The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the parent training The Incredible Years in clinical settings. The study included 33 families in clinical practice. There were two parts to the study; a main part with a before and after measurement, and a follow-up study on 12 children one year later. On baseline the children (3-9 years) as a group were on the borderline clinical range, (M = 61.8), with 70 % of the children in the borderline or clinical range. The childrens emotional and behavioral problems were measured with Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL).

The capricious roman goddess Fortune is known for her strong power to influence or even decide the destiny of humans. In ancient Rome she was considered to be a good goddess, who brought the gifts of destiny and who also was seen as a possible ally. During the Middle Ages this position changed. Fortune was given two sides, a good and friendly one and a cruel impenetrable side. She was seen as one of God´s ministers and became an expression of divine providence.My purpose with this essay is to analyse three artworks of Fortune by Giovanni Bellini, Albrecht Dürer and Master MZ, but also some texts by the renaissance humanist Niccolò Machiavelli.

I denna studie har vi undersökt tre förskollärares uppfattning av förändringar i detsocioemotionella samspelet efter ett målinriktat arbete med EQ-aktiviteter på förskolan.Vi har i studien särskilt inriktat oss på följande aspekter av barnens socioemotionellaintelligens och kompetens; empati, prosociala färdigheter, relationsfärdigheter,kommunikationsfärdigheter, samarbetsfärdigheter, problemlösningsfärdigheter, självhävdelseoch självkontroll. De teoretiska begrepp som analyseras i studien är sociokulturellteori, Honneths erkännandeteori, socioemotionell intelligens och kompetens,prosocialt beteende, och socialt samspel. Datainsamlingsmetoden är kvalitativ ochbestår av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Resultatet visar att de intervjuade förskollärarnaanser att arbetet med EQ-aktiviteter på förskolan har förändrat det sociala klimatet ibarngruppen i en positiv riktning samt att barnens socioemotionella intelligens ochförmåga har utvecklats. Denna utveckling visar sig främst genom att barnen i högreutsträckning än tidigare visar benägenhet att agera på ett mer genomtänkt ochprosocialt sätt gentemot varandra i olika sociala sammanhang.

Det finns ett stort och konstant behov av sjuksköterskor inom internationellt biståndsarbete. Vad en sjuksköterska gör vid uppdrag skiljer sig från det svenska omvårdnadsarbetet. Arbetet innebär mycket glädje av att göra gott men samtidigt många tragiska upplevelser. Den här studien var empiriskt förankrad med syfte att beskriva sjuksköterskors emotionella upplevelser vid internationellt biståndsarbete för Läkare Utan Gränser. Det empiriska materialet bestod av bloggar, reseberättelser och intervjuer som analyserades och presenterades under kategorierna före, under och efter uppdrag.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera på vilket sätt modeföretag genom sitt CSR-arbete kan stärka sitt konsumentbaserade varumärkeskapital. Metod: Vi har utgått från en deduktiv ansats och genomfört en kvantitativ enkätundersökning i syfte att ta reda på konsumenternas åsikter om modeföretagens CSR-arbete. Vi har även genomfört semi-strukturerade intervjuer för att få förståelse för Weekdays CSR-arbete. Teoretiskt perspektiv: Uppsatsens teoretiska referensram behandlar huvudsakligen konsumentbaserat varumärkeskapital och teorier kring CSR. Empiri: Undersökningen är riktad mot modebranschen med Weekday som fallföretag.

The debate surrounding the opinion polls of the political party Sverigedemokraterna, and later their results in the Swedish election has been evident. The purpose of the study is to investigate how norms of equal treatment in social work practice might be influenced by Sverigedemokraterna's understanding of culture, ethnicity, nationality and religion. The thesis is outlined through the works of Teun van Dijk and Ruth Wodak (2000) regarding racist discourse in politics, Giorel Curran (2004) explaining lesser established parties influence on the broader discourses and Anders Hellström and Tom Nilsson (2010) attempting to ideologically position Sverigedemokraterna. With the method for analyzing policy documents designed by Carol Bacchi (2009) the latest motions from Sverigedemokraterna has been analyzed. Bacchi?s theoretical framework, together with theory concerning the expression of modern racism of John Hodge (1999), Paul Gilroy (1999) and Bennedict Anderson (1996) amongst others has been used to create an understanding of the material.

The focus of this study is on the nature of social support from the rape survivor's perspective. Research has shown that social support is essential to the survivor's ability to recover from rape and that it acts as a powerful tool for the survivor to effectively deal with the PTSD symptoms that follow rape. The research also shows that survivors often receive or interpret reactions after a rape as negative. Hence, these reactions can be detrimental tothe healing process.Qualitative interviews with six women on their experience of social support after rape form the base of this study and Anthony Giddens terms ontological security, fateful moments and bodily self-management are a part of the analytical apparatus. Rape is commonly analyzed from a feminist perspective.

In tune with the cross-border trade the infringement of intellectual property rights has become a growing problem in Europe and the rest of the world. In June 2008 negotiations about a new international agreement was initiated between Europe, its member states and ten other countries, which will restrict infringements of intellectual property rights. The agreement is called ACTA, which stands for Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. On January 26, 2012 the European Union (EU) and twenty-two of its twenty-seven member states signed a letter of intent to the agreement and the EU?s internal processes of the agreement began.

Caring for children at hospital with palliative care needs arouses different reactions in nurses and depends on what prior knowledge and experience nurses have. To besides shift focus from to care children palliative to care curative is further a strain and an emotional changeover. The aim of this study was to illuminate nurse?sperceptions about caring for children at hospital with palliative care needs, and how they shift focus of care between children with palliative care needs and children with curative care needs. The study has a qualitative approach and data were collected with interviews from two focus groups.

This study examines whether it would be profitable for travel distributors in the charter to expand its offerings to other travel related products, and also the products that are in demand. We are also studying the role that brand has for customers' choice of travel.According to Hellman, e-commerce is to be preferred since it is competitive because it gives the travel distributors the opportunity to lower down prices. Respondents are divided into two groups where the first group consists of people who have booked their trip in stores, and the other via the Internet.

Studiens syfte är att beskriva hur lärare i undervisningssammanhang arbetar med konstnärliga uttryck. Mitt mål med detta har varit att få ökad förståelse för hur läraren kan uppmuntra elever till att ta eget ansvar över sitt musicerande för att på så sätt se till att fler elever fortsätter spela även efter att de gått ur musikskolan. Jag har tagit del av vad två framstående flöjtister anser om ämnet, vad styrdokumenten (GY 11) lägger vikt vid samt vad av mig utvalda instrumentalpedagoger har kommit fram till angående ämnet. Jag har valt att använda mig av ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv i min studie eftersom jag vill göra en djupare analys och tolkning av den intervjuades livsvärld. Jag använde mig av så kallad halvstrukturerad intervju vilken liknar ett vardagssamtal, men har syftet att ta reda på någonting. I mitt fall ta reda på vad flöjtlärare anser att det innebär att spela med ett personligt uttryck och även vilka metoder de använder i undervisningssituationen för hjälpa sina elever att nå det personliga i musiken.

Syftet med denna studie är att skapa förståelse för förhållandet mellan skolkuratorns person och yrkesroll samt hur känslor som uppkommer i elevsamtal hanteras. Utöver det undersöks också de konsekvenser för välbefinnande som kan följa av känslohantering, för såväl kurator som elev. Detta undersöks genom åtta kvalitativa intervjuer med skolkuratorer där deras beskrivningar av kuratorsyrket står i fokus. Intervjuerna utgör en systematiserad empiri som tolkas för att tillsammans med utvalda teorier besvara studiens frågeställning. De teorier som huvudsakligen används för att förstå empirin är teorierna om emotionellt arbete och social responsivitet.

Investors have been shown to be driven by emotional and psychological factors. This contradicts classical financial theories, for example the Efficient Market hypothesis which states that all investors act rationally. Behavioural Finance is an area of study which describes various psychological factors which may result in irrational investor behaviour.The primary question of the study is: which factors do operating people in the financial sector consider themselves to be influenced by? The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors which affect the process of creating forecasts or making financial decisions. The study examines in addition if there is a correlation between length of investor experience and overconfidence in forecasting accuracy and investment decision making.The study includes both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
