The aim with this paper is to elucidate the current situation of the Swedish glulam market. This thesis paper will also consider prospects for the future and analyse the relationship between customer and producer and what makes a specific supplier attractive to their customer. The companies that are included in the paper are: Martinsons Group AB, Moelven Töreboda AB and Setra Group AB, Långshyttan. These three companies are the members of the organi¬sation Svenskt Limträ AB and produce the largest part of glulam in Sweden. Together they produce 140 000 ? 150 000 m3 a year. The study is based on interviews with all three producers and a customer survey, where I have interviewed five customer to each producer.

Most of the sea areas within the European Union are overfished and the catches are estimated to be up to five times lager then the amount to achieve a sustainable fishery. In doing so, the management of EU's marine resources comes to be questioned. The purpose of this study was to analyze EU's administration of marine fisheries and to explore which steps that can be undertaken to counteract the negative trend. The questions of the study were: How does the EU administrate today?s marine fishery recourses? And: How can the problem whit overfishing be discouraged? To answer these questions a comparative analyses were used to compare and evaluate administrative systems.

Den här uppsatsen undersöker på vilket sätt ekonomiska faktorer som anställningskontrakt och arbetslöshet påverkar kvinnors intentioner att skaffa barn inom tre år. Många tidigare studier har undersökt hur sambandet ser ut mellan ekonomisk osäkerhet och fertilitet, men desto färre har koncentrerat sig på att titta på sambandet mellan anställningskontrakt och barnintentioner.Uppsatsen baseras på tvärsnittsdata från European Social Survey, som samlades in år 2004 och 2010. Sex logistiska regressionsanalyser har utförts för att undersöka hur detta eventuella samband skiljer sig inom åren samt mellan kvinnor som är barnlösa och kvinnor som har ett barn sedan tidigare. Flera kontrollvariabler har inkluderats i modellerna.De slutsatser som kan dras från analyserna är att barnlösa kvinnor som hade en ostabil arbetssituation år 2004, var mindre benägna att planera för att skaffa barn inom tre år än kvinnor som hade fast anställning. För kvinnor som hade ett barn sedan tidigare hade istället egenföretagare och övriga utanför arbetsmarknaden en större sannolikhet att skaffa ett andra barn än de med fast anställning.

The domesticated rabbit stems from the European Wild rabbit and researchers have found that they share most of the characteristics and behaviors of their wild ancestor. They form mating groups in which strong hierarchic orders are formed and they are known for their ability to dig warrens which serve as one of the most important resources for this species. Although research has been performed to increase the welfare of rabbits kept in laboratory settings little is known about the housing, behavior and welfare of the pet rabbit. Among the research that has been performed within the area results have shown that the animals are kept in small solitary cages and that although many rabbits are purchased mainly for the children many animals cannot be handled by children due to display of aggression. Another conclusion drawn is that the animals are kept in ways that differs greatly from their natural environment.

This subject of interest in this paper is the ideas expressed and formulated in the making andinauguration of the Branting-monument at Norra Bantorget in Stockholm. The initiative for a monument honoring the late Social Democratic leader Hjalmar Brantingwas taken at the Swedish Social Democratic Party Congress in 1928. In 1935 the party board decided to give the task of designing the monument to the much renowned artist Carl Eldh. A national fund-raising campaign for the monument was also initiated. This paper is a study and comparison between the two Wireless LAN (WLAN) standards HiperLAN/2 and IEEE 802.11a. WLANs are used instead or together with ordinary LANs to increase mobility in for example an office. HiperLAN/2 is an European standard developed by ETSI and the IEEEs standard is American. A WLAN-card consists roughly of a Medium Access Control (MAC), Physichal layer (PHY) and an antenna. The antenna is the same for the different standards.

What attribute affects salience on a political agenda? How come some reforms are implemented while others are not? These are essential and central questions for our society. Our society, our democracy and our everyday life are dependent of these factors; communication is the condition. In the 2011 budget from the Swedish conservative government, the question of lowering the VAT on restaurant- and catering services was the single most debated reform. This was occasioned from 2009 when the European Union allowed, for the first time since Swedish entry in 2005, a lower VAT on restaurant services.

The purpose with this essay was to examine how the European Union is working totransfer norms to states they signed an agreement with and provide support for inframe of the Barcelona process and the Tacis programme. The theory which weused was Ian Manners (PhD in Political Science) theory of "the EU as a uniquenormative power". The aim was to examine whether the EU - which Manners mean- has had a normative power to influence states to change. We used a qualitativeapproach through the use of a multiple case study and qualitative text and contentanalysis. The States which formed the basis of our study were within the BarcelonaProcess; Morocco and Tunisia as well as Azerbaijan and Armenia funded by theTacis programme.

This study focuses on the Nordic model of Extended Collective Licenses (ECL) and how this model can be used in the process of digitalising and publishing archival material such as photos, letters, maps or films. The question that this study aims to deal with is what advantages, and disadvantages, there are for archives and copyright holders when an ECL is being used. To help answering this question the ?theory of the knowledge commons? has been applied. The research question has been answered through a text analysis based on legal texts including Swedish law.

Det saknas en enhetlig klassificering för allvarlig kronisk parodontit i epidemiologiska studier; internationell data avseende prevalens och utbredning av kronisk parodontit är därför svårtolkade. Det saknas studier som har undersökt huruvida och hur mycket variationerna av klassificeringar påverkar utfallet, det vill säga prevalensen av allvarlig kronisk parodontit. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att utvärdera skillnaderna mellan fem olika klassificeringar av allvarlig kronisk parodontit: (i) Konsensuskonferensen 1999, (ii) American Academy of Periodontology and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (AAP/CDC), (iii) European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), (iv) Jönköpingsstudien samt (v) Skånestudien. Material och Metod: För att kunna jämföra klassificeringarna studerades prevalensen av allvarlig kronisk parodontit utifrån en population i Kalmar län.

Montagu´s harrier (Circus pygargus) is a diurnal, Eurasian raptor, which migrates from its northern breeding grounds to winter in sub-Saharan Africa. In Sweden, its core breeding area is centred on the island of Öland, with a stable breeding population of approximately 40 pairs.
