Internal working models of attachment are claimed to be unconscious structures operating outside the conscious awareness. Existing measures of attachment are almost exclusively explicit, either self-reports or interviews and it is questionable whether these instruments are able to tap into unconscious attachment attitudes. The main purpose of the present study is to develop Implicit Association Test (IAT) tools for assessing adult attachment and to examine their construct validity. Two sets of implicit attachment measures, based on the two-dimensional attachment model (Bartholomew & Horowitz, 1991), were developed. Convergent validity was assessed by examining (1) the relationship between implicit model of self and implicit self-esteem and (2) the relationship between the implicit model of other and implicit sociability.

Med denna C-uppsats vill vi belysa bloggens betydelse för den unga bloggläsaren i Halmstad och Laholmskommun.  Genom tre teman som är konsumtion, livsstil och intrycksstyrning vill vi få en ökad förståelse för bloggens betydelse för den unga kvinnans självkänsla med fokus på bloggläsaren och bloggerskan.   Metodtriangulering var grunden för vår metodologiska utgångspunkt. Vi har tittat på skriftliga källor, tidigare forskning och tre bloggare som vi sedan intervjuat. Samt en enkätundersökning som utfördes bland elever på olika gymnasieskolor i Halmstad och Laholm, vi lämnade ut totalt 105 enkäter. För att ge undersökningen en bättre bild av hur läsaren upplever bloggen intervjuade vi även tre bloggläsare. Vi har kommit fram till att bloggen har stor betydelse för den unga kvinnans självkänsla och vi belyser detta ur en bredare kulturell synvinkel. .

In East Africa live two species of Griffon Vultures; Rüppel?s Griffon Vulture (Gyps rueppellii) and African White-backed Griffon Vulture (G. africanus). One of the apparently most important factors limiting the population of these birds is food supply. Griffon vultures nest for eight months of the year, and are during this period geographically tied down to the nesting place.

Investigations concerning adolescent mental health shows a negative development. Many pre-vious studies have focused on young women's mental health. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate young men's (17-19 years) experience of their mental health. Qualitative interviews were used as a method. The participants were six young men who all go to high school in a major municipality in the county of Gävleborg.

Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to illuminate and analyze what girls with ADHD say they experienced during their school time. The study will also answer the questions of issues; how did the girls say they were treated by their teachers and classmates and which pedagogical experiences can we learn from their statements?Method: In order to investigate this, six semi structured interviews were carried out. I decided not to interview girls in their school age, but women with ADHD who has already graduated, since I believe it can be very sensitive for young girls to talk about the subject and they are not able to give the overall perspective on their school time that I was looking for.Result: The results of the interviews shows that all of the women felt misunderstood during their childhood and they all had bad experiences from school.Conclusion: One of the conclusions of this study is that there are not sufficiently knowledge about girls with ADHD and many of them are not diagnosed until they are grown up which leads to that the girls does not get the support they need in school..

Inledning: Studien är en explorativ kvalitativ undersökning av psykoterapeuters upplevelser i terapier med ungdomar med narcissistisk problematik. Fem psykoterapeuter deltog i kvalitativa intervjuer. Intervjumaterialet bearbetades utifrån en tematisk analys. Genom ett relationellt terapeutiskt arbete går det att få en "genuin" kontakt och bygga allians, men att det också är osäkert och inte en självklarhet. I resultatet framkommer att det krävs tålamod, uthållighet, lång klinisk erfarenhet, goda teoretiska kunskaper samt professionell handledning.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine reading groups inpublic libraries from a bibliotherapeutic perspective. Inorder to reach this purpose following questions needed to beanswered: What does the discussion in reading groups looklike? What does the reading groups fulfill for theirparticipants? What is the circle leaders? role? The study isbased on the observations of three reading groups and offive interviews of its participants. With the help of CarolineShrodes theory the study shows that there are few signs ofbibliotherapy in the reading groups. But on the other handthey show similarities with other bibliotherapeutic readinggroups, by being a social venue for its participants.

 Syftet med studien är att undersöka några elevers uppfattning av sin studiegång på det individuella programmet (IV). Samt belysa i vilken utsträckning utbildningen individanpassas. En kvalitativ forskningsmetod användes. Sju elever intervjuades som går sitt första år på det individuella programmet. Undersökningen belyser hur eleverna trivs på IV och vad de tycker om sin utbildning.

This essay is about the sexual- education at special schools for young people in the ages thirteen through sixteen with the diagnosis autism. The study aims to identify, describe and understand the teachers? experiences in how the education is practiced in their daily work with these children. The way of procedure we have used in the study is qualitative interviews with teachers at special schools. The result show that how the teachers practice the education depends on how the student group is constructed and the students? qualifications.

Ortorexia Nervosa (ON) är ett sällsynt förekommande ämne inom dagens forskning. ON behandlar en besatthet av en viss typ av livsmedel som senare leder till social isolering. Studien genomfördes med syfte att undersöka om ON förekommer bland gymnasieelever, om bassjälvkänsla och förvärvad självkänsla, vetskap om sitt eget BMI samt kön är kopplat till fenomenet. Undersökningen genomfördes med enkäter som mätte graden av ON samt självkänsla. Åttiofem gymnasieelever svarade på enkäterna.

This report will outline a proposal for the improvement of the baggage sorting facility at Arlanda airport. Swedavia is a state owned company group that operates, owns and develops airports in Sweden. One of their main roles is to create accessibility needed to facilitate and streamline the work at the airport.Swedavia is constantly working to develop new solutions and enhancements that will help to standardize and automate the work at airports without major impact on climate and above all adapt these solutions to work.The project has been aimed to identify and isolate the problem at the check-in counter, investigate the possibility of setting a speed control on the DC motor driving the luggage conveyer belt at the check-in desk so that the luggage does not lose tracking already there, as well as evaluate the new sorting systems planned to be introduce in the upcoming refurbishment of the sorting area.To determine the parameters that are used to regulate the speed of the baggage conveyor belt, information about the inputs and outputs that participated in the process was gathered. Information was collected both practically and theoretically. Process was followed and monitored by the supervisor of the company, and a theoretical study was done separately on my own.

Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancer diseases among women worldwide. Breast cancer brings fear into many womens? life. It is a threat against life, but also to the psychological health, self-esteem and the female identity. Aim: The aim of this literature review was to describe newly breast cancer patient?s perception of information provided by healthcare personnel.

Fluoroskopi är benämningen på kontinuerlig röntgengenomlysning av en patient. Eftersom patienten och även läkaren då utsätts för kontinuerlig röntgenstrålning måste strålningsdosen hållas låg, vilket leder till brusiga bilder. Det är därför önskvärt att genom bildbehandling förbättra bilderna. Bildförbättringen måste dock ske i realtid och därför kan inte konventionella metoder användas.Detta examensarbete avser att undersöka hur ortogonala s k. derivataoperatorer kan användas för att förbättra läsbarheten av fluoroskopibilder med hjälp av brusundertryckning och kantförstärkning.

The aim of this study was to examine how "Professional Exes", individuals that have exited a drug abuse and a criminal career and further are educated to work in the addiction field, transformed their identity and which factors that were significant in the process. The result of this study are based on semi-structured interviews with five Professional Exes and shows which specific factors in the process that contributed to the transformation and what kind of difficulties and barriers that existed during the process. The study suggests that, among other things, identification with others exes and the 12 Step Program are significant factors in the process. Furthermore, the study suggests that a difficulty in the transformation is that residues from the previous identity such as a poor self-esteem occurred in some situations..

Tidigare forskning har påvisat att självkänslan är möjlig att tillfälligt förändra. Detta har undersökts genom experimentella studier där manipulationer av olika slag har genomförts. Manipulationerna har bestått av indirekta undersökningar om prestation och andra direkta undersökningar om individernas självuppfattning.Studien undersökte om direkt och indirekt manipulation påverkade självkänslan i två experiment. I Experiment 1 användes kunskapstest i geografi och i Experiment 2 skulle deltagarna avgöra om positiva eller negativa egenskaper passade dem. Resultatet visade att varken geografikunskaper eller egenskaper påverkade självkänslan.
