Nathan Söderblom, Swedish archbishop 1914 - 1931, understands his role as bishop from an integrated theological conception that episcopacy is a gift to the church and the apostolic succession a heritage of utmost value. Episcopacy is an important tool to make the churches come together. in his work for peace during the Great War it was through his position without any power that he could approach the politicians. His calling was not only for Sweden; he had a responsibility for the whole world. In the Ecumenical Cope for the 1925 Stockholm meeting Söderblom expressed his views on the importance of the Uppsala see.

We have in this essay studied the Swedish Hedge Fund Market available for the average Swedish private investor. We have closely looked at the risk measurements that are applicable on the evaluation of Hedge Funds today, and furthermore studied how they are communicated and what they actually contribute with in terms of risk and yield. Our survey attempts to clarify the shortcomings in the communication between the Hedge Fund Managers and their smaller investors. Do they really know where they put their money? The market is rapidly expanding and our goal was to find improved ways to inform about the Hedge Funds risks and opportunities.

Jag har genomfört en studieresa till A.C.E.-Tabor, Danmark, där jag studerat en annorlunda pedagogik, A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education), som bygger på individualiserad undervisning med eleven i centrum och där eleven själv sätter sina studiemål.Det som särskilt väckt mitt intresse är att man utgår från bibeln i undervisningen och försöker lära eleverna efterfölja Jesu karaktärsdrag, som avspeglas i undervisningsmaterialet och lärarnas förhållningssätt. Jag har försökt finna idéer och tankar inom pedagogiken som skulle kunna berika vår religionsundervisning. För att få en bild av hur religionsundervisningen bedrivs i dagens svenska skolor, har jag använt mig av en enkät, som låg- och mellanstadielärare fått besvara.Av enkäten framgår det att så gott som alla lärare använder sig av bibeln i undervisningen, främst som uppslagsbok för egen förberedelse och för att visa omfång och uppläggning. Etik och moral anses viktigt, men många skulle gärna ha mer kunskap i ?ämnet?..

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) does not have an explicit definition but instead entail a broad spectrum of various obligations that an organisation is responsible for. CSR has in recent years become a highly relevant and debatable topic as a consequence of the increased exposure of companies to society. Due to an augmented consumption from the general population, CSR is of great importance in companies' aspiration to create and maintain a solid relationship with costumers. Previous researches have described what areas of CSR are most relevant in terms of consumption. However, it can be suggested that these publications have failed to provide an indication of what type of costumers these various areas attract.

During the last decades, brand equity has been a priority topic for both practitioners and academics. In accordance with the structural changes in the economic settings caused by the so-called "new economy", corporations being confronted with a shift on perceived business value structure from tangible assets to intangibles. On the other hand firms increasingly are adopting more responsible behaviour towards their societies. In this context, one critical question is to understand how corporate conduct may affect brand equity. The purpose of this study was to find how brand equity (BE) measurement methods embrace corporate responsibility (CR), based on a literature review.

Carl Gustav von Brinkman was born in Nacka, Sweden 1764 but in his eleventh year he was sent away by his father to the Herrnhuter school in Niesky to become a missionary. Brinkman developed other plans. The experience of the school as a place that censured his thoughts and hindered his development, took an early start and grew stronger. Introduction: Parents have been shown to be of great importance in preventing cannabis use among adolescents. Parenting practices such as control, open communication and good relations within the family have shown to be protective factors, whereas lack of communication and weak social and emotional support have been associated with an increased risk for cannabis use among adolescents. Aim: The aim of the study has been to explore parents? perceptions about their own importance in preventing cannabis use among adolescents. Method: A qualitative method consisting of focus group interviews has been used to fulfill the aim.

Syftet med detta arbete var att ta reda på hur pedagoger i grundskolan arbetar med och tänker kring etikundervisning. Arbetet utgår från läroplanens mål och hur pedagoger i skolan bedriver sin undervisning i etik.I litteraturgenomgången behandlar styrdokument, grundläggande gemensamma värden, teoretiska utgångspunkter för kunskap och lärande, perspektiv på barns etik och etikundervisning i skolan.Den empiriska undersökningen bygger på kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer som genomförts med tio pedagoger verksamma i olika skolår.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att etikundervisning är viktigt för pedagoger i skolan. Utifrån intervjuerna har vi sett att en sådan undervisning bedrivs om än i olika former. En del pedagoger säger sig ha etik på schemat, medan andra låter det integreras i alla ämnen. Centralt är att skolan är viktig för barns lärande och etikutveckling och det viktigaste är att diskussioner kring etik och moral får utrymme i skolan.

The personality involves store atmosphere, merchandise and advertising. Larger companies have chosen to lay the responsibility on management level, which facilitates on store level. By controlling the strategies on a central level the company can make sure that the stores are steered in the direction that the company wants them to be steered in, and also that they follow the positioning-concept. The company can also devote its efforts to working with its core value, which is service.

When the producers? responsibility for packaging was introduced in Sweden in 1994 the industry set up public recycling stations to facilitate the collection of the waste material. In order to establish recycling stations at suitable locations the municipalities assist the industry?s service organization for operation of the recycling stations, the Package and Newspaper Collection Service (Förpacknings- och tidningsinsamlingen, FTI). The objectives of this thesis are to improve the service of the public recycling stations within Lidingö town and to increase the accessibility to these stations for the inhabitants of Lidingö.

AbstractThis essay has as its purpose to discuss the current legal regulation of the concept of humanitarian intervention. The inconsistencies in the debate over the legal status of this concept, and the legal uncertainty it brings to the acts of states and the lives of their nationals is a motivating factor for the writing of this essay. However, it has been clear from the outset that the concept of humanitarian intervention is intricately connected to political and moral ideas and values. Thus, the attitude taken towards this doctrine will be highly dependent on the perspectives of the state, government or single author representing it.Following this starting point, the aim of this essay is not to present a single answer as to whether humanitarian intervention is, or is not, legal, but to research, compare and analyze the different arguments put forward in this subject in international law today. Hopefully, this will provide the reader of this essay with some insight into the sources of international law of today and how the principles of state sovereignty, non-intervention, the prohibition of force and the protection of human rights relate to the concept of humanitarian intervention.A frank overview of the UN Charter does not support use of force except in the case of self-defence or without a Security Council mandate.

Bakgrund och problem Medvetenheten och intresset för företagens ansvarsroll i samhället har ökat. Idag har debatten till mångt och mycket kommit att handla om ett samlingsbegrepp för samhällsansvar - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Läkemedelsföretagens kärnverksamhet är att förbättra människors hälsa och livskvalitet och därmed kan det ses som att CSR redan är integrerat i företagens kärnverksamhet. Motiven till varför läkemedelsföretag arbetar med CSR är således inte självklara. Problemformulering AstraZeneca och Pfizer arbetar med CSR trots att deras kärnverksamhet redan kan sägas innehålla ett samhällsansvar.
