I den här uppsatsen undersöks opinionsmaterialets utveckling och förändring mellan 1986 och 2013 i de fyra tidningarna Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, Metro och Nerikes Allehanda. De år som har undersökts i nämnda period är 1986, 1995, 2004 samt 2013. Genom kvantitativa undersökningar har vi studerat hur mycket opinionstexterna har ökat i antal, hur placeringen på tidningssidan har förändrats, vilka ämnesområden som har bevakats och hur många kvinnliga respektive manliga skribenter som har skrivit texterna.En kompletterande kvalitativ undersökning har också gjorts för att undersöka hur argumentationen i opinionstexterna har förändrats genom åren. För att komma fram till det har vi använt oss av Aristoteles retorikbegrepp ethos, pathos och logos, och applicerat dem på ett urval av krönikor från olika år och tidningar.Undersökningen visar att antalet opinionstexter utanför ledarplats har ökat och att majoriteten av skribenterna är män. Undersökningen visar även hur den populära spalten så sakteligen har börjat bytas ut mot andra placeringar på nyhetssidan.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att öka förståelsen för företags internationella etableringsstrategier och titta på vilka möjligheter och hinder som finns i etableringsprocessen.Metod: Uppsatsens forskningsstrategi har varit att göra en fallstudie på Kina och en surveyundersökning på svenska företag som idag är representerade på den kinesiska marknaden. Vidare kombinerar studien de två vetenskapliga angreppssätten kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats. Både primärdata i form av surveyundersökningen och ett seminarium och sekundär data i form av olika litteratur såsom böcker, vetenskapliga artiklar och internet har använts för att knyta samman våra resultat.Resultat: Uppsatsen resulterar i att de största möjligheterna som finns för svenska företag på den kinesiska marknaden är att öka sinlönsamhet och sänka sina produktionskostnader. This essay studies how advertisements in various anti-smoking campaigns can influence and persuade by using anti-logos as counter-arguments to the tobacco industry's logos. In contrast to tobacco advertising arguments such as freedom (logos), pleasure (pathos) and trademark (ethos) the anti-smoking campaigns create anti-logos arguments with various connotations such as repulsive pictures and sexual implications to influence groups of people not to start smoking or to quit smoking.Advertisement of tobacco does not exist nowadays due to legal restrictions in the western world; however several decades of myths created in the consumer consciousness still exist. Thus one can speak of a tobacco advertising ideology that exists and the various anti-smoking campaigns trying to change that ideology.The purpose of anti-smoking campaigns is to conduct a kategoria of myth that tobacco advertisement has created over the years. Anti smoking organizations do this by creating a new ideology to affect consumer?s attitude toward smoking and the tobacco myth with an anti-myth.

Contemporary plant design can be examined by how it relates to two extremes - Nature and Art. This idea is explained by Noel Kingsbury in the book The Dynamic Landscape where he places designers and their projects on a gradient (Kingsbury, 2004). Nature, one of the extremes can be represented by a dynamic, species-rich plant design with native species and with nature as the ideal. The other extreme - Art implies a more static view on plant design. Here, the designs consist of colourful flowers, exotic species and cultivars with double flowers.

Attityders betydelser är en undersökning som syftar till att skapa en förståelse av hur attitydgestalter fungerar i en debattsituation genom att analysera hur ickeverbal retorik såsom kroppsspråk, blickar och gester samspelar med det som uttryckligen sägs. Forskningsobjektet utgjordes av en tv-debatt i SVT Agenda mellan Gudrun Schyman (Fi) och jämställdhetsminister Maria Arnholm (Fp) kring den såkallade ?lönefrågan?, om hur politikerna ska verka för att lönerna i Sverige ska bli mer jämställda mellan kvinnor och män.Analysen visade att Schyman uttrycker många starka negativa attityduttryck som skapar en konflikt i debattens diskursdynamik. Dessa attityduttryck i kombination med vad Schyman säger till Arnholm gör att de båda debattörernas ethos och maktpositioner förändras, där Schyman får ett övertag i debatten som hon kan utnyttja för att till slut vinna den.Frågor som kan vara intressanta för vidare forskning är om Schymans konfliktskapande attityduttryck kan generaliseras till andra retoriker och med vilket syfte det i så fall verkar ske. Sådan forskning skulle kunna nyansera den retorik som framförs i politiska debatter och indirekt bidra till att granska dessa ideologikritiskt..

In this essay i present a study on political learning of a minority ethnicity whose political history in the institutional form began in 1993. The ethnicity in question is the Sami?s and in 1993 the Sami Parliament was established. The establishment of the Sami parliament radically changed the preconditions for political work. Sami politics came to be pursued in an organized manner in the form of a public authority and democratically elected units.

The purpous of this master?s thesis is to explore how the swedish public library evolved between 1890-1911, before the state implemented the library reform in 1912. The material used to cunduct the study concists mainly of texts published during the time frame of the thesis in the form of books, booklets and articles from Folkbiblioteksbladet, a journal dedicated to the subject of the swedish public library.Drawing upon Habermas theory of the structural transformation of the public sphere and Bourdieus theories about taste as social distinction and symbolic capital, the thesis seeks to show how the public participated in the evolvement of the public library and which aspects of society that contributed to the public library?s establishment as an institution. The findings are also discussed in relation to previous research of the history of the Swedish public library.

The harmonization within EC Company Law has been relativley successful. Despite its relative success; important differences still remains in European company law.The freedom of establishment itself, and the ECJ?s interpretation of the freedom provides European companies with a substantial cross-border mobility. As a consequence of this mobility, together with the differences in national legislation; mandatory rules in company law can be easily evaded. A typical example of this is that a Swedish enterprise, by running their business through a British private limited company, can escape the Swedish legislation on capital contributions when forming a company with limited liability for its members.

Since 2005, the number of golf members in Swedish golf clubs has declined. This is a major problem for many golf clubs since it can lead to over establishment of golf courses. This essay is about how golf clubs in North West Skåne, the second golf densest area in the world, work to maintain their members. The sample consists of eight golf clubs which have been geographic delimited by a 30 km radius out of Helsingborg. The research is based on qualitative interviews with the manager of each golf club.

The work aims to problemize and increase the understanding for the new labour market's flexible organising. By using Elias and Scotson's theory, the new organisational form of hiring doctors in healthcare will exemplify the developments taking place with many temporary jobs and how it affects the intrinsic structure of a work to be studied. The essay will focus on examining how the interaction affected between established nurses and new temporary doctors given the new form. How the interaction of the recently established group possesses a higher social-, economic- and cultural capital than the already established working group? The method is a qualitative study with three long and deep semi-structured interviews.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the problems in multilingual thesauri, with a focus on the problem of conceptual equivalence between different languages. This study compares the problems and solutions that have been carried out in the Eurovoc multilingual thesaurus with the ISO 5964 ISO 5964 is a guideline for establishment and development of multilingual thesauri. The Swedish descriptors in the subject area "education and communication", from Eurovoc have been observed and compared with the guidelines recommendations. The results show that, the majority of the investigated Swedish descriptors do not present any problem. Most of the terms that are used as descriptors are found in dictionaries and glossaries or appear with high frequency in Swedish websites.

Over the past 40 years 600 000 ha of lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta ssp. latifolia (Engelm.) Critchf.) has been planted in Sweden (280 000 ha on SCA's forest land alone which represents about 15% of the company's total forest land area). In the early 70's SCA situated a number of experimental stands in order to investigate different aspects of the exotic tree, primarily growth rate. To be able to compare the two species plots with scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), this species was also planted at the same time and under the same conditions. A number of questions should always be raised when exotic species are introduced in an ecosystem. Invasiveness, the pathogen situation and purely ethical issues should be discussed.

Går det att sammanföra dessa traditioner och redskap? En grupp ämneslärare på gymnasiet deltar i ett samtalsseminarium där det ingår en kurs i praktisk retorik.
