Produktionsuppföljning på WilloMaskin AB
The purpose with this bachelor thesis is to identify risks and insufficiencies concerning the production at WilloMaskin AB. The project is limited to only 4 machines, where theories as ?OEE? (overall Equipment efficacy) should be illuminated and analyzed. The theory of ?Single Minute Exchange of Die? is also presented.The method used in this project is mostly based on qualitative studies but also quantitative studies are presented.

Earlier studies of musculoskeletal problems with milkers working in milking parlour
operators have shown that it is a physically demanding occupation. The extremities that are
most exposed are neck, shoulders, hands and wrists. Those systems that have been studied in
present cases are fishbone and some tandem barns.
There have been changes in the working environment during the past ten years. The
mechanisation has been developed for the better with automatically removers of the milking
units and vertically adjustable floors in almost every daily milking barn. In other hand the
milk production are more industrialised and more related to stress today.
Improvements in milking management through imitation of calf behaviour
Approximately 20% of the milk within the udder of a cow is stored in the cistern and immediately available for milk removal, while activation of the milk ejection reflex is required for removing the remaining milk stored in the alveolar compartment. The aim of this literature review is to describe, evaluate and consider implications of the three different suckling activities that the calf displays during a suckling bout. In terms of milking, these phases are represented by pre-stimulation, stimulation during milking and post-stimulation. Pre-stimulation is commonly performed in order to induce the milk ejection reflex, whereby the hormone oxytocin is released and the alveoli in the secretory tissue are contracted. Time requirements regarding pre-stimulation must be considered in relation to lactation stage and milking interval.

I have chosen to work with drag hose system and try to find an alternative to spread manure with a usually tank system, see if you can make a profit and what advantage and disadvantage the system has.
The purpose whith the project has been to try to make a system that can spread manure at better occasions than farmers do today and above everything make a financial addition. Today it is just a heavy work and takes a lot of time.
I have counted on investment costs and carefully examined what Equipment you need. I have not the technical details in my project, I have just tried to understand how it is to spread manure with drag hose system today.
What is drag hose system?
You put a hose in your manuretank, connect it to a pump that is driven by a traktor or stationary engine. You place a hose that reach the field were you are going to spread.

Wavecraft AB develops medical Equipment for heating of organic synthesises. The heating is done with microwaves, which improves the process in both speed and accuracy compared to the more traditional methods where heating elements are used. This report discusses the developement of an automatic lid mechanism for one of Wavecraft's product prototypes. The company assumes that the final product will be integrated by customers into fully automated systems, and the upgrade from a manually to an automatically controlled lid is therefore an important step in the product's developement process.The first stage och the project was an idea generation process. Moduluppbyggnad av ramstyrda dumprar ur ett produktionsperspektiv ? Volvo CE AB i Braås
Denna rapport i form av examensarbete för utbildningsprogrammet Managing Technology and Business Projects, är en del i Volvos framtida produktions-/ produktstrategier.Uppsatsens syfte är att ur ett produktionsperspektiv understödja Volvo Construction Equipment i Braås i strävan mot en ökad modulindelning av ramstyrda dumprar, som en del i utvecklingsarbetet för en effektivare produktion. Resultat har uppnåtts genom analys av intern och extern benchmarking jämfört med den teori som finns inom ämnesområdet modulindelning. Huvudresultatet visar att teorin och verkligheten skiljer sig genom att modulindelning ska anpassas individuellt utifrån varje företag och inte fungerar som en generellt applicerbar process. Slutsatsen visar att Volvo CE i Braås måste utveckla en egen handlingsplan och kravspecifikation utifrån egna definitioner som är skräddarsydda specifikt för företaget.I rapporten presenteras förslag till ovanstående handlingsplan för modulindelning på Volvo CE i Braås..

Many companies do not register all the stops that occur in a production plant, it often takes longer to report than to fix the problem. If no problems are registered, you cannot trace where the problems arise.This master thesis was performed at AcobiaFLUX and they have noticed an increased demand from their customers to trace problems raised in their processes. The aim of the thesis was to find out how a tool to monitor a process best could be developed. Then the most essential from the theoretical base was developed into a useful tool for operators. For the operators to know if the process utilizes the full capacity of a process, the tool presents a measure of the Overall Equipment Efficiency, OEE.
Utredning av tvättning vid Volvo CE Components
Detta examensarbete är resultatet av en utredning av tvättning och rengöring av produkter som tillverkas på Volvo Construction Equipment Components AB i Eskilstuna. Arbetet är uppdelat på två huvudområden, tvättning i processen samt slutgiltig renhet. Skillnaderna mellan dessa är framförallt att det finns fastställda krav på den slutgiltiga renheten för artiklarna men en motsvarande märkning saknas för de olika tillverkningsstegen. Idag tvättas ungefär 70% av TMAs artiklar i en central tvättstation. I och med detta uppstår en hel del problem med ledtider och kvalitet.

Objective: To investigate the experiences of ambulance nurses when using Boussignac CPAPcompared to their previous model, and their suggestions for possible improvements in the use of CPAP in the care of patients with pulmonary oedema. Method: A qualitative study with a descriptive and exploratory approach. Data was collected through ten semi-structured interviews with ambulance nurses, seven men and three women. The analysis was conducted using Lundman and Graneheim?s content analysis.

Ravelsmarks gård have now reached the stage when there are few options for the future. The
options are either a construction of completely new farm buildings or a winding up of the
milk production. Present on the farm today there is 65 dairy cows plus recruitment. 44 cows
stand in long-stalls and 20 cows stand in short-stalls.
The objective of this study was to examine the profitability of a completely new cowshed.
In order to get costs for investments different milking systems and Equipment for feedstuff
have been compared. The systems in the investment budget have been chosen on
recommendations from advisers, salesmen and on the basis on what is suitable for the farm.
One system where a so-called mix feeder wagon is used for the roughage seemed to be best
suited for Ravelsmark.
The different prices obtained for the manure well show that there are possibilities to decrease
the investment costs.

This bachelor degree project was carried out at Saab AB Service and Repair, Arboga, Sweden. The objective was to design, construct and implement a new stable and reliable method of measuring the continuous vertical displacement (height) of the military search radar PS861 mounted on a hydraulic powered elevator. The end product needs to be durable enough to be fully operational in the harsh environment of an outdoor elevator shaft and yet as accurate and precise as possible since one of its purposes is to calibrate control Equipment. Previously used technique has proven not to meet any of the above mentioned properties.A prototype using a high resolution quadrature output rotary encoder has been developed, allowing a completely digital interface. This new method has been evaluated in laboratory environment where tests have been conducted regarding both reliability and validity.

These studies are done in behalf of Saab AB AVITRONICS in Järfälla in the form of a thesis atthe Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.The task was to examine the parameters that plays a role in the construction of modern radomesoperating in broadband applications.This was interesting for Saab to get an indication of which way they should go at the newdevelopment of radomes for the next generation of Equipment for electronic warfare.After a thorough analysis of the influencing parameters, a optimization application was made toget a automated way to get a radome design by specifying data on the radome size, airloads,materials, etc.This is to minimise the time of the laborious work that radome development.inply.This was solved by letting ANSYS calculate the strength of the radome structure and MATLABcalculate electromagnetic data and cost models of different sizes and materials.All these parameters woven together with the optimization tool modeFrontier picks data from therespective program and perform an optimization algorithm and then iterate a step and sends thisdata to calculation programs for the new input data. In the end, we have received a convergedpoint with our optimal solution.For the presumptions and limitations for which applied for this thesis, the result was prettyintuitive. That is to say that the smaller radome - the less materal is needed and lowermanufacturing costs results in the cheapest solution possible. The reality is not so simple.
