Changes in the climate and the Environment are largely consequences of human influences. Resources are given to teach adults about the Environment. However, there are problems in focusing on adults because it is difficult to influence people when they already have created a lifestyle. We have instead chosen to focus on teaching children about changes in the climate and the consequences of this. Many of the toys available on the market today encourage children to consume. Luxury cars and dolls with hundreds of accessories are often made of materials that has have a negative effect on the Environment.Another problem we often encountered during the year is the declining interest in technology and science.
Gångvägsljus :
Discussing light and lighting in the night-time Environment of Tensta, a Stockholm suburb built between 1962 and 1970, this thesis suggests that lighting should be designed for the outdoor Environment as a whole. The feeling of safety and human perception are important components in this thesis.
Starting with some comments on visual perception and how we adapt our sight to an interval of the visual input we get, makes it possible to understand that more light sometimes hides, rather than reveals, things. Amongst the dispersed houses, in the green parks of Tensta, this turns the pedestrian roads, lit by pole-top-mounted fixtures, into light tunnels in a dark surrounding.
Talking about the feeling of safety I am inspired by, amongst others K. Lynch, B. Hjort and J.

There are few legally protected gardens in Sweden, and those that are protected are mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries. All time periods have the same value and more modern gardens therefore needs to be protected. Evaluating parks is, however, complicated since it do not exist any methods.
One Environment from the 1960?s that has not been protected is Televerket in Farsta, Stockholm. The facility has been classified as worthy of preservation by Stockholm City Museum and has received the Kasper Salin Prize.

This literature study deals with the pig industry and how group size and available floor area affects the animal welfare and the production results. It shows that both the pigs? welfare and production result can be affected negatively if the Environment seems stressful for the pigs, and if they are housed in a narrow area. If the pigs are being exposed to either physiological or psychological stress factors their immune system can be decreased and the growth can be impaired. Influence by the social status of the pigs is also reviewed.
"Dom kallar oss invandrare!"
This investigation is aimed to analyze and gain insight into how young people of the "second generation immigrants" identify themselves in a society where they are seen as immigrants of the Environment in view of the name. Also, how they identify themselves during trips to their home/country of origin are of relevance to see if they are affected in their own identification, depending on how they believe they are seen from the outside.Through a survey, the statistics were produced, which serves as a preliminary to the larger part of the investigation where six individuals were interviewed in order to give deeper answers to the questions sought. The answers that emerged were then analyzed in relation to selected theories. In connection with the investigation it has emerged that the young people in question often identify themselves in such a way that they think that the surroundings look at them. It is in relation to how others see them as they see themselves, which creates a distance between the surroundings and themselves. With increased knowledge on both sides, this distance between the Environment and the young people in this investigation maybe could reduce..
The purpose of this thesis was to determine what materials should be used when creating a stimulating garden for intellectually handicapped people and whether there are materials that are better than others to use in this kind of Environment. How the materials preferably can be used and how the Environment should be designed to satisfy the need of each individual will also be discussed.
Seriously intellectually handicapped people have the same level of intelligence as a normal 0-2 year old child. It is important to point out that these individuals can not be compared to a normal child in other aspects than the level of abstract thinking and perception of reality. As the grown up intellectually handicapped people have remained a lot longer on this stage of intelligence they have got more experience. (Kylén 1981)
It is important with a lot of different experiences for the brain to develop normally, which implies the use of many different materials to achieve the best stimulation (Kylén 1981).
Teaching preschool children about the Environment. A comparative study of how two preschools work with Environmental issues. My investigations are based on qualitative interviews and observations carried out at two preschools, one of which has a nature and Environment profile while the other works in traditional ways with these questions. I sought to explore the ways in which pedagogues in each preschool raise Environmental awareness and, more generally, awaken an interest in nature in the children. The consequences of methodological similarities and differences will be considered. This term paper concludes that the difference between an Environmental profile preschool and a traditional preschool working on Environmental awareness is not large. The knowledge gained by children in the latter preschool surpassed that gained in the former.

The aim of the study has been to explore certain aspects of implementation perspectives and to analyse the introduction of an Environmental management system called ecoBUDGET in the Municipality of Växjö. A framework has been developed through thorough studying of earlier research in the field of policy implementation in public administrations. The framework is made up of the steering relationship between politicians and public administrators, decision making and implementation and the ability, want and understanding of how and why decisions should/could be implemented. By using this framework in combination with interviews held with individuals that host valuable knowledge and experience of the system these questions were to be answered:-What factors in the implementation process of ecoBUDGET can be seen to have facilitated alternativly hindred the integration of the Environmental management system within the municipalitys administration and companies?- In what direction has the integration of a sustainable devleopment thinking for the Environment thru ecoBUDGET evolved within the organisation? The result came to be that sustainable development and the strive for this is more and more amalgamated in to the everyday work within the municipal organisation and that the Environmental management system is likely to have played a part in this..
Chef utan uniform : situationsanpassat ledarskap i Gotlands kommun
When a leader changes to a new post in another kind of organisational culture, what happens then? Could a leader use the same kind of leadership when leading different kinds of groups? Different cultures have different needs and ways to handle things and in the end it all comes to situational leadership. Both leaders and theorists claim that the leader must adjust to what the organisation and its members needs. This paper contains an inquiry of how officers have handled their new assignments as leaders in the civilian world of the municipality. The research shows that a former military leader must also be able to lead another kind of group if they change to a civilian career.
Children's need of a good Environment of playing
outdoor at schoolyards is, both from a perspective
of commonly public's health and from the children
themselves, indisputable. Children who have a
good and varying playground develop physically,
psychologically and socially. As an instrument of
pedagogic a playground also is valuable for example
in teaching the round, periodical successions
and understanding of democratic processes. The
conception playground means here in my work the
Environment outdoor for children at schools up to
about twelve years old.
What is a good playground then? How is it
possible for a landscape architect to contribute
improvements? The purpose of my work has
been to enlarge my knowledge about playgrounds,
understand more of the profession as a landscape
architect and apply a perspective of children in the
planning.
To sum up, the shaping of playgrounds has great
importance for the activities of the children and if
the teachers make use of it, the teaching.
A good playground gives the delight, the excitement
and the curiosity free spaces and stimulates new
challenges.
