The field of coping has become more developed during the past decades but there is still a lot to be discovered and discussed. Theories of developmental psychology describe the possibility to map a general developmental structure of how the human mind expands. The aim of this study is to contribute to further research in whether there is a reason why we cope the way we do in relation to age. The questions answered in this study was, what coping two girls, whom lived during the Holocaust, used and how the coping found, were possible to interpret from theories of developmental psychology. In order to answer the questions asked a method called Template Analysis Style and three different theories have been applied.

The purpose of the essay is both to bring forward the threats images, sectors, actors and referents that can be found at the European border between 2007-2010 and to explore whether they change during this period. Furthermore, the essay also intends to review the Copenhagen School?s theory of securitization. The analysis of the essay will be done on the European commission?s ?Enlargement Strategy and Main Challenges?, a rapport that focus on the European border and its enlargement.

Uppsatsen undersöker fyra artiklar ur den konservativa kulturtidsskriften Axess magasin, vilka orsakade två infekterade kulturdebatter åren 2008 och 2009 i Sverige. Dessa artiklar menade att skönheten gått förlorad i samtidskonsten och riktade sin kritik mot det rådande kulturetablissemanget. Axess menade att det modernistiska normbrytande idealet allt för länge varit ett kriterium för god konst och de förespråkade därför ett alternativ till denna norm. Detta alternativ blev sedan hårt kritiserat av kultursidorna i dagspressen och av kulturtidsskrifter generellt.Men vad var det som var så provokativt med Axess alternativa konstideal? För att få en förståelse för detta, krävs en ingående analys av dessa artiklar, vilket är vad denna uppsats gör.

With this master thesis I wanted to find out whether Erik Fichtelius, an SVT employee, interview project with prime minister Göran Persson is acceptable according to the public service ideology. In order to do that I used Swedish newspaper articles to analyse the so called Fichtelius affair. I also gathered material on SVT and the public service ideology. The master thesis is based on sociologist Manuel Castells theories on mass media and television as presented in the Information Age. Castells claims that in our time different areas, such as politics and television, are melting together.

The objective of this project was to develop the visual identityof Halleluja, a brand new booking agency representing approximatelytwenty minor artists within a wide range of contemporarymusic styles.The outcome has been applied to business cards and awebsite yet to be produced. To attract the audience and differentiateitself from other booking companies, Halleluja featuresa minimalist design that speaks of dedication, breadth ofgenres and exclusive taste. Although my sketches have beenapproved by Lars Olsson and Erik Sundfeldt, the co-foundersof Halleluja, I have had the privilege of working quite freely andstarting from scratch, since there was no earlier work done onthe company.Some of the issues I have faced during my process wasabout finding the right tone of voice in type and colour, ordealing with the semantics of the corporate name (meaning»praise the Lord«). I?ve also been struggling to come to termswith my own self-censorship and my slighly suspicious view onbranding..

Augusti är en händelserik månad. Den innehåller många olika händelser, några sorgliga exempelvis slutet på sommaren, slutet på semestern mm. Den har också en hel del positiva inslag, exempelvis kräftpremiär och skatteåterbäring. Det vill säga om nu inte Johan Wahlström i sina reklamfilmer fått oss att ansöka om e-legitimation och att vi därmed får skattepengarna till midsommar. Men är verkligen alla deklarationer korrekta? Hur granskas dessa hos Skatteverket? Vad händer om det är något fel? Kan man ändra ett beslut i efterhand? I så fall, hur går det till?Denna uppsats fokuserar på vad som händer om det är fel i deklarationen och i vilka fall som Skatteverket i efterhand kan ändra ett redan tagit beslut.

Arbetets syfte är att fördjupa förståelsen för vad ett socialt kunskaps- och lärandebegrepp är och vilka konsekvenser det kan få för utformningen av undervisningen. Arbetet utgår ifrån Johan Asplunds begrepp om social responsivitet och dess betydelse för en social förståelse av kunskap och lärande. Det sker genom kvalitativa textanalyser av Jean Jacques Rousseaus bildningsroman Emile (1762)och Lpf 94. Översiktligt anger resultatet vilket utrymme elevens sociala responsivitet ges genom den förmedlade förståelsen av kunskaps- och lärandebegreppen. Lpf 94 utvecklar en bildningsorienterad och konstruktivistisk syn på begreppen.

Uppsatsen handlar om spelet Memory där vi utgår från vissa regler som gör det möjligt att räkna sannolikheter av olika strategier. Vi använder oss av 2 strategier, säker och vågad strategi, för att utifrån olika positioner i spelet beräkna hur många par en spelare kan förväntas få. Vi gör en jämförelse mellan strategierna och undersöker vilken strategi är bäst att använda sig av i olika lägen i spelet. Det vi har gjort i vårt arbete är att utveckla ErikAlfthans [1] grundidé, att spelarna har oändligt minne och att spelet bara innehåller par. Där har vi gjort två förgreningar där den ena handlar om att spelarna har begränsat minne.

Uppsatsen jämför de båda svenska översättningarna av JRR Tolkiens Lord of the Rings: Åke Ohlmarks Sagan om ringen från 1959 och Erik Anderssons Ringens brödraskap från 2004. Syftet är att se vilken översättning som är närmast originalet och författarens intentioner. Genom att jämföra olika uttryck ges en konkret bild av vilken översättning som mest överensstämmer med Tolkiens originaltext. Dessutom tas olika aspekter på översättande i allmänhet upp, likväl som vilka specifika svårigheter som finns i översättandet av bokens olika konstruerade språk. Min slutsats är att Ringens brödraskap är mest trogen originalet och att läsaren i den får mer eget tolkningsuttrymme..

Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur personer som har ett personligt ombud för psykiskt funktionshindrade upplevde dennes insatser. Undersökningen gjordes med kvalitativa individuella intervjuer. Dessa genomfördes, i likhet med hela forskningsprocessen med ett fenomenologiskt förhållningssätt. Detta teoretiska val kändes naturligt då syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka informanternas egna upplevelser. Intervjuerna transkriberades ordagrant och analyserades sedan enligt en fenomenologisk analysmetod och presenterades därefter i undersökningens resultatkapitel.

Erik Andersson: Utanför Murarna: En studie av Ulf Lundells och rockkulturens outsiderpositionering. Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för musikvetenskap, 2007.The main aim of this essay is to show how the artist Ulf Lundell presents himself as someone with an outsider's view of life. This also includes showing that this aspiration is a common one among artists in the rock culture.The aim was reached by studying texts, lyrics, interviews, articles of and with Lundell and then applying theories about authenticity and performativity on this material. In order to put this in a context I looked at a similar material but with a much broader perspective, artists from different countries, genres and eras is here included.The conclusion of this study is that a kind of norm system in the rock culture has developed and Lundell is acting accordingly to these rules. The outsider position has become an important ingredient in Lundell's persona and this position can also be seen as a given norm in the wider context.

The project is about making a Re-Design of the Swedish Socialistic Newspaper ?Dagens ETC?. The background to the project is my search for commitment when I work with a specific customer or project and how importantthat commitment are?The project was from the beginning split up to three different phases. The meaning of the first phase where to make a re-design mainly based on a interview with Johan Ehernberg, the chef editor on ETC.The second phase was a design totally made of my own idea and creative view as a Graphic Designer.I had in mind to make the third phase based on the result of the first two phases.During phase one and two I reconsidered and decided to skip the third step and put more effort in to the two first ones.

What effects deliberative democracy could have in this context are scientifically as well as publically relevant seeing that participation in representative democracies as well as the forms of representation is altering.The essay contains both a theoretical segment and a case study. The information regarding the case is based on the results from a questioner, conversations by and observations from the author. In addition an analysis is performed in the case study.The conclusion of the essay is that there is too little empirical research on the subject of deliberative democracy to make a qualified conclusion about what effects the practice of deliberative democracy could have on a representative democracy.

In his master thesis, Johan Jutterström pursues an anti-aesthetic and ethic artistic process. He?s using mainly three different strategies; reasoning through text, composing for ensemble, and solo improvising on the saxophone. Through composing the piece for 12 musicians Trästolen, Jutterström tries to erase himself and his taste from the music. In that endeavor he looks to physics as a catalyst.
