Omvårdnadsarbetet präglas dagligen av beröring som sjuksköterska krävs det att man hela tiden hittar nya vägar för att främja hälsa. Att leva med kronisk eller svår sjuk-dom leder till ett stort lidande och hela den enskilda män-niskans liv förändras. Syftet med denna studie var att se vilka påverkan kroppslig beröring har vid kronisk eller svår sjukdom. Metod som använts är en systematisk litte-raturöversikt. Studien resulterade i sex kategorier, Smärt-lindring, Avslappnande och rogivande, Välbefinnande, bekräftelse och trygghet, Ökad aktivitets nivå, Minskad vårdtid och läkemedelsanvändning samt Andning och cir-kulation.

This report is a B.Sc. Forestry thesis work at the school for Forest Management, SLU. The work was an assignment from the forest owners? association Mellanskog. The aim of the work where to investigate the economical result of removing undergrowth trees before first thinning, and a follow-up of the contractors and their compliance with Mellanskog standards. This thesis work was divided in three parts: The first was to find a relation between the net volume from the first thinning and the cost of cleaning undergrowth trees. Secondly there was a follow-up in the field, to investigate whether the contractors have done the undergrowth cleaning according to Mellanskog?s directives.

AimThe aim of this study was to examine the views on bullying in the context of physical education among pupils studying at intermediate level through a gender perspective.The following questions where used in the examination.In what ways does the views on bullying differ between girls and boys?How is bullying manifested during classes in physical education?How do girls and boys experience cross-gender and same-gender bullying?MethodThe study is based upon a survey with questions of both quantitative and qualitative disposition. A total of 210 pupils from areas in and around Stockholm participated in the study, all studying at intermediate level. The participants consisted of 92 girls and 116 boys (two declined). The selection of participating schools where made out of convenience.

Varför behövs denna undersökning?Då det vid produktlansering är känt att ett stort antal misslyckas med att uppfylla marknadens behov av produkter är det vid lansering ochpatentering av nya innovationsprodukter vitalt att undersökamarknadens behov av produkten. På så sätt går det att möjliggöra ettpositivt utfall och nå en stabil marknadsposition. This examination project focuses on the pupils and teachers experience of written assessments and grades.  To highlight the significance of assessments and grades we will present the background to the development of the current educational view of knowledge, assessment and marking models.  Today?s current laws and policies are described as is a proposal for a future law and grading scheme.The project is based on literature we have read and the empirical material is derived from interviews with eight students and two teachers. Four of the students are eleven years old, the other four are between seventeen and nineteen. The teachers teach years four and five. Each sex is equally represented.  The interview questions are based on the students memories and personal development discussions in which the written assessments were presented.

The title of this monography is Discourses of Writing in the Curriculum of the A-course in Swedish. The aim of this monograph is to find wich forms and discourses of writing that are emphasized and premiered in the curriculum for the first course in Swedish during secondary education in Sweden, grades 10-12. What kind of writing are presented to the students and what potentially miss due to the selection? Is any form of writing presented more thoroughly or as more important than any other in the curriculum?The professor of linguistics, Roz Ivanic, has formed different discourses of writing that she has found being used in education of writing. With these discourses of writing  I have applied them on the curriculum and then been able to see wich forms of writing that are premiered.

In recent years there has been an upsurge in products and activities designed for infants, what is known as baby culture. The essay is a discourse analysis covering the part of baby culture which is concerned with infants and books. The essay studies texts from libraries and children?s bookclubs in order to understand what it is they communicate, to whom and the conceivable consequences of the communicated message. One of the main purposes of the study is to determine what view of infants as social and cultural beings it  is that arises from the texts.

Safety in the construction industry has become a question of top priority in recent years. Despite a massive investment of time, money and knowledge, the occur-rence of fatal accidents in Sweden alone is around one a month.The purpose of this study is therefore to improve the safety on the construction site. By an examination of the role of the safety agents and their cooperation with the construction workers and supervisors as well as examine how safety agents can improve safety on the construction site, which is the goal of the study.Four questions were formulated based on the purpose and the goal of the study.The methods used to answer the questions were a questionnaire survey, multiple interviews, a literature review and a document analysis.The report describes the safety agent?s role as a complex one with many different tasks. The role of the safety agents is regulated in the health and safety law, but it can sometimes be difficult to interpret and the agents can therefore interpret their role differently.

Human rights have been added to the new curriculum which came into force the 1st of July 2011 in the Swedish Upper Secondary school. The purpose with this master thesis is to compare the old and the new curriculum as part of an examination of what way they affect the Social Science education. Further the analysis focus on what is affecting discourses in the Social Science about human rights, as well as its communication and incorporation in its education. The empirical material consists of the schools steering documents and interviews with Social Science teachers. The theoretical framework is based on human rights education (HRE) and curriculum theory.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att planera, genomföra och utveckla en lektionssekvens i naturvetenskap där sagan och berättandet som form används som metod. Undervisningen handlade främst om fotosyntes och fröets livsbetingelser. Eleverna gick i årskurs fyra. Resultatet bestod av planering, genomförande och utvärdering av fem lektionstillfällen, samt en enkät där elevernas inställning till sagoläsning och sagoskrivning undersöktes. Slutsatsen är att eleverna var positivt inställda till sagoläsning, men inte lika positiva vid sagoskrivning.

Retrospective data from two stud farms, in this study named stud farm A and B, including 742 mares, was statistically analysed. Parameters included in the analysis were type of insemination, date of the first insemination, number of inseminations, the age of the mares, if the mares had a foal or not, foaling date, result of pregnancy examination (if it was done), twin pregnancy and treatments given to the mares. The pregnancy results and the treatments where compiled into a number of frequency tables in which the mares where arranged according to age, month of first insemination, foal or not and type of insemination. There was a significant difference in pregnancy result between the years at both stud farms (2001 better than 2002). At stud farm A, in year 2001, month (at start of insemination) significantly influenced the pregnancy result.

Visuell kommunikation är något som vi dagligen stöter på i vår vardag, i form av reklamannonser, reklamfilmer, skyltningar osv. Skyltfönster är en form av visuell kommunikation, och fungerar som företagens ansikte utåt och det skapar ofta en första bild hos mottagaren om företaget.  Enligt köpbeslutsprocessen är reklam den mest förekommande informationskälla som påverkar konsumenten i köpbeslutet. Denna studie kommer att utgå från Kotler och Kellers modell av köpbeslutsprocessen, som följer kunden före, under samt efter köpet. Modellen består av fem steg, problem erkännande, informationssökning, utvärdering av valmöjligheter, köpbeslut och efter köpbeteende.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka och beskriva hur arbetet som anhörigkonsulent inom äldreomsorgen ser ut. Studiens frågeställningar är vilka former av stöd som erbjuds anhöriga till äldre personer, på vilket sätt anhörigstöd och sjukvård samverkar gällande anhöriga till äldre personer samt hur stödet för män respektive kvinnor ser ut.Studien har ett kvalitativt utgångsläge varav tolv anhörigkonsulenter har intervjuats. Resultatet påvisar att informanterna erbjuder samtalsstöd i form av enskilda samtal och gruppsamtal, direkt stöd i form av exempelvis rådgivning och indirekt stöd i form av att till exempel hänvisa den anhöriga rätt. Resultatet visar även att det finns en samverkan mellan anhörigstöd och sjukvård men att den i många fall kunde ha fungerat bättre. Informanterna menar att det stöd de erbjuder män respektive kvinnor ser likadant ut.

The Circle is a strong form that influences the landscape. It also has symbolic value which influences our feelings and experiences. This Thesis project examines the Circles? characteristics and its significance in various connections. The goal of this Thesis is to examine what role the Circle plays in various situations and what motives there are for using it is landscape architecture. The basis for this Thesis work is a proposal which has been drawn up for development of the rural area between the villages of Hofterup and Löddeköping in the municipality of Kävlinge.
