AbstractThe aim with this essay has been to investigate if Sweden?s attitude against the European Union has changed expressed in the statement of government policies, during the years 1988-1998. In the prolongation I want to see if the policies can be seen as examples of agenda-setting.My comprehensive objective is: In which way is the change of the Swedish attitude towards the European Union expressed in the statement of government policies during 1988-1998 shown?My other objectives are: In which ways describes the statements the integrations process in Europe generally?In which ways does the integrations process influences Sweden in generally?In which ways does the integrations process influences Sweden?s relations against the European Union?I have used qualitative text analysis as method in my essay to find the answers to the questions. I have classified a number of opinions, found in the policies, summarized under my three objectives.The result of my essay was shown that the changed not can be found in the policies and they are examples of agenda-setting.

When studying the voting behaviour of the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) concerning the Services Directive within the EU, what patterns can be observed? With a starting point in previous findings about voting behaviour, this study analyses the results of the given Roll-call votes in the European Parliament in regards to the Services Directive. Here I focus on the division of votes within and between the member states and the parliamentary political groups; with the aim to identify patterns that might show clash of opinion concerning this issue. I found that ideology seems to play a role in the MEPs voting behaviour. Parties on the far left reach the highest level of cohesion and together with the party on the far right, they voted against the Directive, but due to different reasons.

Det här är en systematisk litteraturstudie vars syfte är att se vilken betydelse skolors arbete med integration har på elever med utländsk bakgrund. I studien diskuteras det hur olika skolor arbetar med integration och vilka konsekvenser det leder till hos elever med utländsk bakgrund, samt vilka svårigheter dessa elever kan stöta på. Denna studie utgår från ett interkulturellt förhållningssätt. Metoden som använts i denna studie är databassökningar för att finna tidigare empiriska studier. Den här studien använde sig av 17 sökord totalt i fyra olika databaser.

This research outlines studies about the relationship between social integration process of Japanese immigrants in Sweden and how social media assists in this process. The purpose of this research includes: To find out the reasons of migration to Sweden for six Japanese immigrants, any difficulties that they faced at the beginning of their immigration process and/or any positive qualities that they found in living in Sweden, whether they have accessed social media since they have moved in, if they do so, how the social media has been used and also, whether the social media has had a role to play in contributing to help their social integration process. In addition, it has been considered whether the participants have plans to return to Japan. In Sweden, there is relatively small Japanese migrant population. This social science research paper is the first in Sweden which explores the immigration process of Japanese migrants into Sweden.

Abstract In the contemporary world of information technology you find a multitude of applications and systems covering a broad spectrum of areas of need in different companies. One effect of this multitude of programs is the difficulty to make them exchange information with each other or to collaborate, since they are developed by different programming languages for different platforms, with different standards and different data formats. Our aim with this work is to describe how it is possible to tie these programs together to make them actually communicate with each other in order to exchange information, share their native methods and also to become a part of the overall business processes. In this integration task you will, among other things, find different levels of application integration such as data level, method level, application interface level and user interface level integration. Application integration also involves hardware components, called middleware, that facilitate the physical connection between applications. There is a range of different middleware products offered today on the market.

The aim of this comparative study is to analyse the French and the Polish regional governance in order to see if there are any differences in their regional ruling systems. Further more I will study their different possibilities in taking part in the European Union regional political market. The shape of the regional systems will be explored both organisationally (study of the institutional entities of the regional construction) and functionally (study of the competencies of the regional body etcetera) to focus on its cause on the regional development. My over all focus will be to find out whether regional rule means differently in the countries France and Poland.Several questions are dealt with and the two main ones are as follows; How do the different structures of the form of government in France and Poland influence the governance on the regional level? Do Poland, as a new member state of the European Union, have what it takes to face the challenges of the new membership; or are there a complex of problems arising from the admittance that prevent its regions from fully taking part in the European regional political market?Some of my conclusions are as follows;There are major differences between the two countries when it comes to their regional ruling systems leading to different abilities in taking part in the European regional political market.

During the past twenty years the immigration to Sweden has changed significantly. Earlier immigration mainly focused at filling the vacancies in the Swedish industry, today immigrants primarily come to Sweden as Refugees. This change of immigration combined with the restructuring of the Swedish industrial sector has resulted in great a deterioration of the chances for immigrants to gain entry to the Swedish labor market.This study aims at examining how the cooperation between authorities in the municipal of Hörby in Sweden fosters integration. The study primarily examines how the cooperation between authorities in a integration project can contribute to a better integration to the labor market.Through a qualitative study, five persons who occupy important roles in the project have been interviewed. The results of these interviews have been complemented by internal documents as well as extern material to validate the results.The most important findings that have been revealed are the importance of language in the process of gaining entrance to the Swedish labor market.

Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie med utgångspunkt i intervjuer med fem män. I fokus är deras patriarkala rötter, deras förutsättningar för integration och deras syn på heder. Syftet med denna studie är att fördjupa förståelsen för hur män med patriarkala rötter upplever sin integrationsprocess i det svenska samhället. Målet är att uppnå en förståelse för och insikt i de faktorer som är väsentliga för dessa mäns integration men också de omständigheter som motverkar integration. De forskningsfrågor som legat till grund för studien var: Vilka skäl har de haft för att flytta till Sverige? Hur har de etablerat sig i det nya landet? Känner de sig delaktiga i det svenska samhället? Vilka förändringar har skett i familjestrukturerna? Har synen på heder förändrats sedan migrationen till Sverige? Hur definierar de begreppet heder i dag? Resultaten analyseras utifrån den tidigare presenterade forskningen samt teorier som förändringar i patriarkala familjestrukturer, det civila samhället, stat, marknad, familj och kollektivism kontra individualism.

Bakgrund och problem:Företagsförvärv är en process som ständigt förekommer i vårat näringsliv och som nästan dagligen omnämns i media. Trots detta stora antal förvärv som sker är företagsledningarnas kunskap omkring integrationsprocessen av företagen ofta bristfällig. Sammanslagningen av företagen är många gånger det som skapar mervärdet vid ett förvärv. Tids-, kommunikations- och företagskultursperspektiven anses vara de främsta framgångsfaktorerna vid en integration.Syfte: Denna studie kommer att granska dessa tre perspektiv för att skapa en ökad förståelse för dem, samt för att generera kunskap om själva integrationsprocessen.Metod: Fyra ledande konsultföretag som arbetar med integration har intervjuas för att återspegla deras syn på perspektiven och integrationsprocessen.Resultat och slutsats: Intervjuerna gav en djupare insikt i och ökad förståelse för integrationsprocessen. Med hjälp av tidigare forskning resulterade undersökningen i tre nya modeller som beskrev samt tydliggjorde företagsledningens optimala förhållandesätt gentemot de enskilda perspektiven.

Uppsatsen handlar om hur flerspråkiga elever integreras och inkluderas i en mångkulturell skola. Fyra olika lärare intervjuades efter en frågemanual där samma frågor ställdes till alla intervjuade. Resultat visade att samtliga lärare prioriterade inkludering av flerspråkiga och nyanlända elever för att påskynda deras integration i den svenska skolan. Lärarna lyfte också fram vikten av en god modersmålsundervisning samt studiehandledning för att individuellt stödja eleverna och möjliggöra inlärning och förståelse för dem. Samtliga lärare påpekade vidare att ett gott samarbete med och engagemang från hemmet och föräldrarna är av stor betydelse för en framgångsrik integration i skolan.

This thesis focuses on employers? use of non-­?solicitation of employees in commercial contracts within the union?s internal market and how this can result in restrictive practices in violation of European law. Using legal method, legal economic considerations, and guidance from modern American legal development in antitrust law, this thesis is aiming to investigate how this kind of anticompetitive cooperation in the European labor market should be assessed. The result seems to be that despite a distinct and pronounced restrictive approach to the application of EU competition rules in the labor market, there are strong incentives and not any legal impediment to apply Article 101 TFEU on no cold call agreements between employers. .

This essay presents an alternative approach to the predominant democratic analysis of the European Monetary Union. As the Treaties stipulate the political conduct within Monetary Union and put certain restrictions on the European politicians they are to some extent constitutional in their character. Essential for constitutional theory is the concept of precommitment; according to which a decision is made in t1 purposing to obstruct certain actions in t2. In light of this the aim of this essay is to investigate whether or not delegating monetary responsibility to the ECB can be seen as an example of constitutional precommitment and if so, if this constitutional perspective can add something to the predominant democratic analysis of the EMU. According to the author the EMU is by and large a form of precommitment as the leading politicians in Europe figuratively have tied their hands from intervening in the common monetary policy.

Bakgrund Tidigare studier belyser vikten av att företag integrerar marknadsfunktionen och logistikfunktionen, detta då en sådan integration leder till fördelar för företag. När funktionerna är integrerade kan företag bland annat möta kunders förväntningar vad gäller produkttillgänglighet och leveransservice på ett mer effektivt sätt än om funktionerna inte är integrerade. I dagsläget finns endast begränsade studier om hur integration mellan marknadsfunktioner och logistikfunktioner ser ut i praktiken. En empirisk kunskapslucka vad gäller integration mellan marknadsfunktioner och logistikfunktioner i svenska detaljhandelsföretag kunde således påvisas och det är dennakunskapslucka som legat till grund för denna studie.Syfte Denna studie syftar till att analysera om, och i så fall hur, marknadsfunktioner och logistikfunktioner inom svenska detaljhandelsföretag är integrerade.Genomförande För att uppnå syftet genomfördes intervjuer med medarbetare på marknadsfunktionen och logistikfunktionen inom tre svenska detaljhandelsföretag. Dessa företag var Cervera, Glitter och KappAhl.

Sweden is a member of the European Union since 1995. The European Union issues directives that cover different areas. Member states must implement these directives into their national legislation. The European council issued in 1993 a directive that took action on the organization of working time, also known as the working time directive. The full name is: Council directive 93/104/EC of 23 November 1993 concerning certain aspects of the organization of working time.

More recently, the number of elderly immigrants has increased. This means that Sweden is faced with new challenges. The purpose of this study was to illustrate how the elder immigrants general situation in Helsingborg looks like, as well as how social workers work to integrate this target group. Furthermore, I wished to have an answer on whether social workers feel that there is a continuing need to be concentrated on the integration of elder immigrants. To get answers to my questions, I have interviewed five social workers in Helsingborg who are working on issues that concern elder and integration.
