Föremål för denna magisteruppsats i offentlig rätt är det EG-rättsliga IPPC-direktivet om samordnade åtgärder för att förebygga och begränsa föroreningar. Syftet har varit att undersöka direktivets implikationer på den svenska rätten. Fokus har legat på direktivets processuella delar som anknyter till principerna om god förvaltning, samt den processuella och institutionella autonomin. Uppsatsen har visat på att direktivet innefattar flera aspekter av god förvaltning som inverkar på den svenska rätten, men även att många av dessa redan innan genomförandet varit en del av den svenska rättsordningen. Samtidigt har uppsatsen visat på att direktivet inte nämnvärt begränsar medlemsstaternas processuella eller institutionella autonomi.

The Swedish Armed Forces have gone through a remarkable change. From beingan organisation built on the notion of countering a Soviet invasion it has evolvedto focusing on small, multilateral rapid reaction capabilities to be used within theframework of the European security and defence policy, ESDP.This thesis regards the change as a process of Europeanisation. Drawing fromsociological and historical institutionalism, it is shown that the Swedish ArmedForces in the post-cold war context was path dependent and unwilling to redefineits historical raison d?être. The origin of the ESDP Europeanised the nationaldefence policy, whereas the bureaucracy was still unwilling to translate the newstructural norms.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine if the Swedish policy of foreign affairs has been changed due to the Swedish enter as members in the European Union. The research method used for this essay has been a comparative case study between the Swedish and Norwegian declared policy of foreign affairs and it strives to answer the research question, which is if the Swedish declared policy of foreign affairs has been changed in character due to the Europeanization. The theoretical framework of this study consists of Europeanization as a comprehensive theoretical perspective. I order to answer the research question a classification schedule has been elaborated to examine the objectives of the Swedish and Norwegian declared policy of foreign affairs. The analytical method of this part has been a quantitative and qualitative approach.

This paper examines if European integration has had an impact on national political parties by looking at the stances of the Swedish Green Party and the Left Party on the issue of the European Community and the European Union over time. With the development of the European Community and the European Union, national political parties face the challenge of an emerging political arena. European integration research has recently become more involved with what is called europeanization and political integration within the member states them self, this paper aims to provide further leverage to the thesis that national political actors undergo some degree of europeanization and are politically integrated in the EU, by examining manifestos of two historically eurosceptic Swedish political parties. The theoretical framework provided by neo-functional integration theory as well as europeanization is used to examine the empirical material in order to see if the political parties at the focal point of this study can be said to have undergone a change in political policy regarding the EC and EU, both in quantity and content. The analysis show that indeed both parties has undergone a change and what might be considered a europeanization, considering that the presence of the EU as a political issue seem to have risen in prominence and importance in the examined manifestos.

Uppsatsen avser studera vilken påverkan EU har haft på Sverige vad gäller anskaffning avförsvarsmateriel. Vinklingen har varit en studie av förmågan strategisk flygtransport med de konkretafrågeställningarna: Vilka motiv framläggs i Sverige gällande anskaffning av strategisk flygtransport och hurförhåller sig svensk inriktning vad gäller anskaffning av strategiskt flygtransport gentemot den inriktning som EUhar genom EDA? Genom att studera officiella dokument och även jämföra Försvarsmaktens perspektivplaneringoch EDA:s LTV analyseras vilka motiv som framförs och vilken samstämmighet det finns mellan Sverige och EU.Avslutningsvis diskuteras om det finns någon problematik med den Europeiseringsprocess som sker. För att fåförklaringar till hur de eventuella beroendena har kommit till uttryck har teorin runt Europeisering använts, medfokus på mekanismer för ?top-down? och ?bottom-up?.

Swedish trade unions are engaged in several activities at the European level. One of these isthe sectoral social dialogue, an institutionalized part of the European Union. This bachelorthesis examines the motives for Swedish trade unions in three different sectors to engage themselves in the European social dialogue. The three sectors are chosen because of their differences according to their exposure to competition caused by ongoing globalization and europeanization processes. By interviewing central informants in trade unions which are active in the three dialogues this thesis seeks to learn more about the motives stated by the trade unions.

The general aim of this paper is to describe how the European Union can affect and transfer their conditionality politics to the Western Balkan countries. A specific purpose of this study is to describe and explain what we in this paper consider to be a specific additional membership criterion, regional cooperation that has been especially designed for this region. The point of departure for this paper is Europeanization theory that will be used to study the European Union?s impact on non EU-members in Europe. The theoretical Europeanization mechanisms are taken from Heather Grabbes ?Europeanization model?.

Sedan 1989 har omvärldsutvecklingen ställt stora krav på Sverige avseende en förändrad syn på detsäkerhetspolitiska begreppet. En ny världsordning med nya typer av hot, aktörer och konflikter har medförtatt säkerhetsbegreppet har vidgats. Det svenska EU- medlemskapet har dessutom medfört behovet av ettmycket tydligare regionalt och globalt perspektiv på säkerhetspolitik än vad som tidigare var fallet. Som ettresultat av detta har Försvarsmakten under perioden efter det kalla kriget genomgått ett genomgripandeförändringsarbete.Uppsatsens övergripande problem är följande: Skapar förändringsarbetet en Försvarsmakt som är användbarsåväl nationellt som regionalt och/eller globalt? För att besvara frågeställningen studeras först hur EU: smålsättningar och kapacitetsbehov avseende kris- och konflikthantering tar sig uttryck i GUSP och EUHeadline Goals, samt hur dessa tolkas i 2004 års försvarsproposition.

Sveriges medlemskap i EU innebär att den svenska arbetsrätten harmoniseras med EG-rätten. Den svenska implementeringen av utstationeringsdirektivets skyddsregel om minimilön, genom kollektivavtal, har underkänts. Detta eftersom implementeringen medför en diskriminering av utländska tjänsteföretag som har utstationerad personal i Sverige. Diskriminering föreligger eftersom de svenska kollektivavtalen inte omfattar alla på arbetsmarknaden och att alla avtal inte reglerar minimilöner. Magisteruppsatsens syfte är att utreda vilka möjligheter som finns för att anpassa den svenska kollektivavtalsmodellen till EG-rätten efter EG-domstolens förhandsavgörande i Lavalmålet.

Det svenska samhället är i hög grad invävt i världen utanför. Det som är viktigt hos oss är ofta lika viktigt hos andra. Världen har blivit mindre samtidigt som medvetenheten om världen som en enhet har vuxit. För Sveriges del har det varit den Europeiska unionen som stått i centrum för diskussionen om den nya världen. Medlemskapet i EU har fått det svenska samhället att delta i ett nytt regel- och idésystem, vilket har lett till omfattande konsekvenser och förändringar.
