This project includes development of new packaging for dry spices and an investigation of how to automate the production line. The preliminary investigations show needs of an environmental friendly packaging possible to re-close. After screening for suitable materials three concepts were developed, a stand-up pouch, a plastic jar and a metal can. The pouch was Excluded in a concept choosing process. In this process it was also decided to further develop the metal can concept.

Stroke is a widespread disease in Sweden. Nurses play a central part for those who suffer from a stroke irrespective of where in the care chain they meet. To be able to meet the patients? need of care the nurse must understand his/her lifeworld. Each and every patient is unique and the experience of being struck by a stroke depends on personality and life situation.

The murders of Pela Atroshi, Sara Abed Ali and Fadime Sahindal, started a debate concerning the underlying motives of honour related violence. This paper aimed to describe and explain in what way honour related violence is perceived in publications by academics, public authorities and voluntary organisations to name a few. Different types of literature were thematically analysed as well as analysed using a model by Lorentzon. The scope of this paper was narrowed down to Swedish conditions and Excluded men as victims of honour related crimes.The conclusion suggests a definition of honour related violence as a result of general patriarchy with different features. For example, men?s honour is connected to women?s behaviour and retaining of virginity.

Nurses have a fundamental responsibility to relieve suffering, and also to offer support to both the individual and the family.Aim: To illuminate experiences of being a family member to a person with schizophrenia.Method: A systematic literature review was chosen. Nine articles were included. After having analyzed the results six categories were found.Result: The family members experienced the disease as fluctuating and stressful. Some felt ashamed for their sick family member and withdrew from the rest of the society.

This is an analysis of the music in the television-series The Tudors (2007 ? 2010). The opening credits and how death is portrayed musically in the last episode are analyzed. My question is what functions the music has. The method used is Michel Chion?s masking-method.

The overall purpose with this study was to examine the influence elderly people have over their granted home help. Specifically, the aim was to examine in what extent the image of the elderly as a unique individual emerges in the plans where the home help is described [?genomförandeplaner?]. A plan which is personally designed is used as an indicator of personal influence. A text analysis inspired by Michel Foucault?s discourse concept, was carried out and the study adopts the concepts standardization and categorization as well as the theory of ?Sense of coherence?.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to examine the discourses of concepts related to diversity and ethnicity in Swedish cultural policy. It focuses on how the society is presented in different contexts and how people with a different ethnic origin than the majority, are represented in the cultural policy of the Swedish State. The study is restricted to concern immigrants. Six governmental cultural policy documents, reaching over a time period of eight years 1995-2003 are examined as follows: Which key terms are used in the presentations? Which contexts and discourses can be distinguished? Have the discourses changed over the time period examined, and if so, how? The theoretical starting point in the thesis is the discourse perspective of Laclau and Mouffe.

AbstractPurpose: The purpose of this study was to see if there was any correlation between BMI and chronic pain among participants who underwent a behavioural medicine rehabilitation program at a pain clinic in the central part of Sweden. Method: The study was conducted as a quantitative descriptive study context and has used medical records with documented data from the participants who were part of a pain clinic rehabilitation programs in the years 2004-2005. Altogether there were 76 participants in these years and Excluded was nine participants with BMI measurements were not included in the documentation. Main Results: Regarding the relationship between BMI and chronic pain there was no significant relationships. Participants who completed the behavioural medicine rehabilitation program, however, showed a lower value of BMI and the estimated pain in VAS from the first to the third which is the last time of measuring.

Background:Several studies have shown there has been significant lack of knowledge about women who have sex with women cross infect each other with STIs. It has been less likely that women who have sex with women visit health care than heterosexuals, they often felt badly treated, invisible and did not always know where to turn in case of an STI. Objective: The objective was to examine if STI information from Kalmar and Växjö county websites and GCK-summit, targeted women who have sex with women. Method: With a queer theoretical perspective a critical discourse analysis was made by STI information on the internet. Results: Women who have sex with women have been Excluded in the STI information currently available through Kalmar and Växjö county websites.

This study aims at investigating the spousal relationships of persons who have been diagnosed with dementia and are living in a nursing home. Eight spouses? descriptions of their relationship, spousal interaction and the relationship´s impact on the spouse´s life were captured through qualitative interviews. The results show three main types of interaction patterns: one of spousal joy and happiness; a combination of both happiness and sadness; and a pattern of no positive reactions. The strength of the relationship was based on the analysis of trust, intimacy and commitment to the relationship.

The purpose with this essay is to investigate which factors that are decisive for nurses? propensity for incident reporting. The study uses a descriptive cross-section design. Included are nurses that works at a care unit and who have worked as a nurse for > 1than one year. The survey was sent out to all nurses embraced by the criteria within a subdivision at a hospital in the middle of Sweden.

This report aims to study the condominium prices in central Stockholm and the factors thataffect these prices. A linear regression model was set up and data about relevant covariatessuch as floor area, mortgage rates and where the condominium is situated were gathered toassess if and how they influence the price. The raw data was processed and enhanced to gain asmuch relevant information as possible to the model. To determine the covariates? influence onthe final price, regressions were ran and various tests were performed on the output data.

Background: Anorexia nervosa is a disease that often strikes teenager girls. The causes of the disease are not entirely known, but there are redeemed and maintenanced factors. The factors describes as biological, psychological and sociocultural. Aim: The aim of the study was to illuminate the nurses problem in caring of girls that developed anorexia nervosa. Method: The method of this essay is a literature study.
