On-site sewage systems are common on the countryside of Sweden with approximately one million on-site systems installed. Due to insufficient function, these contribute significantly to the total discharge of phosphorus to rivers and lakes, causing eutrophication. In order to reduce eutrophication and to fulfil one of the environmental quality objectives, the decision was taken by the Swedish Government in 2005 that 60 % of phosphorous in sewage sludge is to be recycled to arable land before 2015. To make recycling a reality, new solutions have to be found. Federation of Swedish Farmers (LRF) takes an active interest in this issue and has initiated this study. One problem is that the food industry is sceptical towards recirculation due to the risks that products from sewage systems may contain pathogens, heavy metals and unwanted chemical compounds, e.g.

 The current estimations in regards to the increase in environmental threats underline the importance of influencing individual behavior towards a more sustainable lifestyle. At the same time current trends show an increasing interest into ecologically produced foods around the world and that the consumption has seen a major rise in the 20th century. It is therefore of great importance that companies show their interest and commitment in order to offer and influence the consumer into choosing the environmentally sustainable alternative. Also, in order to properly reach out to the consumers, it is of outmost importance to map out their attitude towards these types of products. It is equally important, in order to fully realize the potential of successful positioning, to show an understanding for the underlying decision processes that dictates purchase.

After been told that an ordinary winter service for our combine should cost more than 20000 SEK, not included spare parts, I decided to write this paper about today?s requirement of the workshop on a farm. I think that the lack of proper premises is the reason way not more of the ordinary machinery maintenance or upkeep is performed on the farm. When I did my literature survey I found that the Swedish environmental code, set by the Swedish law regulate how drain or sewer should be built. The environmental code however leaves a lot for your own interpretation. It might not be so bad but it must be very hard for the local environmental office to interpretation the regulations, since they are the ones that gives permission for the sewer in your workshop.

Syftet är beskriva och analysera tillsynen som arbetssätt samt att utifrån några miljö- och hälsoskyddsinspektörers tankar och erfarenheter reflektera över om det går att finna möjligheter att utveckla tillsynsmetodiken. Frågeställningar är: Vilka uppfattningar och erfarenheter har inspektörerna när det gäller tillsynsmetodiken? Hur ser de på sin yrkesroll och arbetsvillkoren? Hur tänker inspektörerna kring möjligheter och svårigheter när det gäller att utveckla inspektörsjobbet? Studien har genomförts med hjälp av intervjuer, observationer och observationsschema. Resultatet visar att många miljö- och hälsoskyddsinspektörer ofta är utelämnade att på egen hand utarbeta sätt att arbeta på. Utvecklingsmöjligheterna för inspektörerna är begränsade.

Several thousand years of human impact on the landscape in the form of cultivation is the reason to many nature- and culture values in the agricultural landscape today. Intensification and rationalization has led to vast monocultures and has forced many farms to close down. These trends have increased in the last years and constitute great threats to the values of the cultivation landscape. The purpose with the environmental objective A varied agricultural landscape is to protect these values. The environmental action plan of the municipality of Lund (LundaEko) 2006-2012 is built on the 16 national environmental objectives. The purpose with this paper is to put together material that the municipality of Lund can use in their work with modifying the local intermediate goals for the environmental objective A varied cultural landscape. The overall issue for this paper is ?What has happened with the state of the cultivation landscape in the municipality of Lund since LundaEko was approved in 2006?? The paper seeks to portrait the current conditions of the following fields: meadows and pastures, organic farming, exploitation threats to agricultural land, landscape elements with cultural values and species that are threatened.

Föreliggande examensuppsats undersöker vilka möjliga betydelser och meningsinnebörder feministiska perspektiv kan ha för bedrivandet av psykoterapi. Utifrån en explorativ och förståelsegrundande ansats intervjuades 13 svenska behandlare med självidentifierade feministiska utgångspunkter om hur de ser på skärningsytorna mellan feminism och psykoterapi, sin yrkesroll, samt vilka konsekvenser deras feministiska perspektiv får i det praktiska behandlingsarbetet.Resultaten visar att feministisk terapi som begrepp framstår som i stort sett oetablerat i en svensk psykoterapeutisk kontext, att förhållandevis lite forskning på området tidigare är gjord, samt att intervjudeltagarna ofta framställer sammanjämkningen mellan feministiska och psykoterapeutiska diskurser som komplicerad. De medverkande beskriver sina feministiska utgångspunkter som en bakomliggande filosofi snarare än en uppsättning tekniker. Dessa omsätts i terapeutisk behandlingspraktik genom en problematisering av maktaspekter, ett uppmärksammande av strukturella faktorers inverkan på subjektivitetsskapandet, samt ett kritiskt och stundtals avståndstagande förhållningssätt till specifika delar av de gängse terapiparadigmen. With increasing energy prices and increased focus on the environment we saw the need for companies to get control over their energy use and their emission of carbon dioxid. An analysis tool that integrates both these areas is, with our knowledge, not available on the market today. Therefore, our project became to develop such a tool.By doing this degree project we would like to clarify that energy consumption and environmental impact are integrated. The less energy consumed by today?s society the smaller the environmental impact will be.

AbstractThis degree thesis was made in cooperation with Chematur Engineering in Karlskoga.Many of the environmental issues of today are a result of the motor traffic. Consumption of fossil fuels harms our environmental through formation of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. To get under control with our environmental issues it?s important to find substitutes for oil that are both cheap and environmentally friendly. Ethanol has a long history as a motor fuel and is both enviromentally friendly has a high efficiency.According to the EU commissions directives for motor fuels, 5, 75 % of all the fuels in Sweden should be renewable in 2010.
