?Dissociation av igenkänningsminnet med ortogonala variationer av egenskaperna frekvens och celebritet hos personnamn?

Tidigare studier har gett stöd för att igenkänningsminnet understöds av minst två processer: erinring (recollection) och familjaritet. Detta testades i två beteendeexperiment, inom ett Remember/Know paradigm (experiment 1) och ett Ja/Nej paradigm där Receiver - Operating Characteristics (ROC) beräknades (2). I ett påföljande Event - related potentials (ERP) experiment undersöktes vidare distinktionen mellan minnesprocesserna under återvinning. Deltagarna studerade namn med två former av pre - experimentell familjaritet, namnfrekvens och celebritet, vilka kombinerades till ortogonala variationer av dimensionerna. Frekvens operationaliserades som antalet träffar i den nationella telefonkatalogen och celebritet som antalet träffar i massmediala webbsidor.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate and analyse factors that may have an influence and can affect a brand?s development and change over time. By doing this we want to clarify which factors it is important for a company to understand and gain control over.To find the answer to our thesis we have carried out six semi-structured interviews which all were of qualitative character. The reason why we chose to work with the qualitative methodology was mainly that we wanted to achieve a deeper knowledge about our choice of subject. The empiric data that we have gathered have been compared and combined with our theories and resulted in our analysis which made us gain a deeper understanding of our subject.

According to the client, land survey of Sweden, there is no current information regarding other well developed property tax systems. This information is necessary in order to analyze the effectiveness and develop the Swedish system. The purpose of this study is to contribute with improvement proposals to the development of the Swedish property tax system through a survey of the English and Welsh property tax system.Methods used are: (1) a literature review where the English and Welsh valuation methodology and organization regarding property taxation is studied; (2) an interview with the client at the land survey of Sweden regarding existing problems with the Swedish property tax system; (3) An interview with a contact person of the Valuation Office Agency regarding the English and Welsh property tax system.In England and Wales there are two different property taxes for municipals, Council Tax and Rating. All domestic properties are included in Council Tax and commercial properties or part of commercial properties is included in Rating. Council Tax is based on the properties market value and Rating is based on the commercial property or part of the properties current rental value.

Corporate storytellings påverkan på ett företags employee brand : En kvalitativ fallstudie av hur företag kan påverka anställdas engagemang

AbstractA useful tool for companies to use in their differentiation process is proposed to be employee branding. Employee branding is developed and put forth by the management with the main task to formulate the brands vision and values, and communicate them to the employees. To promote the employee engagement and their relationship with the company, corporate storytelling can be applied, with is an internal communication that strengthens the internal rumour and values that represent the brand. Since engagement and motivation is important factors when creating a strong employee brand, there is a need for further research on how corporate storytelling is used by companies to influence employee engagement and motivation, as corporate storytelling leads to deeper commitment among employees.PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to explore how companies use corporate storytelling to influence their employee branding.MethodologyThe authors conducted a qualitative case study on how the retail organization Boomerang. The empirical material was collected thru semi-structured interviews with Boomerangs management and employees.ConclusionThe conclusion shows that the employees prefers when corporate storytelling and various communication is put in context, this because it?s easier for the employees to understand.

The study concerns the unloading of pigs at the slaughter house, both from the pigs view and from the transporters view. The study has been carried out at the slaughter house (SLP) in Helsingborg, Sweden. It includes a questionnaire to all transporters (65 % response) and a direct observation of the unloading. The transporters handling of the pigs, their use of different equipment and the response of the pigs has been studied. The pigs behaviour at unloading and their reactions to environmental factors has also been studied.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att kartlägga hur ett tänkbart samband mellan mode och varumärke kan se ut i modeföretag. Metod: En kvalitativ studie med ett abduktivt angreppssätt. Slutsatser: Sambandet mellan mode och marknadsföring i modeföretag är mycket starkt, även om branschen i sig, historiskt sett inte agerat som om så vore fallet. Ledarskap - en social konstruktion och egenskap : en kvalitativ studie om ledarskap på en skola i Stockholms innerstad

This study of leadership is comprised of two parts. The first part presented in this study is a theoretical study of leadership and the second part is an empirical study. The empirical study is comprised of six qualitative interviews that examine the perception of leadership among educators working at a school in the inner city.The work is based on the following issues; Do educators think that there is a link between educational work and leadership? Do educators see a link between leadership and goals, and guidelines that are written in Lgr11 and the Education Act? Does the perception of leadership depend on what training the educators have?In this study I use a hermeneutical approach where I try to create an understanding of the interviewees by interpreting their responses, actions and opinions during the interviews.The material gained from the empirical study has been analyzed and interpreted and then related to the theoretical study. The results show that leadership is something that everyone in the school system is in need of whatever their education.

Denna uppsats undersöker effekter av psykologisk debriefing och avlastningssamtal efter traumatiska händelser hos brandpersonal. Enkätstudiens fokus låg på brandpersonalens känslomässiga påverkan av traumatiska händelser i arbetet. Femtionio personer deltog i enkätstudien, varav 91 procent upplevt en traumatisk händelse. Det fanns inga signifikanta skillnader i posttraumatiska stressreaktioner och psykologiskt välbefinnande hos brandmän efter traumatisk händelse beroende av huruvida brandmännen deltagit i tidig intervention i form av avlastningssamtal, psykologisk debriefing eller inte medverkat i någon form av tidig intervention..

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to describe the change at Myndigheten and analyze its implementation to identify the employees' attitudes towards the change. The survey of attitudes is important to provide indicators of how they may affect the continued implementation of the process-oriented approach.Research methodology: This thesis is based on both quantitative and qualitative method. Surveys have been implemented on co-workers/employees and an interview has been implemented on a project participant.Theoretical framework: This thesis uses theories of organizations, organizational changes and attitudes.Conclusions: Both positive and negative attitudes are found for the employees and these attitudes are mainly weak. If Myndigheten makes interventions, it can help to minimize the negative consequences that the attitudes may lead to.
