Denna uppsats handlar om öppna förskolan, en verksamhet för barn och föräldrar som vissa kommuner väljer att tillhandahålla. Trots att verksamheten funnits drygt 30 år, är den sparsamt utforskad. Uppsatsarbetet har därför inriktats mot ett explorativt sökande efter olika föreställningar om öppna förskolan. Föreställningarna har på formuleringsarenan eftersökts i tryckta källor, och på realiseringsarenan genom en etnografiskt inspirerad fältstudie i två öppna förskolor. Syftet har varit att uppnå förståelse för arenornas föreställningar om öppna förskolan och hur dessa föreställningar förhåller sig till varandra.

SSAB tunnplåt AB i Luleå vill kunna styra processerna i masugnen, vid stålverket och koksverket på ett sådant sätt att i första hand gränsvärden och i andra hand riktvärden inte ska kunna överskridas mot recipienten Inre Hertsöfjärden. För att kontrollera att dessa värden inte överskrids sker varje vecka egenkontroller av SSAB:s vattensystem. Vid driftstörningar sker dessa egenkontroller dagligen om det är nödvändigt. Som ett led i denna egenkontroll har SSAB behov av att skaffa sig bättre uppfattning om uppehållstider och utspädningsfunktioner i de befintliga systemen som finns tillgängliga för transport av kyl- och processvattnet. Syftet med detta examensarbete har därför varit att ta fram ett underlag, angående uppehållstider och utspädningseffekter i vattensystemen på metallurgiområdet och på koksverket, som SSAB kan använda sig av vid driftproblem eller driftstopp.

Electric bikes are a convenient mode of transport, a good choice when long distances or tough slopes can be an obstacle.The goal of the project was to create a prototype on a locking mechanism with an inductive charger for electric bikes.The idea behind the project was to develop a user-friendly locking mechanism, where the bikes would be charged inductively when they were locked. To implement the project facts about induction, battery charging and locking devices was needed to be acquired. Circuits for induction charging were created and a lock device was constructed. A microprocessor was used to control the entire system.A prototype was designed with a locking device and an inductive charger fixed in a bike rack.The entire project became very wide which resulted in that not all of the parts of the project could be completed.

The artist Pehr Hilleström has been credited as the founder of the Swedish genre painting. In the second half of the 18th century he began painting everyday subjects of the different social stratums. Today his paintings are noted for their way of showing us the culture of the time since the photograph still had still not been introduced.   Hilleström was a court painter for King Gustav III who wanted him to depict the Swedish people and their different costumes. The king thought the costumes were of great significance for their psychological impact on people and therefore used them as a way to unite the nation psychologically, both by the genre paintings and also by making a national costume. The costumes were used as a symbol of an unbroken tradition and national heritage.

There is a contradiction between not wanting to be alone, craving for fellowship, but still not wanting to socialize with just anybody. The purpose with this paper is to inquire into individuals experiences of loneliness and of fellowship, as well as the tension between individual/ and social needs. The empirical material consists of five semistrucured interviews with a mix of individuals with one common factor; they were all frequently visited the meeting/place Nyfiket in Helsingborg during the summer 2011. The aim of the study was to investigate if methane emission in a constructed wetland changed in a diurnal pattern correlating to temperature, humidity or light conditions. The gas measurements were carried out with a static chamber technique. The wetland (in Nykvarn outside of Linköping, Sweden) takes care of wastewater to reduce the nitrogen loads. Measurements were carried out at three different occasions in the summer of 1998 on two sites in the wetland. One site was close to the inflow, inhabited by Lemnaceae, and another site was located further downstream inhabited by the emergent macrophyte Typha latifolia.

En kraftig expansion inom Perstorp Components de senaste åren, har inneburit att användningen av emballage ökat och därmed också emballagekostnaderna. Målsättningen med föreliggande studie har varit att undersöka om det är möjligt att reduceraemballagekostnaderna genom att införa internemballage.Arbetet delades in i tre faser. Den första var en identifikationsfas där dagens flöden skulle kartläggas. Därefter analyserades flödena och slutligen jämfördes olika emballagealternativ för att utröna vilka alternativ som var mest fördelaktiga.Det vanligast förekommande emballaget i dag kommer från Volvo Transport, som hyr ut emballage. Utöver emballage från Volvo Transport används pallar av olika slag, på vilka vanligtvis lådor av wellpapp placeras.Samtliga flöden som är större än 450 m3 per år, samt mindre flöden som kan inkluderas i de större, analyserades för att undersöka möjligheterna till reduktion av kostnaderna genom införande av internemballage.

This thesis is about how students see their education, creativity and future based on our understanding of the concept of entrepreneurial learning. The aim is to highlight if and how this relatively new concept in the school world is rooted in pupils everyday lives. To get answers to our questions, we talked to students about their thoughts and reflections on their schooling, but also their views on how they think their future will look like. We have also examined what students associate to the concept of creativity by letting the pupils make a mind map during the interview sessions. Research and theories are talking about how to conduct school education, but despite all this knowledge the results in today´s schools drops.

Abstract Background: More and more people receiving palliative care in the home, leading to increased responsibility for the next of kin. Being a caregiver and at the same time next of kin is a complex situation for everyone involved. Next of kin´s everyday life changes drastically when everything revolves around the one who is seriously ill.Aim: To describe next of kin´s experiences of being caregivers to a palliative sick person at home. Method: A literature review in which eleven qualitative scientific articles were analyzed and summarized. Results: The results revealed three themes; experience of support, experience of changes in life and experience of strategies.

Vid storskalig slakt utsätts nötkreatur för många stressande faktorer, såsom transport, nya miljöer och gruppkonstellationer samt hårdhänt hantering. Stressen utgör ett hot mot djurens välfärd och är en viktig orsak till ekonomiska förluster för slakteriet i form av DFD-kött och kassationer. Alternativa metoder till slakthusen såsom mobil slakt arbetas fram, men är idag inte tillräckligt lönsamma för att klara av konsumenternas krav på stora mängder kött till lågt pris. Denna pressade ekonomiska situation gör det även svårt för slakterierna att göra miljön bättre anpassad för djuren. Därför är det av intresse att undersöka möjligheterna att erhålla lugna djur som är mindre påverkade av slaktsituationen.

The aim of this study is to examine present forms of interaction between Child Welfare Clinics (Barnavårdscentraler, BVC), and libraries. The study departs from the user?s perspective, i.e. how the parents evaluate the information they are given about the library and its resources to provide information they want in their present and new situation. In two local communities the survey looks into how parents of babies are informed about the library in meetings arranged as part of the information and support program provided by BVC.

Background:The definition of mental illness is characterized by a lack of management regarding mood, thoughts or behavior. It is difficult for the person to cope with everyday duties as well as relationships with other people.The study revealed that the society should take action to prevent social isolation for those with mental illness. The central concepts of care theory is love, learning and well-being, where nurses' conditions and actions create results in the patient.Aim:Describe skills and prerequisites nurses need at the meeting of patients with mental illness. A further aim was to examine the ethical considerations included studies made use of.Method:A descriptive literature studyMain result:Nurses feel they do not have skills regarding mental illness. When nurses care for patients with mental illness are often formed stigmatizations regarding these patient groups and care will suffer.
