsstörning. Ytterligare en fråga var om det i dagsläget finns andra alternativ till slutna anstalter för dessa lagöverträdare. Med en kvalitativ ansats har vi via telefon intervjuat två kriminalvårdsinspektörer och erhållit svar via e-post från ytterligare två kriminalvårdsinspektörer inom kriminalvården, samt erhållit svar via e-post från en sakkunnig person inom kriminalvårdens huvudkotor.

Ämnet för uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka kommunikationsverktyg gymnasieelever på Kungsmadskolan i Växjö använder sig av för att kommunicera på Internet, vilka motiv som ligger bakom valet av kommunikationsverktyg och det fortsatta användandet. Uppsatsen inriktar sig på fem olika typer av kommunikationsverktyg: chatt, Internetforum, community, Internettelefoni och e-post. Undersökningens syfte är föreståelseinriktat, vilket innebär att vi ämnar att undersöka och förstå vilka motiv som avgör gymnasieelevernas val. Vi har valt en kvalitativ metod för vår undersökning. Vi har genom diskussion med två stycken fokusgrupper indelade i en med bara killar och en med bara tjejer från Kungsmadskolan i Växjö samlat in empirisk data.
