A common form of communication within Facebook is the communication between users via status updates. If you write a status update all your friends have the opportunity to read and to respond to the update. The overall issue of this survey is: how are Facebook users to commu- nicate with status updates?  The survey aims to gain insight and greater understanding of communication patterns and user awareness of social contexts when they write status  updates. The study will act as an attempt to understand a small part of a complex interaction taking place in a social situation.

BakgrundForskning belyser hur barn påverkas av olika faktorer då det handlar om deras materiella status. De faktorer som har stor betydelse för barn är bland annat; vänner, massmedia, föräldrar, pedagoger, reklam och den rådande norm som finns i samhället. Alla dessa delar har en central och avgörande roll för barns lärande, önskningar och de val de gör för att eftersträva status.SyfteSyftet med studien är att undersöka hur pedagoger i förskolan och föräldrar till barn i förskolan uppfattar barns materiella status, i form av kläder och leksaker. Vi är även intresserade av att undersöka om den materiella statusen kan påverka barns inkludering eller exkludering.Frågeställningar? Hur upplever pedagoger och föräldrar att barn eftersträvar status?? Vilken uppfattning har pedagoger och föräldrar kring barns intresse för kläder och leksaker?? På vilket sätt påverkar kläder och leksaker barns status i barngruppen?? Vilka faktorer påverkar barn att vilja ha materiell status?3MetodStudien är baserad på en kvalitativ metod där intervju använts som redskap, varav vi intervjuat åtta pedagoger samt åtta föräldrar.ResultatVårt resultat visade att föräldrar och pedagoger har en gemensam uppfattning om vad som var statushöjande och populärt bland barnen.

The employment structure consists of different sectors, whose share of the total employment rate is all part of an economic structural conversion according to this thesis applied theoretical approach. A structural conversion, which consist of recurring crises, such as the financial crises in the early 1990s. This crisis and its effect on the Swedish economy is well-documented, while the shortage regarding the effect on a smaller scale, in a local and regional context, provides this thesis purpose. More specifically, a comparison between the two neighbouring towns of Malm? and Lund, will constitute the local contexts in this research.

This study aims to determine whether pupils, students and teachers at various music schools feel that there is a difference in status between different music styles/genres, and if this has an impact on the individual level. The survey was conducted with a digital survey that was e-mailed to junior/high schools with music profile in the Stockholm area and to all the teachers and students at the Royal College of music in Stockholm (KMH). Due to low participation by students and teachers from the junior/high schools the students and teachers of KMH became the main object of the study. The results shows that a majority of the main group of this study feels that there is a difference in status between different music styles/genres. The study also shows that half of the participants believe that the difference in status affects them on an individual level.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyse the cooperation between the public employment service and the refugee reception in a medium-sized municipality in southern Sweden on basis of the establishment reform. The study examines how the collaborative process is regarded when it comes to implementation of the reform, and when it comes to the directives and resource allocation between the employment services and the refugee reception. The study also focuses on the deficiencies and the benefits that can be discerned with the establishment reform at local level.A qualitative data collection method has been used. It is semi-structured interviews with workers from the public employment service and the refugee reception. Information materials and evaluations that various authorities have made have also been investigated.The study concludes that it is important that the directives are clarified and that a new local and regional agreement will be established on paper.

Uppsatsen syftar till att belysa och problematisera synen på skolämnet Idrott och hälsa i relation till ämnets status idag och i framtiden. Vi vill därmed undersöka hur lärarutbildare resonerar om ämnet Idrott och hälsas status samt hur lärarutbildare anser att ämnet kan förstärkas i framtiden. Uppsatsen bygger på enkätstudie där vi vänder oss till lärarutbildare i Idrott och hälsa på två utbildningsorter.För att läsaren ska få en förståelse för området ger vi en teoretisk bakgrund. Där behandlas varför Idrott och hälsa inte prioriteras, ett historiskt perspektiv, legitimeringar, motsättningen mellan teoretiska och praktiska kunskaper, förändringar i läroplanen och lärar- och ämnesstatus.Resultatet av denna studie visar majoriteten av lärarutbildarna tycker att ämnet Idrott och hälsas status är oförändrad sedan införandet av Lpo 94. De anser heller inte att daglig fysisk aktivitet eller kunskapsformerna har påverkat ämnets status.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka lärarstudenters och yrkesverksamma lärares uppfattning om läraryrkets status samt att undersöka en eventuell legitimations inverkan på läraryrkets status. De övergripande frågorna behandlar hur lärarstudenter och yrkesverksamma lärare uppfattar läraryrkets nuvarande status samt vad ett införande av lärarlegitimation skulle kunna ha för inverkan på yrkets status. Vidare frågas om en lärarlegitimation kan professionalisera läraryrket. I bakgrundskapitlet presenteras för studien viktiga begrepp utifrån olika teoretiska perspektiv. Begreppen profession, status och professionalisering definieras och innebörden av ett legitimationssystem för lärare presenteras. Det empiriska underlaget för studien samlades in med hjälp av en enkät riktad till lärarstudenter på sitt sista studieår samt redan yrkesverksamma lärare från tre geografiska områden. Resultatet visar att lärarstudenter och yrkesverksamma lärare uppfattar läraryrkets status vara mellan låg och medelhög.

The Employment Protection Act (1982:80) provides provisions regarding priority of re-employment. A few cases where these provisions have been subject to examination, have been discussed thoroughly in SOU 2014:55. In these cases the Labour Court has identified the question whether the provisions regarding priority of re-employment can be subject to circumvention in an illegal manner. The Labour Court has stated that it would be incompatible with the sense of justice if the provisions could be circumvented to the detriment of employees entitled to priority of re-employment. However, the Labour Court stated that certain conditions have to be imposed for the assessment.After analysis of the conditions, it is established that they are deemed to cause major difficulties for employees, why it is held that the purpose and the function of the conditions are not achieved. The purpose of the essay is therefore to investigate whether the application of the conditions imposed by the Labour Court, need to undergo modifications to meet the underlying purpose of the creation of the conditions.By reason of the difficulty with the conditions, the essay provides three different amendments in which two of the amendments are ascertained to not contribute to such an improvement that they should actually be applied.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to study how DIK (Documentation, Information and Culture), the major trade union for Swedish librarians, work with the status and professionalization of the occupation. The status is, as we see it, low and depending on several factors. They are among others: the knowledge base, how extended the research base is and the domination of women within the profession. These factors all work together to maintain the status and the prestige of the occupation at a low level. With the help and work of the trade union DIK the status can improve if the focus is right.

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the issue of preferential rights in relation to the increased practice of hiring temporary staff. The object is illuminated from a diversity perspective by seeing what a circumvention of the preferential rights may have consequences for vulnerable groups on the Swedish labor market. The question of preferential rights to reinstatement is controlled in  The Employment Protection Act. The preferential right is for the protection of workers made redundant due to redundancy. The use of agency workers has increased significantly in the Swedish labor market since the industry's legalization in 1993. This has created some problems in terms of preferential rights. To a circumvention of the law, shall exist requires that the measures constitute circumvention is justified, measures should have been sought to circumvent the law and been unfair in view of the particular case.

Syftet med undersökningen är att genomföra en jämförande klass- och genusanalys av två stycken situationskomedier: Two and a Half Men och The new Adventures of Old Christine.Vi undersöker vad som genererar status i de två serierna och om detta skiljer sig något serierna emellan. Vi kommer bland annat fram till att egenskaper som ett lyckat äktenskap och god ekonomi är statusbringande medan ett misslyckat äktenskap istället lätt genererar låg status..

Syfte med denna studie är att beskriva hur akademiker med invandrarbakgrund från Mellanöstern upplever sina möjligheter till en etablering på den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Vi vill utifrån deras berättelser se hur de upplever och hanterar sin status i Sverige, men också i ursprungslandet, det vill säga de länder personen vuxit upp i. Vi vill även se vilka konsekvenser denna etablering och statusförändring leder till för ett begränsat urval akademiker med invandrarbakgrund.Frågeställningar:- Hur beskriver invandrande akademiker sin status i Sverige och i ursprungslandet?- Hur hanterar de sin status i de olika länderna och eventuellt skillnaden där emellan?- Hur upplever invandrade akademiker sin etablering på den svenska arbetsmarknaden?.

This study was the foundation for an evaluation of an employment project in Sweden. The project offers occupations in carpentry as well as kitchen work for people with psychiatric disorders, substance abuse and other social difficulties. This studies purpose was to analyze the projects significance to its participants and also to distinguish weather the project influences the participant?s life in a professional or private way. The methodological tool was five qualitative interviews with the participants and three qualitative interviews with the employees.

The main purpose of this Masters thesis is to examine gender division in public libraries by reviewing literature and interviewing eight public librarians and two chief librarians. The reason why we decided to investigate this topic is the lack of research concerning sex-segregation in library and information science. By choosing this subject we intend to deepen the understanding of the significance of gender both within the public library and of the occupation in general. Some researchers claim that the low status of librarianship is a result of the large proportion of women in the profession. We want to find out how our informants view the relation between professional status and female domination.
