Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur en entreprenör/ kreatör produktplacerar i bästa mån för att överleva i modebranschen. Metod: Kvalitativ med intervjuer som bas för empirin. Slutsats: Med hjälp av en positioneringsmodell kan entreprenören/kreatören ta ställning till sina konkurrenter och placera sin produkt till den tänkta målgruppen. Teorin hjälper företagare att strukturera upp en annars komplex hantering som i nystartade företag ?bara sker?.

Motiven bakom en investering i crowdfunding

It is well known that small businesses and Entrepreneurs in the initial phase has difficult to gain access to external capital and bank loans. With the background of the problems that Entrepreneurs face when they ask for capital has since the financial crisis the phenomenon of crowdfunding developed and evolved. Crowdfunding is an alternative source of funding for Entrepreneurs to fund their ideas through small or medium-sized capital contribution from a larger amount of investors, often investors who have any kind of relationship with the Entrepreneur or to the very idea. This study examined the factors that motivate and guide an investor's decisions when they select their projects. The results of the study show that the motives of the various existing forms of crowdfunding is big.

Entrepreneurs? work with Factors for Success in a Start-up Business

The purpose of this study is to examine whether there are any key factors for success to look for in launching a new business that affects the subsequent performance of the venture. Further on, the study will examine if there are any differences between believed and actual factors for success for an Entrepreneur and the key factors for success given by existing theory. The purpose of looking in to the assumed gap between existing theory and Entrepreneurs? believed and actual factors is to distinguish factors that make start-ups evolve. It is then important to investigate how they have worked with their business start-up and how they have worked with key factors for success in order to understand the impacts of their decisions.

The number of people that are categorized as being homeless in the Swedish society are increasing. This might be an indication that the methods being used today shows not to be working efficient enough. A group of researchers connected to the University of Lund are now in a process to spread new workingmethods against the problems with homelessness in Sweden. Their goal is to completely erase homelessness as a social problem. This new method of working is distinctively different from the one currently beeing used.

?Developing a crucial business plan template targeted to Swedish Venture Capitalists?

Objective To study if the Swedish venture capitalists consider business plans in their screening process, and in such case, what aspects they evaluate in order to develop a targeted template for Swedish Entrepreneurs. A secondary objective is to describe what other factors Swedish venture capitalists evaluate as a part of their assessment. Methodology The method, which has been used in order to test the objective, has been carried out through extensive literature and article studies, interviews, and distribution of a short and comprehensive questionnaire to a multiplicity of venture capitalists throughout Sweden. Conclusion Generally, the findings of this thesis suggest that a business plan should include elements such as a summary of important elements, a thorough market analysis, financial information, exit strategy, and the risks associated with the project. The empirical material also reveals that venture capitalists also evaluate factors such as ownership influence, the Entrepreneur?s industry knowledge, product knowledge and the personal chemistry in their evaluation process.

Vad skapar stress respektive trivsel hos avverkningslag? : en jämförelse mellan bolags- och entreprenörslag

As a student during my studies, I have been told about Entrepreneurs who have red numbers in their financial statements, and there is a forest machine operator shortage in Sweden. The basic idea of this thesis was to examine the underlying factors that may have caused the problems described above. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the factors that create stress and job satisfaction as a forest machine operator. The study was performed as a comparison between forest companies own harvesting teams and Entrepreneur teams to investigate if there are any differences in stress and job satisfaction between the two different types of team. The study was conducted in collaboration with SCA Skog. The material for this study was collected by doing interviews with SCA's harvesting teams. A total of 27 forest machine operators were interviewed, divided into a total of 10 separate harvesting teams. It was very similar between the different type of teams, which situations the operators experienced stress.

Bakgrund och problem: I och med finanskriserna har intresset ökat för företagens utlämning av upplysningar kring risker och osäkerhetsfaktorer. Variationen av mängden av risker samt utförligheten i hur dessa beskrivs kan skiljas mycket åt, då de företag som följer ÅRL vid sidan av IFRS måste redovisa sina väsentliga risker och osäkerhetsfaktorer. Företag, som enbart följer IFRS, har inte detta krav och har därmed möjlighet att inte redovisa vissa risker.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att få en inblick i hur företagen upplyser om sina risker och osäkerhetsfaktorer och vilka och hur många risker och osäkerheter som man upplyser om. Detta för att få en bredare syn på vad företagen anser att dessa termer betyder, vad som ingår i dem och hur företag generellt kommunicerar ut sin riskrapportering.Avgränsningar: I denna studie analysera företag noterade på Stockholmsbörsens Large, Mid och Small Cap-listor, som har publicerat en årsredovisning för 2009 samt halvårsrapporter från 2010.Metod: Genom en kvantitativ innehållsanalys undersöktes 122 börsnoterade företags årsredovisningar och halvårsrapporter från 2009 ? 2010.

Smålands Entreprenörs Akademi, SEA : En studie i vision, fantasi och kreativitet

The aim of the study was to show whether or not there exists, and if so, to understand, a common creativity, vision and imagination of the members of Småland?s Entrepreneurial Academy?s organisation.The method used for this research is the fictive narrative collage , which consists of the collection of fictive stories. The author has also made her own additions to the method. A composer composes songs to the narratives, two artists illustrate the narratives. The research is carried out on the total population within Småland?s Entrepreneurial Academy which consists of 10 permanent members of the organisation.The theory focuses on different areas, such as creativity, vision and imagination as well as on the Entrepreneur and the organisation.

From elevator pitch to organizational vision - How does the personal idea become an outspoken organizational vision?

The purpose of this dissertation is to create an understanding of how a personal idea in the mind of an Entrepreneur becomes an outspoken vision in one biotech company. More specifically, for what purpose the vision is used at different stages, how it is communicated, its content and what impact previous visions have on future vision work and in order to reach a deeper understanding of how vision develops over time and how it is used we have employed a qualitative approach based on a case study. The theoretical framework starts with the concept of vision and related concepts. Furthermore, the Entrepreneur?s and manager?s usage of vision is examined.

The efficiency of the harvesters work is more often reviewed, than the work of the forwarders. In a local Stora Enso office the differences between the harvesters reported volume of timber, and the actual volume delivered to the industry had been noticed. Therefore, the decision was made to do a review on the forwarders work. The review was conducted together with a worker from Vmf Qbera, who is working daily with wood measurement, in order to get a valid evaluation of the logs. Eight sites were included in the survey, and on each site 50 logs were marked. Approximately one third of the marked logs were pulpwood, and the remaining logs marked were timber.

Purpose This thesis tries to create an understanding of how male homosexual Entrepreneurs, both as persons and as a concept, relates to the fact that Entrepreneurship, as well as the society as a whole, is heteronormative. Moreover, it examines by what methods the male homosexual Entrepreneurs cope with the seemingly paradox of a homosexual man who also is an Entrepreneur. Method The method has been qualitative from a social construction-point of view. We have made semi-structured interviews with nine male homosexual Entrepreneurs and structured the findings from the interviews with a computer programme and mind mapping techniques. We have compared the structured findings with theories, in an abducting manner, to find out an answer to the purpose of this thesis.

All small- and medium-sized family owned enterprises need to sooner or later undergo a change of ownership. When the elder generation is approaching their retirement they have to make a choice; either hand over the business to the younger generation or sell it to an outsider. The succession of the family owned business can create a life long dilemma for the Entrepreneur. From the view of taxation there are, according to current legislation, no reasons to plan the succession to the younger generation. If no preparation has been done, the optional law system concerning inheritance will divide the property left.

The aim of this paper is to investigate dominant beliefs and approaches to the "cultural Entrepreneur" both within a public context, and also among business owners within the cultural field. What happens when ideas and attitudes in the public sector towards culture driven businesses meets the perspective of individual cultural Entrepreneurs?This study is based on analysis of political documents about the cultural and creative industries (CCI) from the European union, national level and regional level. Interviews with six business owners in the field of culture and one representative of the Swedish region with the fictive name ?Alma? has been conducted.

The proportion of women Entrepreneurs in Sweden is, as in many countries, smaller than the proportion of men Entrepreneurs. Sweden has therefore created political measures with the ambition to increase women Entrepreneurship. However, knowledge about the determinants of women Entrepreneurship is needed in order to enable the promotion of it and, at the same time one can question the treatment of women Entrepreneurs as a homogenous group. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the determinants of women Entrepreneurship and whether these determinants fluctuate regionally. If this proves to be the case, a more spatial/individual approach should be used, when creating measures to promote Entrepreneurship.
