Syfte: Syftet med denna studie ?r att unders?ka hur intag av aminosyratillskott p?verkar kroppssammans?ttning hos personer med kroniskt obstruktiv lungsjukdom (KOL). Metod: Litteraturs?kningen genomf?rdes i tv? databaser, Scopus och Pubmed under perioden januari ? mars 2024. Inklusionskriterierna till denna ?versiktsartikel var att deltagarna skulle vara diagnostiserade med KOL, studierna skulle vara baserade p? humanstudier med studiedesignen RCT och slutligen skulle studierna unders?ka skillnaden mellan interventionsgrupp som fick aminosyratillskott med kontrollgrupp som inte fick aminosyratillskott g?llande p?verkan p? kroppsammans?ttning. Studierna exkluderades om de skrevs p? annat spr?k ?n svenska och engelska eller om de baserades p? djurstudier.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to examine difficulties concerning information acquisition, use, and management experienced by graduate students in physics during their first years of research work. Semi-structured, qualitative interviews were carried out with nine doctoral students. The theoretical background for analysis of the material is based on the work of Patrick Wilson, with particular focus on the concept of cognitive authority, and on that of Lars Seldén, who has proposed the idea of an information seeking career running parallel to the academic career of the researcher. Results from the interviews indicate that most of the students, in the early stages of their information seeking careers, rely to a great extent on supervisors and more experienced colleagues when identifying material needed for the research project. In a situation where information of potential relevance is abundant and where experience and focus are not yet fully developed, senior researchers function as cognitive authorities and as guides to other cognitive authorities.

The conservation of great apes faces many challenges, one of which is the threat of infectious disease outbreaks. Zoonotic transmission of respiratory diseases from humans to wild great apes has recently been confirmed. Since respiratory disease is one of the major causes of death in both gorillas and chimpanzees, this gives reason for major concern. Little is known about the risks of disease transmission from humans to great apes in natural environments, and there is a need for systematic risk Evaluation. Researchers, conservation staff and tourists spend time in very close proximity of wild great apes, sometimes during long time periods, which poses a potential risk of disease spillover. However, the presence of researchers and tourists has been shown to decrease the risk of poaching, making the matter increasingly complex.

Bakgrund Tal- och språkstörningar kan leda till och nedsatt kommunikation och förmåga att delta i samtal. Självskattning anses som ett otillräckligt mått på taltid och objektiva mätmetoder behövs som komplement. Många patienter i logopedbehandling är pensionärer men det saknas forskning om taltid inom denna åldersgrupp.Syfte Att samla in referensdata om fonationstid hos en grupp friska pensionärer och utvärdera röstackumulatorn VoxLog som mätinstrument av taltid.Metod Tjugo pensionärer deltog i studien, varav tio kvinnor och tio män i åldrarna 66-75 år. Deltagarna bar VoxLog åtta timmar per dag i tre dagar och fyllde i en aktivitetsdagbok med en självskattningsskala för taltid samt ett utvärderingsformulär.Resultat Fonationstiden i medeltal för samtliga deltagare var 9,9 % med spridningen 2,7?23,5 %.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie är att undersöka vilken syn lärare och elever har påInternet som arbetsverktyg i undervisningen och skolarbetet. För att ta reda på detta har vigenomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra gymnasielärare, varav två arbetar på en kommunalskola och två arbetar på ett friskolegymnasium. Dessutom har vi genomfört kvantitativaenkätundersökningar med 100 gymnasieelever, 50 på vardera skola. Vår undersökning visaratt lärarna och eleverna är positivt inställda till Internet i undervisningen, men den påvisaräven att eleverna, särskilt de på friskolan, har en tendens att se Internet som sin enda källa,vilket är något som bekymrar lärarna. De menar därtill att källkritik är något man som läraremåste gå igenom kontinuerligt för att få eleverna att förstå innebörden av det och hur viktigtdet är.

Östers IF var fram till 1988 föreningen som aldrig hade åkt ur en serie och samlat på sig fyra SM-guld och ett cup-guld. Idag är det föreningen som två gånger under 2000-talet har åkt raka vägen från Allsvenskan till division 1 på två säsonger. I denna studie, vars syfte är att utvärdera Östers IF och dess seniorverksamhet, har vi velat skapa en övergripande bild av hur föreningens kultur, organisation och identitet har påverkats av seniorverksamhetens sportsliga resultat genom åren. Vi har även velat se vilka effekter detta har gett för föreningens strävan efter att återigen stabilisera sig som ett svenskt elitfotbollslag. Vi har i vårt arbete använt oss av en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer som metod.Resultatet visar att Östers IF under en lång tid har verkat utan en röd tråd och kontinuitet har saknats inom föreningen både hos den administrativa organisationen och inom den sportsliga verksamheten. Det har gjort att Östers IF idag är en förening som kämpar med att hitta sin identitet. Det är oklart vad föreningen står för och vilken väg den vill ta för att nå tillbaka till elitfotbollen.

AimThe purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-perceived health and level of physical activity among the staff at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH). We focused on the following questions:How does the amount of physical activity affect the self-perceived health among the staff at GIH?  Are there any gender differences in self-perceived health following the amount of physical activity? Do the self-perceived health and the amount of physical activity differ between the various age groups? Are there any differences between the staff responsible for health education compared with the other staff?MethodWe chose a validated questionnaire for our study. It was a combination of two already previously validated questionnaires together with our own supplementary background questions. The questionnaire was presented to 96 respondents and we received 76 answers.

Energy reviews has been initiated in order to be able for showing how the house electricity could be carried out even more efficiently.The work was initiated through a literature study to clearly increase the reliability on the energy subject. Different concepts of low-energy buildings have been treated in connection with its specifications, afterward those have been compared with the obtained results.

Business Intelligence (BI) is a competitive concept for enterprises to consider. The concept is based on the idea of using business data in order to effectively analyze activities within an enterprise in order to enhance decision processes in the organization.The purpose with this study is to help Akademibokhandeln AB to analyze what BI-requirements they may have, and to create a recommendation on what sort of BI-tool that would fit the enterprise's needs.The requirements analysis was conducted with the help of internal personnel. Four different tools on the BI-market have been examined, analyzed and compared: IBM Cognos 8 (IBM Cognos), Microstrategy 9 (MCST), Qlikview 9 (Qlikview), and SAP Business Objects BI (SAP BO). These tools have been compared with the help of two models (BRI and BCI) that is based on the BI-requirements analysis, with the cost aspect taken into consideration in the BCI-model.Using the BRI-model, the comparison results in a technical Evaluation. Here, IBM Cognos gets the highest result just ahead of MCST and SAP BO.

Groth, P, Utvärdering av verksamheten ?Nätverket för hälsobefrämjande arbets-platser i Skåne?. Examensarbete i folkhälsovetenskap, 20 poäng. Malmö Högsko-la: Hälsa och samhälle, 2005. Utvärderingen är gjord på uppdrag av Region Skåne och Arbetslivsinstitutet Syd. Syftet är att undersöka om verksamheten följer den fastställda värdegrundens in-riktningar och om de angivna målen uppnåtts, samt beskriva verksamhetens bief-fekter.

Studiens syfte är att ta del av hur förskollärare beskriver vad som kännetecknar pedagogisk dokumentation samt hur de arbetar med den i verksamheten. Vi vill även belysa vilka möjligheter och begränsningar som förskollärarna ser i sitt arbete med arbetsverktyget. Intresset för ämnet har skapats under utbildningen och VFU (verksamhetsförlagd utbildning) då pedagogisk dokumentation förefaller vara ett arbetsverktyg som blir allt vanligare i förskolan. Det är en kvalitativ studie där semistrukturerade intervjuer har valts för att samla in det empiriska materialet. Studien baseras på fyra intervjuer med förskollärare som alla har läst eller läser kursen Pedagogisk dokumentation med IT-stöd på högskolan i Skövde.

An increase interest of new methods and tools has begun to grow in the real estate business, this new trend causes an increase in new programs that aim to simplify processes of energy-efficiency and environmental issues.After consulting with Björn Alsmark from Bjerking AB, an architect and engineering company, we made a decision that the Degree Project is going to examine the program IES (Integrated Environmental Solutions) with some integrations from Revit Architecture application.To be able to examine IES, we got access to a completed project from Bjerking. The project is a nursery school in Uppsala. An application has been handed in from Bjerking to make this project to a Green Building-certificated project. According to Bjerking own calculations (with the energy-calculation program Enorm), the consumption of energy of the nursery school is 48 percent lesser than required by BBR.An Evaluation of IES and Enorm has been made with an aim to compare these two programs and find out if IES is an appropriate program to replace Enorm. Does Enorm or IES come up to BBR´s recommendations?The Degree Project cover 15 ECT, that required several adjusting and delimitations, and the study sketch ended with a literature study.After finishing the study sketch the modeling of the nursery school began.
