Byggnadsutformningens inverkan på energianalysen : En jämförande utvärdering av två energisimuleringsprogram

Since the demands from authorities regarding lower energy consumption havebecome increasingly strict, this puts new pressure on designers and builders, who notonly have to ensure an esthetically pleasing building, but also make sure it issufficiently efficient to pass under new laws and regulations.This thesis takes into consideration a wide range of various parameters and theireffect on a building?s energy consumption. For this evaluation a computer softwarecomparison between the two programs Autodesk Ecotect Analysis and AutodeskProject Vasari was performed.Autodesk Ecotect Analysis is better suited for studies made on individual factors whileAutodesk Project Vasari is better used in experiments regarding the geometricalshape of the stucture itself.The results from the two different software tools used, give us both differences andsimilarities. For instance, both software programs produced the same resultsregarding the importance of the windows of the buildings to ensure a highly energyefficient building, both when it comes to the windows size and their U-value..

Prestandabaserad design genomkonceptuell energianalys : Performance-based design through conceptual energy analysis

This degree project aims to investigate the potential and possibilities for conceptual energyanalyses in the early stages of the design process. Many key decisions are made in theearly stages of a project regarding the shape and orientation of the building. Conceptualenergy analyses can provide the architects with insight regarding different design option?srelative energy performance.As the demands for more sustainable buildings increases, so does the need for earlyenergy analyses. Energianalys av MVG-gallerian, samt en jämförelse av beräkningsprogram

På uppdrag av Sweco Systems i Umeå har detta examensarbete utförts under våren 2013. Syftet var att undersöka huruvida något av de energiberäknings-program som används på företaget kan anses vara lämpligt vid energikartläggningar av befintliga fastigheter.Inledningsvis utfördes en energikartläggning av fastigheten Odin 12 i Umeå, som i huvudsak utgörs av gallerian MVG. Med resultaten från denna energikartläggning som grund beräknades därefter fastighetens energianvändning i två olika program ? VIP-Energy och IDA Indoor Climate and Energy.Resultaten från den inledande kartläggningen visar att fastigheten har ett lågt behov av fjärrvärme, vilket förklaras av fastighetens höga elförbrukning. Den stora användningen av el genererar stora mängder internvärme som, förutom att sänka fjärrvärmebehovet, även medför att fastigheten under hela året har ett kylbehov.Utvärderingen av de två beräkningsprogrammen visar att VIP-Energy är ett lämpligt program att använda vid energikartläggningar.

Energianalys av tryckluftsystem : så kan Billerud Skärblacka AB spara energi på tryckluft

Compressed air is a low efficiency media, and is thus very expensive to produce. This thesis work began by mind mapping how to create savings on the compressed air system at Billerud Skärblacka AB. Certain issues have been chosen for further studies.In order to identify the consumption of compressed air at PM 8 and 9, several measurements were made. At PM 8 there were not found any pressure drop, only large pressure variations for short periods of time. The causes of these pressure variations were not established.

The human is also affected by the air change and temperature, these factors are in most buildings possible to adjust and through this make economic savings. To find out about the indoor environment in the O-building a questionnaire was handed out, measurements/surveys and an interview was also made. 108 questionnaires where handed out to employees and students.

HÅLLBART BYGGANDEMED HJÄLP AV BIM : Effektiva energianalyser och LCC

The society strives for sustainable development, in the construction industry it is expressed through sustainable building. Energy and LCC analyzes increases the ability to make conscious decisions in the process. A problem in the construction industry is that energy and LCC analysis is not used to the desired extent, as they are perceived as complicated and time consuming. The report aims to achieve a more sustainable building through increased use of energy and LCC analyzes.The goal is to show how BIM can be used to improve the efficiency of the energy and LCC analyzes.The study was conducted with a literature review and a case study to answer which information that is required in a BIM model to perform energy and LCC analyzes. The study also shows which software can be used in BIM based energy and LCC analyzes and how the analyzes can be carried out efficiently.The result shows that effective analyzes may be performed if the BIM-model contains the relevant information for making analyzes.

The purpose of this thesis was to make an energy survey and quantify energy flows of individual unit operations associated with the biogas production in Uppsala Vatten och Avfall AB:s biogas plant, located at Kungsängens gård. Moreover, large consumers of energy would be identified and analyzed. The objective of this energy survey was to obtain a detailed understanding of the energy use in the biogas production. The energy survey was divided into two parts: electricity and heat. Each part was treated separately and with somewhat different approach. To estimate the electricity usage during the projcet the rated power of each selected unit operation was noted and multplied with the measured time of usage.

Energikartläggning av ett 1970-tals lägenhetshus på Skarpövägen i Nacka kommun : Simulering av energibesparande åtgärder i ?IDA Indoor Climate and Energy?

This study has been carried out in the spring of 2014 on behalf of PQR Consult AB in Stockholm. The aim of the study has been to analyse the energy usage of the building Skarpövägen 1 in order to explore the possibilites of saving energy by using appropriate equipment. These possible solutions have been simulated by using the programe IDA Indoor Climate and Energy, combined with a life cycle cost analysis. The laundry building, Skarövägen 23, has also been analysed due to its high amount of energy usage. The result of the energy analysis showed that the energy usage was much higher than the energy declaration.

Energianalys av Romar fastigheter med metodutveckling för ökade incitament för   energieffektivisering hos hyresgäster

Examensarbetets uppgift är att arbeta fram ett exempel på incitament för att motivera hyresgäster att vara med och investera i energieffektiviseringar. Arbetet innefattar en energikartläggning av en fastighet för att kunna visa vilka besparingar som kan göras och vilka investeringskostnader det innebär. Den aktuella fastigheten har alla energikostnader inbakad i hyran vilket leder till att hyresgästerna inte har incitament till medinvestering. Energikartläggningen innebar en nattvandring för att se vad som använde energi under natten när verksamheterna stod still, insamlande av timdatafrån Umeå Energi, inventering av belysning samt anskaffande av information om ventilation och kompressor. Kontakt med olika företag togs för att kunna få fram ungefärliga kostnader för effektiviseringarna.

Energisparläge i automationsindustrin : Potential för att minska tomgångsförluster med industriella styrsystem

Former studies have shown that a considerable part of industries? energy usage can stem from idle times in the production. This thesis, carried out at Siemens Industry sector, evaluates the potential for using the control system to automatically put machines into energy saving mode during idle times. The main part of the thesis consists of a case study performed on machine tools at a Scania production site in Södertälje. Through load measurements the potential for energy savings was determined.The results show that there is a great potential for energy savings during idle times at the site.

Energianalys av Svensk Växtkrafts biogasanläggning i Västerås

Svensk Växtkraft is the owner of the biogas plant in Västerås. The company is planning to increase their treatment capacity at their biogas plant. In connection to this work it is also possible to make some energy saving changes to the biogas plant. The objective of this study was therefore to make an electricity and heat survey of the biogas plant, a detailed study of the heat consumption in the sanitation step and also a comparison of energy consumption with the present sanitation method and an alternative strategy where the waste is treated in 55 °C during 10 hours (the current method is heating to 70 °C during 1 hour). The energy survey was conducted in close collaboration with staff at the biogas plant. The current during normal operation was measured, power was calculated and multiplied by the time of usage to obtain the energy consumed.

Elanvändningen till ventilation har ökat med 40 % sedan 1990 i Sverige. Ventilationen är en miljöbov enligt undersökningar som visar att elanvändningen till ventilationssystemens fläktar kan reduceras. Minskning av elförbrukningen kan t.ex. uppnås genom utbyte av fläktmotor till en EC-motor eller till en fläkt med bakåtböjda skovlar och direktdrift. Effektivieringsåtgärder kan ge en lägre elförbrukning på upptill 50 % i vissa applikationer.Ventilationsfläktarna i Sverige förbrukar 12,3 TWh per år.
