Projektorganiseringen som drivkraft och hinder för industriell förnyelse i byggindustrin : en fallstudie av Skandionkliniken

Understanding how innovation and renewal occurs in an industry is important for how to manage technical development for individual companies. It is also important for creating a beneficial industrial context for renewal, from both a political and an industrial perspective, in which new solutions can arise and spread through the involvement of several actors of the industry. How innovation and renewal occurs in the construction industry in Sweden is however viewed differently. One challenge that has been pointed to is that most of the work performed in the construction industry is organized in projects, which in turn should affect how innovation and renewal can be achieved. The aim of this thesis is to provide an understanding of how the project organizing in the industry affects innovation and renewal. This is executed through a case study of the construction of Skandionkliniken, a proton therapy clinic, and by using an industrial network theory that challenges the traditional view of how innovation is achieved.

Lean leadership : the Toyota way in agricultural firms

Swedish agricultural businesses are facing challenges in order to achieve long-term profitability. The opportunity to improve profitability and efficiency on farm level may be enhanced by management. One way to work with leadership is to use Lean. It is a management system that aims to improve competitiveness. Currently, there is a project where Lean is implemented into 100 agricultural firms.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of the recruitment process and its complexity. The study also aims to examine whether there are any problem areas with a recruitment process which is emotionally based and if so, how these can be resolved. Four issues have been presented, in regard to solving the study?s purpose and problem definition.Theoretical framework: The chapter begins by briefly illustrate the concept of employee turnover and the economic aspects a staff turnover can bring. Thereafter, the importance of a formal preparatory work for recruitment is presented.

Löpträning och välbefinnande

Syfte och frågeställningarSyfte med denna studie var att undersöka löpträningens effekter på välbefinnandet med hjälp av Emotional Recovery Questionnaire (EmRecQ).- Hur påverkar löpträning välbefinnandet?- Hur påverkar styrketräning välbefinnandet i jämförelse med löpträning?- Hur påverkar tv-tittande välbefinnandet i jämförelse med löpträning?MetodFör att besvara frågeställningarna användes en kvantitativ metod av experimentell karaktär. Deltagare till studien rekryterades på två träningsanläggningar och 36 vuxna deltagare utförde tre aktiviteter: löpträning, styrketräning och tv-tittande under tre skilda tillfällen under olika dagar. Deltagarna fyllde i en enkät inom 30 minuter före och efter varje aktivitet. Enkäten innehöll skattningsskalan EmRecQ.

Är det värt det? : -En studie av medarbetarsamtalet ur den anställdes perspektiv genom intervjuer med anställda på ett privatägt vårdboende i Mellansverige.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att besvara frågan hur ett medarbetarsamtal upplevs av den anställde. Att ställa frågan ?är det värt det? innebär att se om den anställde upplever att medarbetarsamtalet är en givande kommunikationsform eller om den anställde känner det som ett otillfredsställande samtal.Uppgifterna och svaren är inhämtade genom individuella intervjuer genomförda med deltagare i ett arbetslag inom den privata vårdsektorn.Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och baseras på semistrukturerade intervjuer.Studien har visat att medarbetarsamtalet inte upplevs som tillfredställande när det gäller kommunikationen med och till överordnad. Det har framkommit att anställda föredrar kommunikation inom hela arbetsgruppen via öppnare samtal mellan samtliga anställda. Vad studien också visar är att de anställda upplever sin chef och kontakten med chefen på olika sätt beroende på situation och kontext.Vi har utgått ifrån teorier kring institutionaliserade samtal, emotionellt arbete och tvång samt sociala band för att behandla och analysera informanternas upplevelse av medarbetarsamtalet.Den anställdes emotionella arbete påverkas av rollen den anställda upplever som passande för yrket samt att relationen till chefen påverkas av status och ställning. .

What does the Swedish church Västerås stand for today according to the employees and how do they want to profile themselves to the target group? What image and what expectations does the target group have of the Swedish church Västerås? How can the Swedish church Västerås communicate uniform, with the intent to create mutual value with the target group?The purpose of the study is to make recommendations to the Swedish church Västerås for their prospective communication plan by examining their profile and target group's image and expectations of the organization. The study also aims to examine how the Swedish church Västerås can communicate their brand uniform.The study applies a qualitative research with deductive approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with a sample of the employees and focus groups with a sample of the target group.Better match between profile and image means that SkVs employees better understand the organization and can communicate more uniform which leads to a stronger brand identity. If SkV understands what is relevant for their target group, they can reduce the total cost of customer delivered value and thus increase the total value.

In order to analyse the texts and films on www.ams.se I have used tools from the modern rhetoric analysis. In the last part of my analysis I compared the results of the rhetoric analysis and the requests from the interviews to see if and how they match.Main Results: The respondents requested inspiration for their future work lives, and information that could de-dramatize the image of working. The texts on www.ams.seconsist mostly of facts, while the films made a slightly more emotional contribution to the image of the occupation. The films showing relaxed and satisfied people can be seen as a way to de-dramatize the image of working-life.

The patient gets dejected and the emotional devotion abates. Broken sleep, anxiety, pain, concentrations difficulties, fatigue and reduced appetite is some of the symptoms.

Upplevelsen av att vänta på en organtransplantation

Bakgrund: Få områden inom dagens medicin står inför så många och svåra etiska problem som transplantationskirurgin. De svårt sjuka människor som får möjligheten att genomgå en transplantation får chansen till ett nytt liv. Det är viktigt att sätta sig in i hur patienten upplever väntan för att som vårdpersonal kunna ge ett bra bemötande och en god omvårdnad. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att ur ett patientperspektiv beskriva den känslomässiga upplevelsen av att vänta på en organtransplantation.Metod: Litteraturstudien bygger på åtta kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultat: Att vänta på en organtransplantation beskrevs som smärtsamt samtidigt som det gav patienterna tid att förbereda sig.

In the city of Kungälv, there are many important green areas without park lightning. This makes it unsafe to walk through the city's most attractive surroundings during many parts of the year. Partly in general and partly specifically for Kungälv, this paper shows that there are strong long-term arguments for making parks available by the use of lightning. This is not about lightening up the whole city, but finding the important green communication paths and parks. This paper also reflects upon how to lighten up these green communication paths and parks for best result. That is a question about creating good sight conditions ? safe and attractive parks which attracts people to use them. Offering a city's inhabitants good and attractive alternatives to using the car is an important task for city planers.
