The study also includes if there is any difference between the framing due to the location of the newspaper. The study is based on qualitative text analysis. The theoretical basis is representation, framing theory, media image, media logic and a few conceptions from crisis communication theory.

Vilken uppfattning har operationssjuksköterskor om debriefing inom akutsjukvården?
ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to illustrate how surgical operation theatre nurses perceive debriefing within emergency health care. The study has a qualitative design with semi structured interviews that have been performed with seven operating room nurses working in emergency health care. The strategic selection consists of professional operation theatre nurses working in emergency care at Uppsala University Hospital. The main goal of this thesis is to increase the understanding of debriefing and to highlight the need of debriefing after difficult or unexpected events in the emergency health care profession.The interviewed nurses perceive debriefing as an important way to develop the day to day work, but also as a way to unburden the staff at the time of bigger traumas. Even though the effect of debriefing is not univocally positive in the literature, the staff perceives that it reduces different kinds of stress.

Background: Good communication is very important for the safety of patients in emergency situations. Few studies have been conducted regarding communication among health care staff. The aim of the present study was to investigate anesthetist nurses experience of communication among health care staff during a situation of emergency in a hospital ward.Methods: The study is explorative and based on interviews with six anesthetist nurses. A qualitative content analysis was used as an analyses model.Result: The six anesthetist nurses experienced structured communication as of great importance during an emergency situation. Three main categories appeared from the material: i) the importance of the organization ii) communication structure and communication patterns and iii) education and experience with nine subcategories.

Thou it´s mainly due to a patient perspective should also nurses' perspectives be significant to obtain a faceted perception of the phenomenon.Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe how nurses perceive the phenomenon of anticipation of a somatic emergency department.Method: The analysis was performed using a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in a medium-sized hospital in southern Sweden, during the latter part of 2005, and had a qualitative approach based on a lifeworld perspective. Data collection consisted of written stories from twelve nurses.Results: The results indicated that the waiting was the scene of the expectations. These expectations led to dilemmas, powerlessness and frustration, the more the phenomenon was allowed to stand.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe what nurses experienced in connection with waiting time related frustration among patients and relatives in the emergency department and also what strategies nurses use to manage waiting time related frustration.Background: The numbers of emergency department visits are increasing and lead to waiting times which can cause frustration among patients and relatives, a frustration that nurses encounter in their everyday work and need strategies to deal with.Methods: This is a descriptive qualitative study. Interviews are conducted with five nurses, transcribed and analyzed by qualitative content analysis.Findings: The nurses feel inadequate and powerless when they meet patients and relatives frustration. In order to deal with patients and relatives frustration, they use the strategy of participation, which implies to involve and meet patients and relatives needs for information and to be seen. In order to prevent themselves becoming frustrated they use adaptability, by creating an inner calm, not take it personally and to distance themselves from the frustration.Conclusion: The result highlights the importance of managing the activity to reduce waiting time related frustration, for example through reflection and working for reducing waiting times. Further research is also needed..

Syftet med den här C-uppsatsen är att skapa en användarmanual för ett system som används inom TeliaSonera. Bakgrunden till uppsatsen är att det saknas en bra och enkel dokumentation till systemet.Användarmanualen får sin utformning genom interjuver med användare, systemförvaltare samt arbetsledare. De får bestämma hur den ska se ut och vad den skall innehålla. Tanken med detta är att få en så användarvänlig manual som möjligt. Den färdiga dokumentationen testas med hjälp av verkliga fall från den dagliga verksamheten och användarna kommer med förslag på eventuella förändringar.Manualen är företagsintern och finns endast i den slutna uppsatsvarianten..

Introduction: Frequent attenders is a term used in health care services that define a person attending a health care setting more than four times during a 12 month period. Recently published research concerning frequent attenders in pediatric emergency departments describes their reasons for attending a health care service or characteristics of these individuals but lacks a qualitative approach exploring their experiences. There is a need of these experiences to be shared so that health care personnel caring for this group may gain a greater understanding of their needs and expectations.Aim: The aim of this study is to describe how parents of children defined as frequent attenders experience the care received at a pediatric emergency department.Method: Qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews. A pilot study of four interviews was conducted to test the method. Sampling consisted of parents of children defined as frequent attenders and that were not diagnosed with a chronic illness.

Manual om tillgänglighet och användbarhet i gruppbostad
Detta examensarbete är en manual om tillgänglighet och användbarhet i gruppbostad för personer med nedsatt rörelse- och orienteringsförmåga. Arbetet är gjort för Arkitektgruppen GKAK och skall användas som hjälpmedel vid projekteringen. Meningen med manualen är att den ska minska risken för att viktiga krav och regler förbises. Arbetet ger först en teoribakgrund om olika handikappgruppers behov. Därefter är varje kapitel i manualen indelad i regler, råd och rekommendationer.

Då användare av någon produkt använder sig av dess manual, är det vanligt han eller hon hoppar över stycken som verkar irrelevanta eller för mödosamma att ta till sig i för hållande till den nyttan som informationen kan tänkas ge. Då kan användaren också missa information, som är nödvändig för att en uppgift/problem skall lösas. Denna studie har undersökt och jämfört tre olika sätt att markera ut ett stycke information i en manual. Med manualens hjälp har försöksdeltagarna sorterat kanaler på en TV. De olika sätten att markera informationen skiljer sig åt i den grad av relevans de har till uppgiften.
