This work is a study of subject teachers in social studies and science understand the concept of sustainable development. The work uses a qualitative and a quantitative approach. Teachers in various schools and stages have been answering questions about how they perceive sustainability, how they implement it in teaching and if they feel that school is important for the future of sustainable development at large.The theoretical background is based on environmental ethics as well as the different meanings and definitions of the concept of sustainable development. These theories and definitions are coupled with the empirical results.The study concludes that all teachers throughout the study perceive the concept of sustainable development as something ecological, something that has to do with nature. A few teachers also state economic and social dimensions.Questions about how the teachers in the study implement the concept in their teaching can be seen as three different approaches.

The majority of the interviewed school counselors lacked the knowledge and experience of a student curative work online but some had discussed this phenomenon at work. One counselor worked daily with a pupil curative work online. The intention of interviewing universities to investigate whether there are elements of social work education that addresses a social work online defaulted unfortunately because they choose not to participate in the study.The main conclusion of our study is that school counselors consider themselves lacking sufficient knowledge to conduct pupil curative conversations online.

This essay aims to examine Martha Nussbaum's proposal for a classical defense of reform in liberal education and her critique of utility thinking in higher education. I want to explore how Nussbaum uses history to create an ethical alternative that cultivates both moral and intellectual virtues, which she considers to be crucial for the survival of democracy. In examining Nussbaum's use of Aristotle, I focus on her work as a proposal for institutional implementation of an Aristotelian epistemology and the cultivation of the individual as an ethical political subject. This study highlights the epistemological, educational and political ideas that form the basis of Nussbaum's ideals. I intend, however, to go beyond a contextualizing reading and thus establish a dialogue with a radical intersubjectivity to respond to Nussbaum's ambitions to recognize human vulnerabilities as assets for reason.

Denna uppsats behandlar publiceringen av bilder av döda på sociala nätverk. Forskningsfrågan är vad som karakteriserar publiceringen av dödsbilder på sociala nätverk vad avser just framställningen av bilderna. Den teoretiska bakgrunden är i huvudsak David Campbells teorier kring hur publicering av bilder av lidande och död styrs genom tre etiskt normativa regulatorer. Metoden är semiotisk analys och i tre fallstudier fastslås att publiceringarna är otypiska främst för att de förekommer medan det är mycket ovanligt att se publiceringar av denna typ i traditionella medier. Bilderna uppfyller inte rådande standard i medieindustrin vad gäller smakfullhet och anständighet.

Den metod som används är en komparativ textanalys. Our purpose was to investigate which readiness, different sectors in a minor city has to meet honour-related problems. We wanted to investigate how they manage honour-related problems and how the co-operation in these cases is between different authorities. Our questions at issue were: Which knowledge's, experiences there are about the culture of honour, which resources has the authorities and how is the co-operation between different organisations work?We have collected present documentation and research about the subject. We made eight quality interviews with different persons within professions, as we understood, came in contact with cultures of honour.

Revisionsplikt i små aktiebolag har debatterats flitigt i affärs- och fackpress i Sverige de senaste åren. Från 2007 är Sverige ensamt bland de gamla EU-länderna (innan utvidgningen 2004) att ha kvar revisionsplikten för samtliga aktiebolag.Utredningens syfte är att beskriva hur en slopad revisionsplikt kan påverka Handelsbankens och SEB:s kreditbedömning av små aktiebolag. För att uppfylla syftet har vi genomfört två intervjuer på respektive bank. Som teoretisk referensram för bankers kreditbedömning används agentteori. Där beskrivs hur asymmetrisk information mellan långivare och låntagare skapar risk för negativt urval (adverse selection) samt osäker lojalitet (moral hazard).

Utslaget av denna analys har blivit en diskussion kring dels specifika scener, dels hur filmen i sin helhet ger uttryck för historiebruk och på vad sätt ett historiemedvetande kan stimuleras. Av vikt har även varit att framhålla på vilket sätt filmen som narrativ kan stimulera ett historiemedvetande. I have in my thesis performed a survey that builds on interviews of five former students at Mediepedagogiskt Center (Mpc) that is located at Sundsta-Älvkullegymnasiet in Karlstad which is incorporated into Karlstads-Hammarö comprehensive upper secondary school. The sample group of students all has various withdrawal years between 1997 - 2004. The aim of the survey is to evaluate any direct qualities that these students have had that helped them to get a occupation within the media industry after the completion of their education at Mpc. This survey also tries to evaluate whether the orientation of their particular style of education is a factor for achieving employment. Before 1998 the course was divided into three A and B-level courses within the directions, photography, graphic design, text communication, sound production and film/television. After 1998 these are now divided into one A, B and C level courses, and one another level courses on A and B-level. The result shows that something more than? just? a good schooling with high grades is needed to succeed into getting a occupation within the media sector.

Religionsämnet har genomgått stora förändringar de senaste 100 åren, från att ha varit ett konfessionellt kristendomsämne till att ha blivit ett ämne präglat av förståelse för andras kulturer och livsåskådningar samt etik. Ämnet väcker många reaktioner och elever i gymnasieskolan har många åsikter kring ämnets innehåll och nytta. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur ämnet har förändrats genom att studera olika kursplaner. Vad som påverkat dessa förändringar kommer också att granskas. Att ta reda på hur dagens gymnasieelever ser på religionsämnet är också en del av denna studie.

According to the national curriculum guidelines for elementary school, preschool and after-school 2011, (i.e. Lgr11), the Swedish school is based on a democratic foundation. Schools should prepare students to develop an understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity not only in the society as a whole but also how this should be reflected in the morals and ethics between us. The purpose of this study was to describe how teachers in multicultural schools perceptions and experiences on teaching pupils with diverse immigrant origin, and how they apply these cultural expression in practice.In particular, I focus on four teachers in multicultural schools and how they reason about applying cultural expressions that are transmitted at these schools and by them. Explicitly, I review how from policy documents and their own personal pedagogic are reflected in the actual teaching.

This scientific essay starts in a story where you get to follow me in my work by three situations with creative problem behavior at the special school where I work. The story culminates in a dilemma where I ask myself questions about how I look at my actions and my thoughts about the student. I break down and put these thoughts into three questions: What is my student's perspective and how will it affect my actions?
